I have this set! I got them from Cult Pens when they had a sale on the 20 set along with the 4 singles! I love these pencils. The Pablo's and the Luminance go nicely together because the Pablo's are so vivid and bright and the Luminance are more muted. They are great together! Thanks for sharing!
I got the 20 portrait set from Cult pens as well when they were on sale too! It completes my Luminance set as there are 100 different colours! They are pretty beautiful! And my Pablos arrived today from Jerry's Art O Rama! Great video!
I am sort of glad that the new blender works the same. I have four of the older ones, 2 that came in my set and 2 that I bought on my own. I love them, mostly for the tactile feel of them (hexagonal and they actually feel very cool to the touch in my hand and I love that). They are my favorite blender pencils.
Goodness they're SO pretty 😍 I ordered two open stock pencils, my favourite colours aubergine and malachite green, along with 2 of each of the blenders. I'm curious to know what they're like!! I'm still a (very) beginning colourist so can't justify buying a full set until my skills greatly improve as I won't do those pencils justice just yet 😊 thank you for sharing. I always love watching your review videos.
It's so easy to get addicted to pencils within twelve months I have purchased Castle Arts 120 Arteza 120 and 48 set Black widow Spider Cobra and Monarch Arteza watercolour brush pens Arteza 72 fineliners Arteza 60 gel Pens Arteza metallic watercolour half pans Caran Dache Neo colours 2 30 set Faber Castell 120 was a Xmas gift I could carry on but as my niece who is a colourist says if you are just colouring as a Hobby it's crazy to be spending a fortune for the Derwent Artist Holbeins caran Dache Luminance and Pablo they are very expensive and are aimed more for the professional Artist who's Art is expected to last for years hence using the high quality pigmented lightfast pencils. So I have come to the realisation that it is best to stick to the cheaper brands but will treat myself to open stock Faber Castell when mine need replacing.
These definitely round out the previous 76. I understand why the 4 weren't included in the set but it is so tedious to go get the sets then find the 4 open stock (at least it was when they came out). For the longest time the open stock was out of stock but Cult Pens does sell the bundle making it easier.
One question I want to buy The color black and white individually but I don't know the name, code or number of those colors can you tell me the code? Thank you
i haven't done research but im pretty sure the blenders are exactly the same, except the core of the blender is encased in the wood and not 'bare'. They likely came out with the "pencil form" of the blender because it would be easier to use and break less (common sense really).

I agree it is tedious to have to go searching by color with the four additional sold separately. I wonder why they didn’t just include them.

Blick now charges shipping on their back orders. I had back orders on the Lightfast pencils and they simply canceled them.

I am assuming that may be what it is. It's also better to hold without that glossy, more slippery finish on it.
