Pina Bausch is a legendary dancer and choreographer. Her unique creations transformed the language of dance and offer a visual experience like no other.
This revolutionary 3D film PINA from director Wim Wenders captures the aesthetic of Pina Bausch's greatest works in a thrilling way.
I always wanted to something with the marvellous work of Bausch and the way she played with words in her works. So I chose to use ASCII letter charachters to try represent this idea.
It is my tribute to one of the greatest poet in dance. Make sure to take some time looking at some of her work, the film Pina is a great start for you to discover her.

Pina is a feature-length dance film in 3D with the ensemble of the Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch, featuring the unique and inspiring art of the great German choreographer, who died in the summer of 2009.
He takes the audience on a sensual, visually stunning journey of discovery into a new dimension: straight onto the stage with the legendary Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch ensemble, he follows the dancers out of the theatre into the city and the surrounding areas of Wuppertal - the place, which for 35 years was the home and centre for Pina Bausch's creativity.
