- What is so amazing about Dua Lipa is that Rock Lady never heard of Dua Lipa. So, I had her listen to "New Rules". You see, I heard one song of Dua Lipa with a guest and that was it. So when I know that Rock Lady primarily listens and sings rock music in a band....I just knew we had to hear this one.
It is so strange that we old people have not heard a song that has over 2 BILLION views. But, it is true. We listen to totally different radio stations and streams of music.
Anyway, this was fun. Even though I could not get into the video itself...I totally could see the song being popular when on the dance floor or at a party. The music was great...the video was like a chick flick.

YES ROCK LADY!!!! She totally gets it; I love how she fully supports & roots for the young girls. Dua Lipa is actually amazing, this was the first song I heard from her & I don't know why but she totally earned my respect with this. The song is a real banger, and the music video is smart & beautifully choreographed. She is also a model and dancer - she really does have it all! I just recently bought her Grammy winning album "Future Nostalgia", and DAMN that is one good album!!! Not a bad or boring song in it, half a dozen big hits and a couple surprises, too. The closure "Boys will be boys" gave me actual goosebumps; I was so impressed and totally blown away with that one. I almost cried in my car listening to it for the first time.

I know this song is nowhere near Dua Lipa in terms of theme, but You should listen to Linkin Park's new song! It is called "Lost", and it was a song that never got produced past the studio before Chester Bennington, their lead singer, passed away. They finally produced the song and released it, and are working on making an album of other songs that had the same thing happen to them.

I love rock...but I guess I might be a little musically diverse. I am not stuck in one genre. I like many types. If you have a super talented musician or entertainer, how could you not enjoy it?
I have a question...have you ever been to a Broadway show? Have you ever watched a musical? Have you ever sang in church? Have you ever been to a nightclub and danced? Have you ever been to a wedding and danced?
If so, you just answered your own question as to why I could listen yo this and enjoy it, then go to a Rammstein Concert.
It really isn't disappointing at all. It is experiencing culture at its best.
