I love the attempt and the idea, but they need more scare actors and to utilize the space more. Definitely love the idea! This would actually be good for someone who isn't big on back to back scares. They just need fill in some of the space.
For some reason I think empty spaces makes it more scary lol.

I feel like it’s too open. Like there is so much space from the guests and the scare actors. If it had been a lot more confined and otherwise smaller in general, it would’ve been better IMO.

Yeah I also agree, It just seemed empty. Wether it be funds or just general under utilizing space it just lacked and real scares. The like slaughter house section of the train was cool but apart from that it was abit meh

Man if only this place had a massive budget because the location is a home run. But it's very very sparse,I wouldn't pay more than ten bucks for this event. Excellent location because there's so much room but it's just so Bare Bones

they don't really need a massive budget they just need a more dedicated haunt director. It is amazing what a person that loves haunts can do. Though I think they were trying to go for a more family friendly hence why it didn't have a lot of scares within it
I feel they had too much space to work with, but for what they had there's a lot of really cool concepts in here! If they could find some middle ground where these were shorter it'd actually be very good IMO.
I know of a really good maze in Thousand Oaks, CA (not sure if you can film it or not tho). It’s called Reign of Terror and I definitely recommend checking it out! I went there the night after opening night this year :)

Basically, Summer and Kaleigh both have day jobs so we only do stuff that we can get back from the same day. We might expand a bit for next season though.

I kind of like that its lowkey. Definitely seems to be geared towards being more family friendly as they clearly intend to keep the gore to a minimum. However, I do agree with everyone else that there's just too much empty space and long walkways with nothing. There are several hallways and turns that are just barren and exist solely to extend the length of the maze but add nothing. Sometimes, it can be a good thing. Let people relax a little and then get them when they least expect it. But 70% of the maze should not be empty.

This one definitely fills more like your basic cheaper haunt. Though the trail did look pretty interesting. The cage was your basic maze you find in all the local haunted attraction, and the fright train didn't really have much going for it beyond the slaughter house.
They need to announce where there going cause they literally are in my county fairgrounds and i wouldn't have known they would go there

I saw you guys at Knotts i believe it was last sunday i was going into wax works and you two were coming out, then a woman who I believe works with you said hello to me. Then again before opening ceremonies at around 6:55PM the same woman said "we meet again" I was standing behind you when you stood behind the yellow ropes near Ghost Rider. Unfortunately I was trapped by running guests into the park and we were separated I never saw you two again...
I think It's really scary that the place looks Isolated In parts with no one around adding more creepiness until the
Next ghoul of some sort jumps out from no where, what you don't see can be more effective.
Such a swing and a miss on this one. Personally went and disappointed. Should check out reign of terror tho in thousands oaks. Pretty good and same price haha.

Great space for a haunt. The FC fairgrounds used to have a haunt about 15 years ago so its nice to see them back but so much wasted space. Not enough cast or props. The first maze wss good . the second maze was to long for so few events and the tram ride was just more wasted space... Not sure why there was not more use if the indoor space ...insurance.... But thus us the first time this group had done a haunt hear and I was told they could not get actors so its an ok staet. Just to much wasted space
Part of their tag line was “open air haunts” so yes, I think they might have been working around restrictions. Adding a bunch more fog and a few more scare actors would really solidify the experience.
@@sharpproductions probably I would guess insurance or I don't know maybe you have to pay to rent the inside places? pluse they keep horses there so that might have been a concern.
yes mote actor's. a friend us working there told me actor's were leaving after one day because it was to loud/hard.
I would have condensed the space and either dump the second maze or the tram and spruce up the theeming
The terror trail should have been 1.0 miles and the fright train should have went in 1 more room and they should have had a pop up circus 🎪 in the parking lot which would have been way better and use 3 of the rooms at the fairgrounds to put a scare zone in with 15 to 25 actors in it depending on the size of the rooms then that would have been worth $50 per person

Man I went to this event this past weekend and was extremely disappointed. You could get a knotts scary farm ticket for almost the same price and have an insanely way better time. Idk who were supposed to complain to but this event was just absolutely pathetic. I’m mad I spent my money on it
Sorry to hear they didn’t fill in any of the empty spots since our visit. Knott’s was fantastic this year! They seemed to be the only big event that was the same scale as previous years, all the scare zones, mazes fully stocked with scare actors, etc.

i feel like it wasn’t a very good haunt like they never really had a theme for anything they just put up a bunch of lights, some smoke and some caution tape to lead the way and the acting wasn’t great and way too much space for every haunt you can’t make people feel like they can run around you have to make it tight and compact.
I think HHN sets the bar to night cuz that maze was boring cuz almost nothing happened

Not scary at all... Don't waste your time or $$. Unless you're like 5 then it might scare you but as an adult it's just absurd. We wasted our $ on VIP passes and still had hour waits which were totally NOT worth it at all!!! Total disappointment. Booo!
On the night we went we had VIP also, and so did everybody else! The regular lines were shorter 😭
