My wife, Beryl and myself sang this song at our wedding reception 39 years ago with a backup band led by my wife's brother, Gerard Machado, a legendary musician from Bangalore, India. Truly memorable. Thanks Michael for reviving this old classic and many other such classics. You surely have that great voice to match those superb legendary singers of yesteryears, you are a wonderful orator too and finally, you look very handsome. Not to forget, Loren Allred whose beautiful voice blends very well with yours in this song.

This is without a doubt THE BEST version of this song I have ever heard. Michael had an inspired idea for changing the storyline so the song has a happy ending. I am in love with the string arrangement with the tremolo touches and sweeping effect, and using trumpets on the bridge is such a creative touch. I am a record producer and I'd rate this A+. What talented singers!

Loren singing this with Michael makes it better than him doing it alone. The timber/resonance of their individual voices blends amazingly well. I think they should experiment with this and do more songs together. This is rare and exceptional. Musical accompaniment is excellent.

I would call myself a "fan" of Buble because I really enjoy his voice AND his stage personality. He's a star entertainer in my books.
I am thrilled by Loren's voice but other than that I know nothing about her. So, I'm a fan of her vocal ability only at this point.

I have a preference for any music that I can understand the words being sung and hum the tune. I don't much care for labels. I do like some jazz & classical... but again, it's gotta have some semblance of a TUNE.
I can tell you that, IMO, a large percent of what I hear on air these days is unoriginal, unintelligible, poorly produced copycat junk. I can't tell one singer from the next any more... not like the "old days" when artists had unique sounds... we could identify them by the first note... Sinatra, Fitzgerald, Vaughn, Damone, and so on... hundreds of TRUE artists.
Today, I suspect there are many greats but they're like needles buried in a haystack of mediocre wannabees.
