    These look really good. I usually just buy the kind from the grocery store, but I bet homemade ones are incredible. Didn't look like they were too difficult to make. Thanks for sharing the process.

      Unless we make them, we also buy the frozen pierogi. Thanks for watching and commenting!

    When I was in college I worked part time at Channel Home Center and there was an older gentleman who worked there who was like a second grandfather to me and he would bring me in homemade pierogi and other foods of his culture and they were delicious!! I haven't had homemade since then so I will be right over; set me a spot at the table because these look amazing!!!

    TEAM LUMBERJACK! So that's how you make them. I noticed Wegmans butter! Spending most of my life in Rochester NY, I'm all to familiar with Wegmans. I miss those stores. Nice job guys!

      Like me, many people eat them, but don't know how to make them. Here at LumberjackPa, we're all about education and training, and if that doesn't work, we resort to comedy! There's a Wegmans about fifteen minutes from us here in southeastern Pennsylvania. Thanks for watching and supporting us!

    I do watch your hiking videos, but due to the length of them, I watch on the large screen, bad thing is, I can't comment that way. Great to see a cooking video from you though! Pierogis and a guy in PA? Tiny pizza dough,...yes! Sounds like you approve! I like it too!

      I watch on my TV via casting UA-cam videos from my phone and commenting using my phone. There's lots of Eastern European immigrants in my area, and pierogi is a thing here. I definitely approve! Thanks for watching and commenting, Frozen Pizza King!

    Having grown up on my Italian grandmothers home cooking those look absolutely delicious. Very similar to how they make dumplings in Taiwan. Only difference is the stuff you put inside. Just need a few BAMS! and you'll be the next Emeril

    • @LumberjackPa
      @LumberjackPa  5 місяців тому

      Thanks, Ron! It's definitely neat to make that your ancestors enjoyed. It's gonna take quite a few BAMS to get to Emeril status, but one can hope.

    Hey there, LumberjackPa! @travelingRonman sent me your way. I found your link on his Little Buffalo meetup video. I'm K. My wife Ro and I started our hiking channel last year. We were happy to find this little gem in your catalog. Ro comes from a long line of pierogi makers. She's carrying on the family tradition handed down from her mother and grandmother. She used to make about 300 pierogies once a year before the holidays but now-a-days it's smaller batches throughout the year. Her specialty fillings are 1) farmer cheese 2) Sauteed cabbage and onion 3) Potato/Cheddar. She has a pierogi template she lays the dough and filling into and can make 6 at a time. BTW, she gives you a 👍, nice job!

      That's a much larger pierogi operation than we've got going here. I am thrilled that Ron sent you, and thanks for checking out our channel! Also, please thank Ro for the 👍 on our pierogi.

    Boy , I don't know....my monitor must need calibration. I swear that was 9/64" not 1/8", but you were there, not me. I am saving this video, I haven't made pierogi's in a few years. Thank You!

    • @LumberjackPa
      @LumberjackPa  5 місяців тому +1

      I can use 9/64" but 5/32" is out of my tolerance zone. I am happy that you have found this video useful.

    I sure know that pierogis are not easy to make...they do take a certain knack and patience...not something made at the last minute for sure! Awesome stuff though...awesome!!
