I have an Exact 2 and had thought about upgrading to an Ania or even an Ania Pro… but now with the ND7 coming I may wait and hear what the initial thoughts and reviews of it are…
My worry is the exposed barrel and stylus tip. Knowing my luck the first time I go to clean it, I will snap it off…………………………………………….Now that I written this I have just realised it sounds remotely perverse?!? I will wait for the ND7 to replace my EXACT2. Will I get a trade in discount? Salutations from Belfast Northern Ireland uk
A business owner who clearly tells you he sells this and other options. Generally, he only talks about items he sells. Anyone who cannot understand that probably shouldn’t be allowed out on their own.
Agree. Used to be a more wide ranging channel with repair videos etc, now just gives incredibly positive ‘reviews’ to gear he sells. Very disappointing. He doesn’t read the comments either which I think tells you a lot.
@@gregsadler410 I hear what you’re saying but he has explained previously that he only stocks what he likes so it’s probably not surprising that he speaks positively about his stocked range. I have heard him saying that CD player X has positive performance relative to CD player Y but he stocks both X and Y. I also think that comments like those of the OP are probably why he doesn’t bother to read the comments. If people don’t like his content then no one is forcing them to watch. If people stop watching then the type of content will likely change. Personally I enjoy his videos and find them informative. Would I buy something purely on his recommendation? Probably not. I find it strange that people spend their time to make negative comments on something they don’t like. Why bother? Just dislike it and move on.
This is not a review channel, its a promotional channel and there is nothing wrong with that if you are aware of it, which we should be. I started my working life selling hifi and have kept up with equipment for the last 50 years as a hobby. The number of bad equipment reviews of the thousands I have read or seen can be counted on my fingers.
Looks good. I wonder how it compares with the Goldring 1042 which works really well on my P3.
Would I notice a big enough difference between it and the Ortofon 2m blue that I have now?

Get a ND7. It is the real game changer.
Nd7 is gonna be big money man
I was thinking the same thing - and also have an exact on a p6
@@mauriziolagaxio4954not as much as an anya and an MC stage?
it's deeper than the exact - how does that effect VTA when installing - i read you have to change the cueing platform -
It's odd that you don't mention the main feature of this cartridge, which is the type of magnet that is used and it's supposed benefits.
Been looking forward to seeing this

Who actually makes cartridges for Riga?
I think they make alot of them, themselves. I’ve seen factory tour videos on UA-cam showing this.
Rega make them
That stylus guard looks awful! If I get one of these, then once it's fitted that guard is never going back on.
If you have the p8 / p10 it is a risk both ways as the overhanging arm is easy to catch
I presume this’ll replace the exact option for pre installed MM cartridges on the p6?
Yes, but go for the ND7 instead.
Keep the videos coming Phil , Dave.
Is the tip the same type as the Ania Pro as opposed to the Ania?
A business owner reviewing a product they want to sell is surely a massive conflict of interest

Only if they are dishonest, he is transparent, and you don't have to watch
