name dropping in graphic design is a thing too that def can help you get a job, even doing a bit of research into the education of people working on a project can help because you never know if people at a potential job went to the same school and had the same tutors. simple CVs are the best, facts only and too the point
Hellz yeah, I think this is awesome advice for those who want to hop into the animation/art industry, weirdly enough I did know of these and somehow got in so I've no idea what I did right but was just being myself, I guess that was enough lol keep up the great work and stay awesome😁✌
I never got trough interview in my life, all jobs my jobs was trough recommendations, I dont think most even saw my reel. Interviews always seem like date when one person just really dont like another and only went for some arbitrary reason and expect them to somehow do like entertaining shit. Im here to do work for the gods sake, why are we wasting time not working, deadline near the corner.
Woo! I'm early enough this time! I love your videos and especially on your art. I'm still at least a year away from applying as I haven't even finished my first year of animation in college (2nd year, as I skipped the first due to my Illustration portfolio), but I am doing a shit ton of research to prepare my skills and portfolio appropriately.
Thank you and np!! You can check out saltyanimators on Instagram and they have different spreadsheets on their story highlights for things like animation, vfx, etc
its 11pm im literally in the shower rn and i was looking for one of ur vids to listen to then i just realized u JUST uploaded a new one lol idk why im sharing i just thought it was kinda silly orzz

Really useful advice here! Esp the bit about asking interviewees useful and specific questions.

10:18 That makes me think of the fight scenes in Family Guy. Those are always super good.
The only reason I clicked on this was because it had cute cats on it lol
Do you make your comics with animation assist? Using different frames as the pages or just switching layers?
I use the Page assist button, but funny enough my video next week will talk more about that! x'D
