@@HarveyTheNoob97 there is an easy way: just change the button in game from "hold" to "quick press" then add a normal press to the stream deck hotkeys.
Using the Stream Deck has been amazing for a month now. Recently the game started crashing a lot, so I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it. Since doing so The Stratagem Stream Deck strat has stopped working. Any thoughts on why and/or how to fix this issue? Thanks you.
Hello pal, did you rebind the stratagem hotkeys when you reinstalled? I have reinstalled recently and not had any issues. Please let me know if you find a solution
Hey, Harvey. All right. What a crazy week. After trying different fixes from Reddit to Google my problem has been fixed. My friend found the winning solution. This is what he sent me: “If you are launching the game from the taskbar, you should be able to right click the icon, right click the program name, click properties, click advanced and uncheck the Run as Administrator box.” This fixed it - I can once again call in Stratagems quickly from my Stream Deck. I hope this helps others. @@HarveyTheNoob97
why not just have the stream deck press the stratagem menu too? set you stratagem menu to press instead of hold, have the stream deck press that button, enter the sequence...instant stratagems
Well, i had the same idea, but for some reason i cant use my Streadeck in Helldiver, the macros of it works in any other game except this one, i could use on my keybord but the ones from my streamdeck just doesnt do anything
@@HarveyTheNoob97 I've figured it out! I was getting over-zealous and trying to put in the CTRL at the start of the combo (I had swapped it from HOLD to PRESS). Swapped the stratagem key back to HOLD, remapped my input keys for it to the Arrow Keys... and now the macros work 100% of the time every time! Thanks for spurring my curiousity so I'd experiment with this more.
In the link with the icons has a profile ready .Turn the " open stratagem" to "tap" and you are ready. Open the profile in your stream deck ,rename it if want,move whatever you want with copy paste .You havent to do anything else😉
I have heard something about the anti cheat engine blocking macros however that shouldn't stop the stream deck. If I read anything about it, I'll reply again 😁

I used the icue plugin to use icue macros over the native stream deck multi action. They can be called much faster. Either way Stream Deck is awesome
I don't have a stream deck but I do have an old school Razar Tartarus, so I'm gonna be makin some macros.

does this work if you're playing on a PC? or do you need the steam deck console?
Also add the button which you binded stratagem menu to. This way it is only a 1 button press

How bizarre!? Helldivers has had a few broken updates, hopefully that is the reason for your problems
Every time I try to set these up, the key strokes never make it into the game client... any tips on that front?

Yes, keys rebound to arrows. It is like the hotkeys never get passed to the game client. Are you running your Stream Deck software as Admin? Or no?

Got the same it seems. I am using the G-keys on my corsair keyboard tho.
Run the Stream Deck program always as admin mode, that should work.
