I just love lex. Her personality is like none other. She’s jammin and Brad is trying to pay attention to the song. It’s like this every reaction. Love you guys.
i see it as a lyrical listener and a instrumental head. Brad not as moved by the instruments but looks for the content, Lex definitely moved by the instrumental but the content can easily pass her by lol. Good dynamic for reactions really, I agree she's hilarious tho.
I love how Brad listens to the lyrics and interprets the song that way, and Lex feels the music and interprets it that way. Very different takes, but it totally works.
Yeah.. Lex is always like "I wasn't paying attention to the lyrics" when there's just lyrics going across the screen for most of their videos lol Not that I'm making fun, I love her for it. I don't watch much or any "reaction content" but sometimes when I want to listen to music I will watch "reactions" and Brad and Lex are probably the only ones I watch pretty regularly.
I'm not convinced this was a one hit wonder... it's definitely their biggest track and breakthrough track but there is a couple of other sleeper hits. I think they would have had more if their singer here hadn't died
Yall probably heard this during WWE and sporting events lol! It's Nu-Metal. Which blew up during the '90s and '00s. Basically a mixture or metal, punk, rap, alternative rock, etc.
Lex picks up the musical vibe to every song so quickly. Always moving exactly in the style of the music - the head banging, shaking, shoulder movements - always right on style whether it's metal, rock, pop, whatever. I love watching people appreciate music that they were never necessarily interested in (particularly songs I know/like), and it's always interesting to see how you, specifically, get so into this stuff.
Wouldn't even say that, they had songs on the radio from 4 different albums: 2001 (tear away, bodies), 2004 (step up), 2007 (37 stitches) and 2013 (one finger and a fist)
Always love Lex's reactions to the metal/rock songs!! She feels the music, just like us long time fans do, but it's her first time hearing it!! It's awesome to see a new fan hear the music for the first time!! Great reaction guys!! Love yall!! 😁❤
My cousin said they always blared Ministry's Just in case you didn't feel like showing up album in the apache squadron he was a pilot for during desert storm.
When I was 16 these guys did a show in my hometown kinda randomly. I didn't know who they were, but my friend talked me into going, and it was one of the most fun shows I've ever been to (also first mosh pit experience). Been a fan of this kind of music ever since.
The whole damn SINNER album = A+!!! Glad I got to see these guys twice before Dave passed. He was behind me in the beer line at one show.. My girl & I chatted him up.. He was super cool and so nice. Then they proceeded to DeStRoY the f'n place!
My experience with him was awesome also. We seen him walking away from the venue so I approached and asked him what he was up to. He said he heard there was a mall near by and was just going to hang out for awhile. Offered him a ride and he accepted. We drove around looking for mall and shooting the shit.
Y'all should make a collectible plastic figurine of the two of you sitting together ... only Brad's figure would be normal and Lex's would be a bobble head. Set it on top of thumpy speakers and it would be a pretty accurate depiction.
There was a 80 something dude that covered it on AGT. Judges and audience were freaking out when this senior was screaming “let the bodies hit the floor”. And he even did a few concerts with drowning pool too!
Not a one hit wonder. I feel they would have been HUGE had Dave stayed alive. This whole album is badass so definitely react to more off it. Tear Away is one of their best. Pity Me is a badass song. This one is about moshing.
Dave Williams had insane vocal range and could really stress out his vocal fryes. It sucks that he was only able to give us one (great) album. RIP my man. 🖤🖤🖤
LOVE the scream at the beginning! Ranks up there with Bruce Dickinson at the beginning of Number of the Beast. And the line "Driven by hate, Consumed by fear" is very poignant.
I'm an Aussie but one of my best friends is a Marine with multiple tours in the sandpit. Among his many war stories is the fact that this was one of the more important motivational soundtracks when he and his mates were embarking on patrol in hostile terrain.
Drowning Pool hailed from Texas (same as Pantera) and 'Bodies' became a huge hit in 2001, and the debut album 'Sinner' sold platinum... Drowning Pool should have been huge, but 2 setbacks hit the band early on. The 9/11 attacks got 'Bodies' and the record underpromoted... then singer Dave Williams passed away in 2002 (R.I.P. 😪) while Drowning Pool was touring (Williams had an undiagnosed heart condition) Drowning Pool opted to carry on in 2004 w/ a new singer, but their commercial fortunes never recovered... Still, Drowning Pool is still actively recording & touring w/ current singer Jasen Moreno and the original bad - C.J. Pierce (guitar), Mike Luce (drums) & Stevie Benton (bass) Drowning Pool songs to check out - 'Sinner' ... 'Tear away' ... '37 Stitches' ... 'Enemy' ... 'Step up' ... 'One finger and a fist' 🔥🔥🤘🤘
Now you gotta do Papa Roach Last Resort. Drowning pools had another song called sinners but this was the song played on every radio, television everywhere. Anywhere. Really do miss their music ☹️
I love that Lex has discovered seemingly through this channels exploration that she is in fact, a metalhead. She loves this shit. You can NOT keep this girls spunk and excitement down when she's discovering these songs, even when Brad clearly isn't feeling a lot of it. Hey man different strokes for different folks. I hope she has made a whole new playlist and has become a fan of so many of these bands and songs that seem to just make her feel so alive!!!
Brad- Listening to the bass and taking in the lyrics to all songs presented, Lex- Feeling the groove in all parts of the songs (lead, rhythm, Vocals) and focusing on the groove not caring too much about the message. Pure vibe. Contrasting sampling by each and funny as all get out. LMAO very entertaining.
This song is the numetal "Bust A Move". Funny that Lex likes this and thinks Bust A Move is simple. Even funnier that you guys did them so close together....
This was the Warriors Anthem at the beginning of the Iraq invasion. These baby faced warriors went into war jamming to this song. Many military themed videos that UA-camrs made with this as the soundtrack. SEMPER FI

It helps for sure. But I think a lot of newer very successful, and great bands now don't ever get heard on the radio. Jinjer is a good example.
This is one of those Nu-Metal songs that found itself in the subgenre known as "wrasslin' metal". I can't hear it without thoughts of chair shots and broken tables dancing through my mind.
That first album is great it’s too bad the lead singer died so young and they had to keep getting new leads tho tear away was a hit too of theirs from this album

The timing here is perfect. Was just reading a meme posing the question "What if Drowning Pool's "Bodies" and The Weather Girls' "It's Raining Men" are the same event but form different perspectives."

It’s soooo genuine
Omg yes!
Normally colored women are very unattractive but she’s actually very cute.
I got to sing the last verse of this song live in Baton Rouge LA. He handed me the mic and walked away as I sang!! It was epic.

All the singles off that 1st album were solid. "Sinner" and "Tear Away" IIRC. Great songs.
@@DonteKeys yeah, the first singer off the second album was everywhere at one point too

Lex you smashed it. My first time hearing this song and your reaction matched mine. An absolute banging tune.
All Over Me was a hit too off the same album. The original singer died right after this album dropped and it killed the band.
Lex is like a music mood ring. Which could classify this as dangerous.
