Since its lip and hip, the focus was on her lips and butt. The word butt can be the same as hip in Korean. So when they say hip and point to their butts it means the same thing. And what I heard was that she was purposefully being overly provocative as a kind of a stab at Korean societys view on what is sexy and censorship. Which is why the the french fry was censored as if it was a cigarette when it wasnt
I'm so happy you girls are back!! But you guys never seem to have a problem watching boy groups (monsta X, especially at the MAMAs) having sexy concepts and being controversial but you don't like this?! Seems little strange and unfair to me and I don't even like girls to say that that's why I support this concept😂 And also she didn't show anything at all, she just tricked the viewers thinking that she might actually show something but she doesn't. Kinda like what EXID does in most of their concepts (like "ah yeah", "up&down" etc). Anyways, I'm glad you're catching up and can't wait for the next video😊

This mv wasn't supposed to be sexy, but instead showing how to be comfortable with your body (mainly going through puberty and changes), and how in Korea it can be very awkward for people because they're so anal and self kept

i love you guys but i’m sorry u always love seeing naked boy group members but criticize girl for doing it, even tho she hasnt done anything way sexy :)
Theres a lot of symbolism in the video so i get why it may seem random at first but the imagery in the video isnt unnecessary at all and expressed exactly what the lyrics are saying and what hyuna has been saying in interviews about expressing sexuality and taking control of her body in her way. I think minimizing her to just a sexy concept is a mistake.
We have seen in the comments that this was what she was trying to express/convey in the mv so thanks for the explanation... however we weren't bashing Hyuna, a lot of the video just seemed outlandish to us (especially because we didn't know the backstory/reasoning behind it). Lol Hyuna's trademark is her sexiness and charisma, she has amazing presence, we just weren't really feeling the video is all, but we still love Hyuna! Thanks for watching :)

Please explain to me why you guys have videos where you react to “sexy moments” of male idols and don’t say shit about how they’re being “try-hards” yet call Hyuna (who you’re supposedly a fan of) a try-hard when she’s literally been doing sexy concepts since she first went solo?
hmmm... we can't help that you only focused on one of our comments, when we ourselves acknowledged Hyuna is the sexy queen and has many amazing comebacks. In her other songs like: red, roll deep, babe, change, bubble pop - her sexiness was tastefully done and we liked the choreography/styling... this music video we didn't. The thing about Hyuna is she doesn't really need to do much to be sexy she already is, this song/mv just didn't do it for us, a lot of just seemed to be out there for no reason - but we've seen in comments that she was doing this as an F U to Korean standards and expressing that they cant control/box her in. I don't think anything we said in this reaction makes us Hyuna/Female idol bashers, but everyone is entitled to their opinion. Thanks for watching! :)
