GGs. Well played. I am disappointed with my performance in game three but I enjoyed the series and it was a pleasure to collab! I look forward to our next set of games.
Hey Stoney! Big time fan :) A big part of enjoying Mechabellum for me is the cinema of watching the two army's fight. During this video I noticed that a slight zoom into the central battlefield as the fight starts would be excellent to fill the screen, plus making the fight (as well as micro differences in unit engagements) easier to see for viewers with poor eyesight/watching on a smaller screen. I think you are an insanely fast learner and would like to kindly request you give some creative videomaker attention to the cinema of the fight! I think you would find your own unique methods very quickly, and be spontaneous to viewers feedback whether they like it or not. Finally, i know the community lies somewhat divided on the Auto-cinematic camera during the fight - and your knowledge of the communities views on this would shape your decision massively, however if ethically feasible I think that could be a very low-effort way of improving the visuals. Much love and respect!
Thanks for the feedback! I try to manually control the camera as the auto camera can cause dizziness in some viewers. I take your point and I'll try to zoom in when I can to accommodate smaller screens.
Stoney I have a admission. I was spectating another game of yours a couple nights ago, when a random said "Betting everything on the person who wins the next round" which happened to be your opponent. So in a "monkey's together, strong" moment, I bet 200 tickets on your loss. I lost my tickets. XD
@ yeah. Maybe as stoney said. Some aa maskman will do great work. If It is my turn I gonna deop 3 of them and focus on one side so they can focus and take down one at a time.
Ya, the anti missile on the mustangs actively hurt Whooped AND cost a ton on a triple teched unit. When I see a teched Overlord, I know its time to triple drop elite recruited Marksman. Probably giving them AA at the same time. If you really want to fight boats with Mustangs, You need to tech range, AA, buy them at rank two, AND not buy AM. Those could have killed boats. But level 1's with AM were never going to do it.
What is wrong with people - I really don't get AM mustangs, always underwhelming. Spending 200 on a unit and whatever the tech costs to half-counter a 200 cost stormcaller? Just makes no sense at all to me. At least AM on stuff like the sabertooth doesn't make it useless for everything else. I wonder how it would have gone with Range mustangs on OP instead of AM.
With the constant recent buffs they arent terrible. But you need them to either have AM or the other stuff. AM Mustangs are decent chaff and AM. The problem was however it was Launcher overload Boats. They shoot so quickly that the mustangs never do anything else. But he also said that in the end i just noticed.
AM mustangs are only good at level 1, being used as mostly chaff with the added benefit of doing a tiny bit of chaff clear and an OK decrease to Stormcaller damage. If you want the mustangs to do more than be chaff, AM is the wrong tech for them.
I think the conventional wisdom of not going AM on Mustangs is outdated. It can certaintly work--and has for me many times post-patch with the increase in efficiency. The problem is that I went AM first. I should have gone Range and then ultimately AA > AP. My board state also compounded this; I was losing in every area.
@@WhoopedGG Do keep in mind thought that main gun range has no bearing whatsoever on the missile intercept, at least afaik. Only with positioning of the unit which might have an impact/Keep them safer
Overlord missiles travel too fast and overkill anyway. So even if you knock 1 or 2 of the missiles out of the sky, the other two take down whatever small or medium unit it was shooting at. And during that time, the mustangs are not adding to DPS. I sometimes use AM on mustangs, but it's to counter someone who overinvested in stormcallers.

Very nice this bo3, I would gladly see more!
Thanks for your vids, very insightful and educational!

@stoneymechabellum thank you very much for acknowledging and hope it improves the viewers' experience for you!
Really enjoyed the BO3 and your videos in general.
love the explanations along with the videos
Good stuff Stoney. GGwp indeed!
Bo3s are certainly interesting, especially if you end up doing ladder play with bo5 to 7 for finalists.

Haha I remember that one. Had to pull a rabbit out of a hat with some creative oil and mobile beacon play. Would've lost otherwise xD
High explosive is great on boats
Nice win
more of these please.
I think a melting point with energy absorption moght work too. Absorbing and diffraction. Just 1 lvl2 melting maybe can hold back your boat.
They work wonders as long as you win the chaff war. If you are behind on chaff when the boats drop, you will want something with AA instead.

anti missile stangs work so nice early game, hurt later on.
