Found your channel yesterday and think I've already almost watched them all! You're an inspiration for all the young women out there, actually to some of us not quite so young men as well. Your enthusiasm and zest for life is very uplifting, think you should be on the TV. Would love to see a video of you making your jewellery and managing to do your etsy work in the van. Fellow shop owner here too! All the best and keep smiling
Oh wow thank you so much Andy. What's yours shop called? I'd love to have a look! And actually yes, that's actually a great video suggestion gonna keep it in mind
That wasn't for a plug of my shop by the way! I make laser engraved gifts, wooden guest books mainly :) I love etsy, although a shame they announced putting their fees up yesterday www.etsy.com/uk/shop/craftyartyfox And yes would enjoy that video, looking forward to seeing many more. I felt very mean when I laughed at your escaped canoe, that looked frrrreeeezing!
Yes it's starting in a months time, upping the transaction fee from 3.5% to 5%, but now its also going to be on postage costs too. And going to add vat to the processing 4% too. It's a bit sneaky, going to hit sellers that sell abroad especially hard. I've done a little spreadsheet to work out the difference if you want. Just overtype the price of the item and the p&p price docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1itojC3GDuAo3vOo-By0pxH470KWMW_LxylBx3lo5hPM/edit#gid=0
Europe in a single package, very impressed by your language and cooking skills; it's a joy to watch the simple life during my lunch break. Take care, Marina
I make banana pancakes with 3 or 4 ingredients. Mash 1 banana. Crack in one egg. Mix until combined. Then add flour until looks right/like normal pancake mix. If wanted add sprinkle of cinnamon. Cook kinda low be careful not to burn as does so easy. That's it. Se the with mapl3 syrup on top if wanted otherwise whatever else you want on pancakes.
Thank you so much for sharing this recipe!! I tried them with olive oil and water, they are so so sooo yummy. So cool they are also vegan. I am surprised! Thanks again. All the best for you!
Hi Marina, this is one of my favorite videos of you and Odie. It looks so cozy as you two are sitting there in the van and Odies comments are so brilliant, love it . Hugs to you from Britta fom Germany
I will definitely try your recipe next time I'm in the van; One thing you have to consider though: honey is even better than maple syrup 😉 , I always have a jar in the van(I even use a teaspoonful when making tomato sauce)...and maybe some pecan nuts to top it all...😋
Those pancakes looked perfect , I love those things but had no idea how to cook them . THANK YOU . Tonight im going to try and do them and I do have maple syrup. Great video and lovely scenery
pamthevan ah well yours definitely looked better think mine was too creamy in texture but the maple syrup saved the day . So I shall perfect this and maybe one day if I see you on the road , I will cook for you pancakes .
Completely by coincidence, this morning I had pancakes with maple syrup and banana. Wow, they were good! Mine came from a cafe. Now I've seen yours, I might have a go at making my own. Loving your Scottish diaries.
The next time you run out of syrup, try a fruit syrup. Most recipes call for fruit, sugar, and water. I make one that uses canned peaches, butter (coconut oil might work), and brown sugar.
Mmm, those pancakes looked delicious! If you’re missing maple syrup, then butter mixed with a bit of sugar works surprisingly well! We say ‘thick’ not ‘tough’ for liquids, and never use ‘discharge’ as it has a very different, medical meaning 😄. ‘Battery has gone down to 40%’ or ‘battery is uncharged’ if it’s empty 😊. Love the way Odie likes to supervise you when you are cooking - of course he doesn’t want to wait outside and miss all the action, especially when food smells are involved! You have him very well trained not to gobble up whatever food items are within reach - my Misha would never be able to control himself like that! 😄 Hope your battery survives and thanks for another lovely vlog - what an incredibly lovely view you had - I would love to see some more footage of you and Odie playing together some time! He seems like such a wonderful dog!! 😊 xxx
You are right Tabitha about the thick bit, I was correcting myself while editing the video! And I didn't know about "discharge" hah you learn something new every day I guess :D Yes Odie is actually super well trained but in all honesty I can't take the merit as he was already super well behaved when I got him. I guess those are the advantages of getting an older dog instead of a pup!
my God those pancakes looked good. I might even have a go at cooking some !! you can revive the leisure battery with a smart charger that will "zap" it back into life . only works if the battery hasn't been completely killed though !!!
I have been binge watching your videos :) I have few queries and suggestions Instead of maple syrup you can try honey as well . Not sure if it is pricey or not readily available at your place. Love that you use coconut oil for cooking. People here in Kerala use coconut oil for skin moisturiser, hair care and whole bunch of purposes . Also have you heard about induction stove? Why not use them instead of gas stoves. I am not sure if induction stove draw Iot of electricity from battery. Also some foldable/ portable solar panels would be great addition to the van Keep uploading vlogs whenever possible!
When visiting my grandparents in North Carolina, my sweet grandmother would make pancakes every morning. What a treat it was! And then I would fill my pockets with her biscuits and go out to play in the woods. What a nice person my grandmother.
@@WildSheGoes Hi Marina, We just rode from teesside to Oban, then onto Malaic and back on our motorbikes 28-29-30 last month. We rode to Malaic on the 29th and back through Fort William 29th pm. It was horrible wet windy weather (but 😉) i still loved it. Bonnie Scotland not know for its sunshine but still has stunning scenery. 👍👍 keep up the good work.
Another fab glimpse of life on the road. If you fancy a book or two to read , whilst near Fort William, try Outlander. It is the story of a young woman who touches some standing stones, at a sacred site, and falls thro time to 1745. She is in the same spot, in the same dress just 200+ years earlier during turbulent times in the Highlands of Scotland. I travelled some in my van and loved losing myself in a good book. The pancakes looked delicious, perhaps get some maple syrup. How about Odie, what does he think of a pancake snack? Happy travels, Bill
Ralph Raffles thank you Bill for that book suggestion, I'm gonna make a little post it to remind me it sounds like something I'd like to read. Oh Odie loves pancakes but there's a little too much sugar for him in it (this is my excuse so I can have them all for myself)
O that its Nice i like also pankacs and i have also on dog from Spain and i live now 17 years on my caravan and some times i say to the people that my dog is my parent and on India you can merried whit your dog but i say to you bonapetit and thank for all your lovely video,s i like them you talk relaxst and you are looking good and have on Nice dog bay bay 🐶 🦋 🌸👋
Hi Irene! Odie will be 11 this year, and you can find the link to the online store on the description box or type makenaontheroad on google. You should be able to find me :)
Beautiful countryside, you sure know how-and where to pick your spots. If you have no maple sirup, a bit of honey, if you have that, isn't the same, but definitely healthier than sugar. I was happy that I'd finished eating before I watched your pancake video, if not I could have ruined my keyboard while watching, as I could almost taste them through the screen of my laptop.
I enjoyed your video. I think I will gives these a try. If your wanting to eat healthy you might want to research soy, and switch to coconut milk. Thanks for sharing the recipe. :-)

you are allowed to laugh at my misfortunes. What? Didn't know Etsy rised their fees! dammit, gonna check now

OMG! She made me laugh! Love watching her video! Very entertaining!
I love this way of life and hope to one day have a van of my own. Praying all is well x
Odie is a very good supervisor. I never thought of putting the banana actually into the pancake mix before. I Must try it.
Logotha Ironsides you really do its a perfect combo
Those pancakes looked perfect , I love those things but had no idea how to cook them . THANK YOU . Tonight im going to try and do them and I do have maple syrup. Great video and lovely scenery

Hey Marina, although the view is lovely Odie is the best view still, soo cute watching you cook. Haha more cooking videos when you've time please!
Great video, thanks Marina
These pancakes look amazing!!!!!
Loving your videos! I put peanut butter on my pancakes when I'm out of syrup. It works! Lol
Completely by coincidence, this morning I had pancakes with maple syrup and banana. Wow, they were good! Mine came from a cafe. Now I've seen yours, I might have a go at making my own. Loving your Scottish diaries.
Hermoso lugar Pam, cada vez mas encantadores tus vídeos.
Those pancakes did look delicious.
I have to try this tomorrow ! Looks great ! You're beautiful but love the dog !

Breakfast at your place, LOL😂 What a beautiful view 👍😎
Rhrrrrr..diabolique Pam. Des pancakes a la banane..huuumm. Tres agreables musiques de fond.

U can melt the palm sugar and get a good syrup for the pancakes..
my God those pancakes looked good. I might even have a go at cooking some !! you can revive the leisure battery with a smart charger that will "zap" it back into life . only works if the battery hasn't been completely killed though !!!
I’m about four years late, but you made me want to get up and make pancakes. Poor girl, no maple syrup! 😫. I have a no oil vegan recipe that I love.
I have been binge watching your videos :)

Not sure if you like peanut butter but those pancakes would be incredible with some on them.
I wish some tv company would give you your own tv series..... it would be an instant success.......
I bet your dog thinks you are insane. You are clearly talking to someone other than him... yet, there is no one else there.
LOL! Very good point. Poor dog...
Some people talked to themselves is very common.. nothing wrong with that... we've human's after all.
I wonder if you could heat the sugar with the soy milk to make some kind of caramel sauce next time you're in a pinch
Butter icing sugar and lemon juice the only way
Odie needs a chefs hat :)
I love Oddy/Oddie❤😍
Omg I laughed so much at Oddie's captions (I hope I spelled his name right 😂😂). Love youu and your videooos :) 😍😍

When visiting my grandparents in North Carolina, my sweet grandmother would make pancakes every morning. What a treat it was! And then I would fill my pockets with her biscuits and go out to play in the woods. What a nice person my grandmother.
I had to pause this video and go fry me some Blueberry pancakes!
Oh no! The battery was as flat as a pancake😁. Lovely scenery

Hey what does Odie eat?..maybe a vlog about it..
Hummmmmm ! Miam ! I want one !!
Could be a tv series, a double act. Cooking in a van ;-) you need a solar panel to compliment your split charging system.
Night Wolf that's true I'm seriously considering it!
Hi I am really enjoying your videos
I love your videos :)
Logistics are hard while cooking in a van haha xD. Looks delicious :D
ThousandTimesBefore it takes some planning especially if you have a dog that's what's to go in, then out, then in .... 😂
pamthevan And dog hair probably ends up in the food, anyway xD
Who doesn’t like dogs?!? Let me at them! 🤭😊👋🏼
When are you getting a dog Scott?:)
pamthevan I can barely take care of myself 🙂
I will try it , mmmmmhhhhhh !!!
You are the female version of Adventurevanman, two great vanlife channels

You , my dear , are beautiful. Thank you. Sincerely.

Series Outlander is on Amazon I believe but now I’m going to read the books!!
Odie has long eye lashes. .just like my Maltese. Do you trim them if they start to bother him?
Is that something people do? I don't think Odie would ever allow me to do that! 😁😁😁
Question: Do you mean Pam..cakes?!! Let’s be honest, that’s pretty good even for me.
Pfaaahahahaa it is. Well done Mark
Thank you.You’re welcome.smiley emoji.

The music is nerve wrecking lol ouch 🤕
Love Odie 🙏🏼💞🐾💙
Some one looks through hole in roof at minutes in ???

Coconut oil may not be so good for your health.
6 minutes in

Unfortunately vegan 😒
