It's been so long since I had a history lesson on Canada Day! But thank you for reminding me of all these important moments in our history. My favourite part is that it's a holiday and a reason to celebrate. Great narration.

Thank you for watching Sara! We love Canada and usually go to the celebrations, but sadly this year I had a really bad cold (and didn’t need to spread that love around LOL)

Fascinating the differences between The routes the United States and Canada took to independence. I appreciate the historical exposition. Also that you showcased the history with the natives as well.

Glad you enjoyed it! We are still tied to the UK in somethings even though we have our independence. Thanks for watching.

That was interesting! Did you say that the flag with the maple leaf only was made in 1965? That's the year I was born so, it must be good... 😁
Great day for celebrations and I agree the Beaver looks very cute! 😍
    Happy Canadian day!

That is correct - the maple leaf flag didn’t get adopted until 1965. It is interesting to see the design that were contenders foe the official flag.

Canada, you had to have your canada day on July 1st, so close to the 4th of July, our Independence Day. Where our country had to do a lot more to get its independence than you did?.

Thanks for watching. We are a different and separate country from the US. We celebrate Canada on July 1st - it’s not a competition.
