#9! Oh boy I'm gonna have some fun with that one. You've been asking for feedback lately - this was a refreshing departure from other videos. Keep changing things up and thanks for the fun, insightful tips. Glad you are using the stop command. Such a fun one with illustration prompts
@@FutureTechPilot Since I use more than one site or software, it kept confusing me, even after using Midjourney for a long time! Just what you said, you get out of the flow looking for it and then having to manually press the enter-key. Like we are back in the middle ages or something. Ringing a bell to open the door to the castle, haha.
I'm not very experienced with Midjourney but being a photographer, I want to learn more & more . These were great tips, I especially loved " Silverpoint " I cannot wait to try it. Thank you so much for these amazing tips
18 pieces of awesome-ness! About upscaling... so can you upscale infinitely? The process would be: #1 take an image and upload it to the editor #2 make a tiny edit #3 scale to gallery #4 take the image from gallery and upload it to the editor #5 go to step #2
no this won´t work, as the upscale size is limited :) Also a tiny problem could be, when using images you worked outside of MJ (for example recently as i created some fictious action figures of a client and used adobe to generate a lot of extra details, specially with text etc), these details will disappear when uploading in the external editor and upscaling again. 1st the image you upload in the editor then will be output as a small image (if not upscaled) - when upscaled the image is losing these specific details. and if you look very closely, images upscaled in the editor have a very subtle blurred look. But I´m also really picky, haha :D
Can you please create an image editor tutorial that shows how to change the background for multiple products at once, such as a matching set from the same brand, like a toaster and a kettle?
stumbled across paradolia last halloween 😎 - made for some funny images in MJ 5.(whatever version we were on at the time) Random retexture is a cool idea!
Thanks for all of your great tips! Out of curiosity, how quickly do you go through your fast hours in a month, and do you buy more when they run out or do you suck it up and wait your turn? I ask because I tend to burn through my fast hours within the first week, and I'm wondering if that's normal.
These Tips videos are very helpful! Question: How can I create a reusable sref code from my image (like the ones found on the sref code library sites)?
Great tips Nolan. Here's a pretty cool prompt you may like. (SUBJECT) in Androgynous Simurgh fashion, miserabilism, by Jeanne Mammen, by Bernard Buffet, by Hopare, watercolor, highly detailed, photorealistic, street art, graffiti. For clothes / fashion it's so cool, street punk too. And I'm sure you if you play around with the style ref and chaos you'll take it to another level. Regards, Steve
Love the tips. I think it's funny how differently people work. I find that reaching for my mouse takes me out of flow state. I've left several feature requests asking for hotkeys for ALL THE THINGS. that way we can like/hide/delete from inside the image and not lose our place as we need to jump in and out of gallery/image view. I use a streamdeck and i find having to move to my mouse slows me down and takes me out of flow.
3:59 another one: Why in the world would every single parameter need a vastly different min and max strength (when it comes to perceived potency).. why not make them all go from 0 (not noticeable) to 100 (very strong) so i can use each and every parameter like i would use percentages. No need to have a whole encyclopedia of different parameter sensitivities in my head at all times.
3:58 hey can you forward a request for me? After generating something, adjusting the prompt settings should result in changing the existing parameters in the prompt box! This is such a no brainer. Like right now if you generated something with lets say "--stylize 250" in the prompt field and you want to try "--stylize 100", you will have to manually select it and delete it so that the newly set parameters in the prompt settings will take that place. This is ridiculous. Generally the whole messy parameter thing is absurd and far inferior to sliders.
I agree that part is a little frustrating for sure! And I know the whole prompt/settings part of the website is on their to-do list, so maybe they'll get to that one day!
Thank you for all those tips. I just started using MidJourney and I'm loving it!
haha I'm glad to hear that!

No, no code, but you can use the image itself as a style reference and it will work pretty well!

You gotta click on the settings for it to pop up
@FutureTechPilot you mean the parameters settings? I tried, nothing showed up.
