1. General application and Editing of Character Motions.
2. 5:56 Using Existing Motions as Basis for other Motions.
3. 8:02 Using a two handed weapon or object.
Seeing it in 2020, using iClone 7.73 and learning many things. Thank you.

Hi ! EXCELLENT ! I'm going to give this a look. I got here via a link in a comment on the RHINO-BONGO (Animation for RHINO) discussion board, where I was looking for something to help me get some BASIC character movement in my Equipment Animations. Do I bring in my equipment, set up its movements here and attach the character motions ? I have EVERYTHING set up to RUN in my RHINO-BONGO, so re-doing it would be a pain. Instead, is there a way to set up and accomplish his motions there - possibly a RHINO plugin for iClone or some such ?
'Great tutorial. Learned a lot from it. One question though. Once I have layered actions to get a walk looking the way I want, how do I use it and make my actor move forward in space at the same time. I have been trying to do this with a run, but every time I go back and click on my scent to make my actor move to the spot he goes back to walking. What am I missing?
I always learn so much from your tutorials. Thanks. I have a question. Can the character now walk (run) with the stick or is he now pinned to that spot with the stick?
+HarborsidePressLLC It's not actually attached to the character this way so you have to move the stick too... if you attach the stick to the figure you can get some strange results.

Nice tutorial! At 0:58, when you apply walk animation to Mason, he walk forward, but the position don't change. How can I make a real walk with just a few tweaks after I've done the motion puppet walk?

only 2 motion sit and leani forword

MixMoves Animation == of reallusion chaine please you can see at
timing @ you can see that there are a lot of motion i do not have

Hello, I created a scene with a character applying the same techniques, making a dummy object (box) as the target for the right hand, which is grasping an arrow. I aatached the arrow to the box but when the right hand moves the arrow stays stationary. I am using windows 10 and have had no problem to this point.
+Derwyn Golden Not sure what is going on. Make sure the arrow is attached to the box then the box to the hand.
I was thinking of getting this. Are there characters available to import for example if I wanted to do an animation with spiderman or the hulk, would it be easy to get these characters. thanks
+Zoney06 There are a lot of Super Hero type characters available plus some freebies. You may have to alter clothing or textures. I recommend you spend some time over at the City Marketplace at Reallusion to see what they have available.
Would you say Iclone is the easiest and fastest way to animate? or is there a faster software out there? I tired mocap but don't have enough space, Feel like you need a studio for it.
iClone is the easiest and fastest to me. I can't think of anything better.

Thanks for the lesson.Question for you. I downloaded Win 10 a month ago and found IClone did not work very well. So I rolled back to Win 7. Question is ,have you had any problems with IClone with Windows 10? And or has IClone adjusted for 10?

Hi. great tutorial. But when I try to do with my motions, I get new motion overridden. I did exactly how you. I dont understand where I wrong. Maybe Do I need change something in setting? I have iClone 7.1
When you are layering animation runs like this you have to mask and re-mask limbs or parts of the body that you've already animated. If you animated the hands first then you have to mask out the hands on the next run. If the run after that is the torso and head then you have to mask out the hands, torso and head for the next run and so forth. Otherwise the animations are overwritten by each run. Can you animate google sketchup models like move there arms or legs to make them walk or run?
No. For that type of movement you need something that has an internal skeleton or bones to manipulate and it must be compatible with iClone too.

Man I Hate Using Animation Presets so Much. Tell Me If Its Possible To Create Your Own Any Kind Of Animation With IClone. WIthout Using Animation Presets.
I can understand that. You can use motions as a basis for new motions by keeping what you need and then manually key framing the rest of the animation. Mocap and key framing are about the only options to presets.
Warlord, please where can I request for a cloth design. I have checked for the type in the store but cannot find it.
I don't know if this is the right place to ask, but since you are a master in iclone I am sure you will have some sort of recommendation.
