- In this video, I unboxing the Boox Note Air 3C colour eInk tablet and share my first impressions. I take a look at what comes with it, the design and build quality, and some of the key features that make the Box Air 3C stand out. If you’re thinking about getting one, this video will give you a good idea of what to expect right out of the box.

Man, I've never been so torn. I just bought a Tab Ultra (the B&W one, not the Tab Ultra C) and I already have a Bigme B751C, which is their 7" Color device.
They both have the same advantages, but it's the two screens that make me question which is better. The screen on the Tab Ultra, with no frontlight, is SO MUCH BRIGHTER than the color device. I know why that is, but I didn't think I'd be so torn between the two devices. Contrast and whitepoint on the Tab Ultra is so much better than on the color device, but the other device HAS COLOR! It's such a game breaker in the e-reader space. Comics look like comics. But because it's so naturally dark, I have to use the frontlight to comfortably view content on it. So I'm going between devices, and it's so hard to pick a favorite for me.

You are right, the box is not full of walnuts. I only use my kindle to read books and chose kindle because of Amazon's vast library. I will be interested to see what the Boox can do.

Looking forward for the upcoming review, I just ordered a Boox Go 10.3, and the general system features are the same so I believe it will be very helpful to have your point of view as a new user. (also very interested in seeing how the Kindle app works, will the NeoReader accept the books from a kindle account?)

You have to turn on the AI features for shapes and scribble eraser. And yes both use the same stylus technology called wacom.

Hey ! Thanks for this nice video. Im a scribe fan and hesitating too with the note air 3c. The only problem for me seems to be the darkness of the screen. What do u think about that in you first days of use ? And could we have your first thoughts on this device ? Thanks ! 🎉
My thoughts are coming I promise! Some initial thoughts are that yes, it’s a little darker than the Scribe I think but it’s both a deal breaker. Ghosting even after a refresh is still noticeable. There are SO MANY options and menus within menus that it can feel overwhelming. The simplicity and closed garden nature of the Scribe can be seen as a strength by comparison. In saying that, If you want to customise your device settings to a minutia degree than you’ll LOVE IT!
I don't use the default cable to charge. I use a USB-C to USB-C cable with no issue.
