Wow it looks like Tea played Dabuz hard. After the first few games he was like "ok I will play your defensive, tactical game, but throw in some hard rush down offense as a taste of what's to come." Then straight up changed tactics and went from defense to offense. It just shows the mastery of Tea he has with the character. But props to Dabuz for trying to try a strategy we don't see a lot of.

Dabuz was so lost. Like a fish out of water. I think olimar would've suffered less.
Keep in mind Tea plays Shuton ALL the time whos probably best olimar or #2 next to Dabuz. Tea knows the matchup and would probably win

@@Daniel-ui3zy shuton is definitely best olimar in the world, and with his foundamental level and knowledge of pacman, the record tea vs shuton so far is 3-9, so using olimar is probably a better choice but the core doesn't lie here.

I'm a Pacman main and I would love to see that... though I'm Mexican. XD I'll be happy with whoever wins. With Sparg0 out, I feel like the odds of Tea making it to finals increased a lot. Either way, last time, MkLeo beat tea... but by a little. By almost nothing. has Tea grown enough to get him this time? Could Tea really be the best of the world but he didn't have a chance to prove it due to Covid? Who knows, but we'll find out later today. :D
@@alangodinez5487 DONT spread rumor, Tea hasen't beaten zackray yet this year. In fact, he lost to zackray 2-3 in kagaribi 4, and had trouble with players like shuton and yoshidora, got 2 sets losing streak 1-3ed by these two in kagaribi 5 recently. JP top players know how to play against pacman far too better than other regions.

Its not that japanese players are are uniquely patient and dont mind going to time. Its that American smash players are the only subset of fighing game players ive ever seen who make a big deal about going to time
Nah i kno SFxTekken irritated people because pretty much every match went to time due to bad game design but other than that, going to time is just a thing that happens. Like breathing air or drinking water
A match times out, the dude with the most health wins, and then on to the next game. Its... Part of the game... And theres still a conclusive winner i dont know why smash players care so much about time outs
The objective is to watch high level gameplay... Why does it matter how long a match takes when most people are binging hours of content anyway

Does Dabuz not realize Tea has lost nearly every set he's ever played against Olimar? Lol It's the only character Tea hasn't really had an answer for. Tea has the 3rd highest top 8 placement rating, Dabuz won't beat Tea with skill, he will need to exploit bad character matchup if they face again.
