Someone hoping to find an idiot! I wouldn't have the truck after it's been worked on with tune and clutch change, but that's just me. People dick with a stock truck to induce possible issues. My good friend has a 2005 Dodge 3500 dually with the manual, the only real advantage is fuel mileage compared to the auto trans. My previous cummins truck was a 2005 Dodge 3500 dually, HO 5.9, auto trans, 4x4 geared 4:10. My friends manual has standard 5.9, 4x4, geared 4:10. We towed horse trailers all over NC, TN & VA mountains, my living quarter 42' trailer weighed 3k-4k more than his 34' trailer, both trucks towed similar, but he got better fuel mileage.
I'm with you on the tune and such. I wouldn't own the truck if it had been tuned or "deleted" either. I have to differ on the clutch, though. The clutch is a consumable part, like tires, brake pads, and windshield wipers. It has to be replaced every so often, depending on use, and the Southbend clutch that was added to this truck is vastly superior to the OEM clutch. It's not some freaky high-performance thing meant to boost performance, it's just a better engineered part. It's typically quieter, with less vibration, longer service life, and better positive lock-up (i.e. less slip) on each gear shift, particularly with towing. If I'm ever lucky enough to find a G56 Ram in good enough shape to buy, installing that clutch is probably the first thing I'd do, just for my own peace of mind.
I love standards. Driven many of them, currently own one. However with the advent of the 8/10sp automatic transmission it is getting harder and harder for me to even digest the idea of having a standard for serious work. The extra ratios and convenience are just too good to pass up.
Ram kept the manual popular mainly due to the mediocre 47re and 48re alternatives. The aisin is much better, but I still wish they offered either a 5 with splitter, or a 7 speed stick. Unfortunately I understand there aren’t enough people who consider shifting half the joy of driving to justify the expense of developing and marketing a manual with the input torque rating of today’s engines.
😂 Ive Seen that truck ad too. Was in chapel hill two Weeks Ago. Seeing what's out there in NC on autotempest and Facebook Market. I rather buy semi. Ive found a few. 06-08. I'm Interested in. But also Found an 2017 mega cab in VA under 150k in low 40k got my eye on.
There’s a dealer in Illinois that has 6 or more G56 trucks most of them tradesmen trim level and priced into the mid 50’s and of course most have been on their website for pushing 2 years now these dealers are pricing these manual trucks to the moon if it doesn’t sell in close to two years you might have it over priced! Lol
I’m guessing around $40-45K according to Kelly Blue Book. It’s just a good place to start. It’s been in a wreck, low mileage, 2nd owner, yeah it must of been a bad wreck and it’s not driving right.
@itruck96 it's parked outside my house, hooked to the 5th wheel right now. Just because your jealous doesn't mean it's not real. 467k on it, and going strong. I did the Limited interior swap, including dash, myself. I had my friends at Encore Automotive do the trans swap. I built a shifter that comes up through the center console, with a short through adapter. Dual disc southbend clutch. EFI Live tuning. Gaterback Headstuds. 1 piece driveshaft. High capacity radiator. Long arm front end with EMF ball joints, and running 37x13.5x20s with only a 2" leveling kit. I built my version of a grumper for the front, and a rear bumper as well, coated in black lines with painted top coat. Coolant inline filter. Fully deleted. The next major undertaking will be a megacab, longbed conversion with fully functioning quad captain limited seats and full rear center console. Then 40s on a 2" leveling kit only.
@ratracewelding6935 Mine is modified also pulling my 40 foot toy hauler. I just bought a second smaller trailer 1 month ago. I'm currently writing you on the beach where we're camped. I'm not jealous of you.
Bought my 2017 Laramie G56 3500, 4x4, crew with 12k miles on it for 70k (bought in 2022, currently has 28k miles clean title) Blacked out, full leather, sunroof, basically fully loaded I’ll upload a video on my account if you want to see it
If the potential buyer lives in a state with emissions, they will have a hell of a time getting it registered! That truck has definitely been deleted. Not worth more than 35-40k! Aftermarket add-ons don't add to the overall value of a vehicle! They simply add appeal.
Really strange ad, particularly the stuff about the brakes. Also, really strange for someone to dump a bunch of money into upgrades then sell the truck 1,500 miles later. Price and accident history aside, there's just too many red flags for me to even consider contacting the guy, much less actually buying the truck. This sounds like a flipper or a dealer sale, if not even a scam, and the truck's real story is in the dark, if the truck even exists.
Don’t fool yourselves. There is plenty of demand. The manufacturer will not offer a manual due to the higher profit and planned obsolescence of the auto. The auto grave yards are full of vehicles with failed auto transmissions that are cost prohibitive to repair.
Hey An accident what type damage? And a second owner. Over priced. I guess if you going to have to contact him and get more information on accident and title
WHY WHY WHY WHY WHYYYYYYYYY background music?!?!? So many decent vids made terrible by the music. Just say no to background music. I want to be able to finish watching this in peace lol
You’re seeing the higher prices on these trucks because your searches for Manuel trucks instead of manual. Manuel’s are a bit more fancy.
😂
I like Manuel, he makes the best chilaquiles in town.
LMFAO

I'd love to see an Eaton 10 speed manual, in a RAM HD!
Guy really did the captain meme, " look at me, I'm the dealer now!"
I sold my 2012 3500 6speed dually that i bought new for 40k last year. I paid 40k for that truck when it was new.

I've got a 07.5 dually 4 door manual, Laramie. Had it for 10 years, I can't part with it. Idk what it's worth.

I can understand why they don't offer manuals anymore but i really wish they did
They didn’t sell.
Could never find one . They were never on dealer lots new so it wasn’t even an option.
No lender will cough up that amount for an auto loan. Most they will do is 120% loan to value ratio. At $48,000 the most they'll go is $57,600
Cash, po' boy
That's a lie. I got a 100k auto loan haha
It's collateral to them.
I see how expensive they are, that’s why I’ll be buying a Silverado custom
I'm a guessing $50K? - On with the show.
I know someone with an 06 Laramie long bed crew cab (non dually) 2500 with the G56. 106000 miles. Sunroof also. Is that an unusual spec?
Dude bumped his head in that accident
Is that GA’s old truck?
I'm hoping rumors of the 2025 are true that a new Cummins will be getting a new ZF transmission.
I’ve got. 2016 mid night edition with 142k miles 4x4 g56 for 36500
I'm thinking 40 K for the manuel transmission... but it could be more ... If I had the $, I'd do it
I've got a 14 2500 G56 Laramie with 100k and have been really happy with it. Not impressed with the Ram autos.
50K is about what I would guess.
I bought my 2021 ram 3500 single rear wheel 4x4 crew lo g bed in 2021 new larime for 74400 new . I was thinking 50 to 65000 . Denis from SantaRosaCa
As of 12/3/24 its still on the website and still 74k
Autotrader shows only nine available in the country (2018 with a manual)
Theres alot more vehicle for sale other than AutoTrader tho.
3:14 51,000

You gotta Pay to Play😇
I was gonna say $35-$40K.
75k, dudes higher than giraffe nutz!!
Should be a self driving truck for that price
He can price it at 100k if he wants. Nobody’s that stupid to buy it.
You would be surprised how many people would probably buy it
There are plenty of people that stupid. There just aren’t many of them with money today.
I was thinking 75k.....wow....🤷♂️....Homeboy here is smoking deep.....why are you suprised by this? 😆
Dealer use blackbook
