This is my first FPV wing and it's a ton of fun and so much different than the quads. It's awesome to just be able to cruise for 8 minutes plus and roam around big areas like this. It's definitely better in calm conditions through. The wind really pushes it around and makes the video really shaky.
ReapR_X FPV Thanks! This was out by the Lacrosse fields and ball fields in Liberty Park in Vestavia, AL. I am still flying. It’s usually getting quick flights in going to and from work like this one was.
Sol mag I used a crossfire nano receiver with the adapter board that lets you plug servo plugs into it: www.team-blacksheep.com/products/prod:xfnano_adapter You’ll also have to go into the lua scripts in your transmitter and change the receiver output from CRSF to PWM. That will make the receiver output signals to the different channels to work the elevens and throttle.
Sol mag Yes, you will. It just changes how the receiver outputs it’s signal to the flight controller or servo outputs. It doesn’t change the CRSF link between the transmitter and receiver.
It was the built in flight stabilizer. Not sure if I had a faulty unit or what. I’ve since taken it out and just plugged the servos directly into the receiver.
Nice video. What mode are you flying in?
William Fitz Thanks! I was flying in stabilized mode for this flight. The mode that gives full control for loops and rolls, but helps with wind.
So beautiful
Now I want a wing!

I’m from Alabama too! Where were you flying here, and are you still flying these days? Gorgeous video BtW 😊👍🏻

Bama3Dr that’s cool. I’m in northern Alabama in Morgan County. I don’t get to fly like I’d like, but I hope to change that soon
Nice video. Could you please tell me how you connect your TBS Crossfire to the recruit Flight controller? Thanks in advance

@@bama3dr608 thanks for the explanation. Will I still get the full range of the TBS? I'm planning to do a long range with it someday

@@bama3dr608 Thanks, ordered the adapter from Heli-Nation I should receive it in a couple of days. If I order from TBS it will take weeks to get it.
@@bama3dr608 BTW how many channels will I get with this?
What’s up with the random twitch
