- UConn head coach Geno Auriemma praised the play of Paige Bueckers this season, and particularly from the Big East Tournament until now. Geno compared Paige favorably to Breanna Stewart, and said Bueckers has played even better this year than she did her freshman season.

it's not even close. She's leading a team with 4 freshmen, only 7 in the rotation and all the pressure of being back in the NCAAs after missing last year. She's BY FAR the most efficient star and now an absolutely elite defender. Anyone who knows hoops sees how much she impacts the game and she's in a class of her own.
She's not really in a class of her own but none the less, I have been telling people she is better than Caitlin to me. Just a better all-around player than Caitlin and the media acts like they don't remember her.
what is really impressive is her switch to power forward. clark gets the press but paige does it all.
Interesting that he liked the comparison to Stewie. I think he sees the quiet confidence and ability to back it up that both have. They play different styles to my eye. Nothing quiet about DTs confidence, but she can also back it up.
May I take this moment to talk about two artists who are having a great impact on so many people. One is a singer who vocally and artistically is wonderful. She has a soulful voice and we can feel her love in our heart when she sings. And, it's so much more than how she sings, it is 'who she is' that touches us so deeply. The other is a basketball player who excels in every aspect of the game and we marvel at how she plays. And, it's so much more than how she plays, it is 'who she is' that touches us so deeply. They are both beautiful human beings and an inspiration to us all to be the best we can be as kind, caring and loving human beings more than we ever have been before in our lives. It's not a fairy tale, it's the real deal.

Two more years….two more years!!!!
Paige had two of her college seasons stolen from her due to injury!!! Paige deserves a FULL four season college experience and the next two seasons with a fully healthy squad!!! After how well the Huskies have done this year with half of their squad on the bench with injuries, can you imagine what this team would look like at full strength???!!!
Two full healthy years with Azzi and company!!!!! I’m crossing my fingers!!!
