Someone pointed me to this video, and I'd just like to mention that the 200% from C2 can get watered down by other damage bonuses that you may have on your character (like set effects and your goblet main stat), so it is quite important to show your stats when doing such showcases, since that can change the end result by quite a lot.
I have him at C2 and C6 faruzan. From the calculations on genshin optimizer, C2 will basically just doubled his burst damage compared to C0/1 and the damage drop off isn't that significant.
@@kaivenh Since you say it "doubled" (as opposed to "tripled" which is what 200% would do if you had no damage bonuses to start with), then the effectiveness of the 200% was halved and I can safely guess you have around 100% damage bonuses from other sources. On a thread over on reddit, there is a guy with 200% damage bonuses, and the effectiveness of their 200% falls down to 66.7%, but then there was another person in the thread that kept claiming C2 was what allowed the post owner to "triple" the damage (when in reallity it was only a x1.667 multiplier, not x3). That's why it is important to show your stats and buffs, because in cases like these, your other damage bonuses matter a lot.
@@brblowgames9251 Well yeah, double as in with all the standard supports for hyper team. imo x 1.66 seems a bit extreme because even with widsith aria buff which gave 96% elem buff compared to the %20 from lost prayer i think i still had around a x2 increase unless I did something wrong (another way to increase Q dmg would be noblesse which is wild to me). Watering down the buff to only 66.7 just tells me that something in the build is not right. Wanderer’s burst shouldn’t be buffed to that extent, because his E is what deals the most damage within one rotation. I guess in taser teams, his C2 buff would be close to triple his Q without any buffers, but in that case, his damage becomes insignificant so that the buff from C2 becomes meh.
I just tested it and I can confirm; 1 time raw and 1 time using up the points with dashes first No buffs on either and 61% dmg bonus from artifacts: Raw on the ground was 13k per hit In the air with points used up was 30k per hit So not a full 200% and my points were almost gone. Currently there's very little burst dmg bonus buffs to add though. The only significant buff would be faruzan's anemo dmg bonus which also isnt that big, so it matters very little luckily, unless if you're on widsith ofcourse then you're gonna feel it 1/3rd of the time.
@@calvin659Your interpretation of the passive would be correct, if it was stated as an increase TO 200%, but instead the passive is written as an increase BY 200%. Secondly, all applicable sources off DMG bonuses are additive so while anemo DMG bonuses and burst DMG bonuses are applied in different situations, both of them are applied to Kyougen: Five Ceremonial Plays base DMG, since it is a burst that deals anemo DMG
I mean, if you watched the video. The 40% dmg is not that great. It deals 1.5k anemo dmg (rewatch the video). The other thing that makes it good is that it is considered normal attack so it procs his passive faster

dont run freeze team on scara the dps value just really low unless youre on mobile and doing abyss shit or you have mona with rosaria, overally lost prayer on him is good
C0-C1 wanderer you dont need to use your burst as it is just an overall dps loss C2-C5 Wanderer you need to burst at the end of your skill for maximum damage. C6 Wanderer you should not be dashing or charge attacking.Just Normal Atk with a Thoma/Zhongli shield
I don’t know for sure, but on paper his weapon refinements look insanely good. If we compare r1 to r5 it’s about 30-35% dmg increase (if u have his dedicated artifact set and c1, if not it’s even more)

Use rosaria, she buffs crit, is cryo so you can trigger crit ascension passive as well.

I don’t know for sure, but on paper his weapon refinements look insanely good. If we compare r1 to r5 it’s about 30-35% dmg increase (if u have his dedicated artifact set and c1, if not it’s even more)
