Love the attention to detail for honest comparisons👍
I like these videos. Keep em coming Complete Street Performance!!!!!
Hes still getting socks from the sock man till this day.
The way you are testing,is what i dreamed of 20 years ago, glad you are doing it.
Uhmm...nice video but i was hopping for the rest: tune, headers...any updates?
These videos are great. We needed something like this showing real world gains in mods.
More vids like this. These mod comparisons are pretty cool
Hey I was an original hater for what Nick done to Andy, but I have to keep just absolutely applauding this logical progression of baselining and modifying cars in a linear progression like most people would. Then quantifying the results before and after tuning....just add in some track difference and absolutely perfect....awesome content....how I've always wanted it... thanks.....keep it up....
I tossed a roto Fab on my 2017 ZL1 and I've been wondering what kind of gains they got....thanks dude!
Big fan of these dyno videos. We the people, in order to form a more powerful car, deserve how to know what power can be made with what products. Preferably, what power can be made with money. I be poor folk.
ANDREW ! YOU ARE MY IDOL ! keep up the good work love the personality and I now order parts for my cts v online from csp
Soooo much more blower whine with the RotoFab. Sooo nice
Your shop is legit
love these tests. moar!
I love the V3, that corsa exhaust sounds so good too! Like the comparison video.
Amazing how restrictive the factory intake is. Great comparison.
levelcruiser Not easy to make a box support over 1k CFM. That and these gains will be halved or more once the hood is shut. That filter will not have the same access to air as hood up.
Man they should put that digital display in the Camaro ZL1! The one negative I have with my ZL1.
Nice. Is a tune require
Caveman hair bro. Will it catch on? ,new nick name "the caveman"
Cool comparison video, to bad the V isn't getting a cam to show how that helps.
whats your thoughts on the standard Rotofab vs the big gulp on the stock CTSv? Think you will see a lot more gain like you did on your ZL1?
Love these vids
Just what iwas looking for 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I'm not sure about the fohawk but the car is cool😁
Hell ya
Can’t wait to have my 18 Z in there! It’d be cool to get some clips of my car or be a “featured build” even if it is worthy enough! (Btw I don’t use my real name on UA-cam account; however same initials). Love these videos and hurry on Andrew’s ZL1 video because this next one should be the exact setup I’m doing!!! Can’t wait to see what it puts down, hope my LT4 is just as strong!
Hey guys can you make a video of everybody's cars
Don't know if you all have tested it or not, but for a FBO car with the 103TB and ported blower. Have there been significant gains switching over to the Big Gulp version? Currently running the 1st RotoFab in my V3.
Where's the tune results after this video??😔
Are there videos after the tune and headers?
Is this the “Big Gulp” version intake?
Outstanding job on this video and comparison with the air intake. Doing these types of videos help us average people get started with our projects which in return works out to when we get to come to a shop like yours, cuts our bill down some.
What hp that cts-v gen3 did with the headers.
Would an oiled filter work better than a dry air filter ? Or which one would be best if you can please respond thank you
Been debating on headers snd seeing if its actually worth it. Have Stainless Works mufflers right now from Billy Boat that maintains the electronic valve to keep it slightly tamed in touring mode. My question "even before the tune, are there any noticeacle gains because Cadillac did a decent job with the stock Manifolds? Seen some people say that most of the power comes from CatBack specifically for this car, but personally all of my other LSx vehicles has Headers and etc on them all. Last but not least, for this car in particular. Are all the headers created equal as far as fitment and hp unlike some of the earlier LS cars? Looking into Speed Engineerig 1st due to prices "heard the fitment is nice as well", Stainless Works, Billy Boat, ARH and then Kooks. If there's any information you could give, it would be greatly appreciated. Wish I was close enough to bring it in.
Last but not least, if I was to do the Kong or Jokerz ported blower and snout, would there be a need for headers if for some strange reason I decide not to get them? Trying to keep it Florida Stock basically.
is the rotofab cold air intake better than the K&N?
Great video
Nice!! Great car!!
Andrew, I have heard that over a little time the computer will eventually reduce the gains. Is this true? I am going to put one on my 18 ZL1 and am not tuning because of the warranty.
Would be nice to see hood closed . Not hood open glory dyno run lol .
I've been a long time Subscriber, watched when the Rotofab intake was installed on the CTS V3. What happened to completing the rest of the mods. That's the same build I'm trying to do with mine and wanted to see the real world numbers once you all was done. Only thing different I wanted to do is either keep the stock mufflers with Kooks headers, but the Corsas sound so good "one reason why I wanted to see the update. I could be overlooking it though, so if you don't mind. Would you give me a rundown of the car and the power gains it made after each mod before and after tune? Thanks it'll mean a lot. Want this to be my only sleeper per say that the motor haven't been dug into uneccesarly or should I say just enough to stay ahead of the Hellcat guys and when GM crime happens to beat stock Z06s & ZL1s counterparts!!
First one to watch this awesome video
Heat Soak, hum. I did not know of this term or what it di
Does. There is no remedy preventing that? That is just the physics of any automobile?
Heat soak can be countered big time by an interchiller, which uses the AC system to cool the blower setup, and spacer plates to minimize the heat transfer from engine to blower
Thank you again !Andrew...I hope I can get the one like the Caddy with no modding it...Do exhaust and/or headers void warranty?
don boggs How the car is right now (corsa mufflers and intake without a tune) doesn’t void the warranty. Once he puts the headers on he will also need to tune and that is apparently what voids the warranty, is the tune.
Jeff Borrows Thank you Jeff!
CSP does installation of their products, correct?
Yes we do. But we sell what we believe works. Not stuff that we know doesn't.
@@completestreetperformance i want to go down this street. With those same upgrades and kong can we talk about this?
V3>Z06 c7
Now close the hood and dyno..... HOT AIR INTAKE..... GUARANTEED TO LOSE POWER OVER STOCK....
We tested, still gained a bit of power. Was like 16 hood closed over stock vs 20 hood open
@@completestreetperformance Thank you for doing this. You think this is the best intake for the Gen 3 V?
Gosh, I hate videos with the stupid distractions.
