- Mr. Solomon begins with an account of evolving disability ministry opportunities in El Salvador. He provides a biblical foundation for disability ministry by citing Luke 14 and Matthew 4, 15, and 21. The primary focus of his talk is about his daughter Jill, who has suffered with severe seizures since birth and is significantly disabled. He speaks of begging God to spare Jill’s life, and in that moment, starting to view Jill not as a “burden,” but as a blessing and privilege. He enumerates three blessings of suffering: tenderizing the world, burning out shallowness, and increasing our hope that God will “settle every account” in the life to come. He emphasizes that every person with disability has divine purpose and closes with a brief description of the fruitful disability ministry of MacLean Bible Church and Access Ministry.

I am humbled and truly blessed by this presentation. May God grant me the Power to serve all regardless of their abilities. I would like to have contacts with Pastor Solomon and have a conversation as well as a speaking assignment with my students. How could I contact you? God bless your Special Ministries!
