Many hadiths have changed the last 15 years, I remember studying about the hadiths of Mahdi and Dajjal back 15 years ago, but lately we have new Imams talking about hadiths I never heard about before, and they even contradict the hadiths I studied before, there is something fishy going on...
To be honest my friend, I have been paying attention to this for a long time.. Every time the world of West Asia is in turmoil, especially since the collapse of The WTC & the appearance of Osama Bin Laden, a version of the hadith about The End of Time appears, especially in relation to The Dajjal, Al-Mahdi & 'Isa Al-Masih or The Messiah.. You will see that those who bring this message will try to interpret the hadiths in accordance with the upheaval that occurred & finally destruction after destruction hit The Muslim countries affected by the conflict creating millions of refugees all over the world.. Didn't Muhammad (pbuh) has stated that whoever lies in his name intentionally resulting from the act of writing & disseminating forbidden speech other than The Qur'an will receive The Fire of Hell in return..? Perhaps we can look at this aspect & compare it with what happens in most Islamic countries which are in turmoil where it stems from disagreements & enmity with each other either from the point of view of power struggle, religious understanding or to protect the interests of a certain group..
