Stunning! Fascinating to see the project develop - thanks for sharing.
My favourite table so far ,what an amazing slab of wood wow
love the sculpted epoxy edges . Top work
Doorway between workshop and resin room is a game changer for big project's like this.
It really is a game changer and in fact the fact that my son went to work full time now I knew this table had been ordered and those doors were the only way I could Make it, So in fact it was this particular table that drove me to make the door way:) And now I can’t imagine life without it the resin room is also become a perfect place for glue ups that flat out the way
Spectacular!!!
Awesome love the colours in it
As always superb work. The legs go perfectly too
Beautiful work Andy, as always quality craftsmanship. Thanks for sharing. *Chris*
Nice watching others work, having just quit for the day from my 5am start..
I use resin a bit but mainly to ensure that a piece of timber, that might otherwise be cut up, can be used in all its beauty. But sometimes, resin can appear brash and clash with the timber rather than complement. This is perhaps the first time I have seen resin raise the beauty of the wood. It’s an aesthetic that I would happily pay money for. I know it’s all personal taste but, for me, that table is the best hybrid I have seen . Very good job
Nice. Super interesting to see all the things you've set up to be able to process large slabs
My favourite of all your creations. A work of art.
Me too
Excelente trabajo, maestro👍
Serious work! looks fantastic!
Hi Andy
Like all the other comments reference this build, I love it too.
The grain with it’s waves waves makes this build stand out more for me.
I watch all the videos you post, shop talk etc and really look forward to your posts.
I only subscribe to 4, what I would call true craftsmen on you tube, one is obviously yourself.
Keep up the truly inspirational work that you do and keep making lots of people very happy.
Cheers and stay safe.
I love this comment thank you so much I really appreciate your support what a great start to my weekend cheers mate

Best looking table. Well done mate
Thank you really appreciate your comment
Lovely
Very very nice !!
Another stunning piece !The resin color really compliments the wood,i especially like the organic edges you have sculpted with the angle grinder, lots of dust!Top job on the legs too, very cool.
Nice one mate👍
Love it
Wow - that's an absolute beast of a table! So often videos make the process look too easy but in this one you've really brought out the amount of hard graft that goes into producing furniture at this level. Top class stuff guys!
Thanks a lot I really appreciate that I took a lot of time editing this video to try and show without high speed each stage of the process mixing resident bucket and pouring it is just a beginning of a piece like this :)
Andy, That's absolutely beautiful and I wish it was mine! I just finished one chestnut end table. I wish that I was talented enough to have attempted a better style leg. Being from Massachusetts I found a cast iron co. That the company and Massachusetts was stamped on it. It's very difficult funding chestnut here. Mine came from removal of a chimney at the base. I've got one more to finish ended up 5 1/2" x 54"x, 20" Thanks for sharing with us all!
Complimenti un gran bel tavolo, oggi devo congratularmi sopratutto per la base, molto bello il suo disegno e ben realizzato, quindi faccio i miei complimenti anche a tuo figlio.
Un saluto dall'Italia ciao
Very beautiful and great job making it!!
Enjoyed your video and gave it a Thumbs Up
Thank you I appreciate it
@@ManorWood You're welcome

nice setup for you sled router
huge piece
👍
Fabulous piece! From one UK resin woodworker to another :) Would love to operate on a scale like yours, but making do with a home workshop for the moment. Been watching your videos for a while now, but finally decided to say hi! :)
Hello
Looks the dogs nuts bud 🤛
Did the customer's house have a loading dock & forklift? Beautiful and what a beast! A video of you delivering it?
She had workmen there it took four of us to get it in the house:)
As usual, the attention to detail is only exceeded by the craftsmanship! Have you ever considered disease control? Obviously, you would be an expert shortly! Thanks as always for sharing. NO ONE MATCHES YOUR GREATNESS!!!
Cheers mark what a lovely way to start my weekend
Beautiful work. What do you use on your angle grinder to shape the sides? And then what grit do you sand the sides to?
Great looking table! I have a question about wood movement across the grain. Does the way you fastened the legs allow fore some movement or will the legs flex a bit? Thanks Keep making these.
This is a big slab 70 mm finished in thickness it was cut down in the 80s and been stored for all those years that is very minimal movement it’s in the UK that is a bit of a UA-cam thing is talking about movement and I have done a video on it
Absolutely amazing table there. I’m thinking of doing a river table diy project and was wondering where you get your epoxy from? Thanks in advance 👍🏼
GlassCast 50
When would you consider a c-track to stabilize a top like this, or is it not necessary after a certain thickness?
At this thickness and moisture content it’s not a problem
excellent job!! a question, what material do you use for the resin mold?
It’s polypropylene check out my playlist on how to work with resin everything you need is there with links
Where did you get the material for your router set and that hold your motor. Do fantastic work very impressed.🇨🇦
Did you also flatten the underside on the router planer?
Yep
Really nice natural table. What product are you spraying on the metal legs?
Thanks a lot it’s a bit of a secret recipe the copper Bronze effect I make but the finish overall is actually a sprayable hard wax all the same I use on the furniture
Pretty serious table that mate. Really nice. Love the leg arrangement.
Hi Beautiful piece 👌🏼 Amazing work. Where did you buy your Gem sander? Seem difficult to buy in the uk!?
Cheers
Cheers , bought it about 15 years ago can’t remember
What is that tool you're using at 44s to 51s?
Тебе помощники, единомышленники нужны я с семьёй с радостью
0.47 what kind of tools is it?
Hi Andy ,
Great slab I'm so this has nothing to with this project but im really interested in buying the ruwi ajustable lift table. Do you deal with ruwi directly or is there an outlet you use
Kind regards
Chris
I did , not sure they sell direct anymore Felder also stock there stuff or ask them
Curious to know which router bit you use for surfacing the slab.
It’s a Titman bit I have a video on it have a look explaining exactly how it works and a link to it
@@ManorWood cheers, will take a look.
simply lovely buddy, the copper is such nice colour against the chestnut! how long does it take the wind to blow the resin off the grass?🤣
Cheers ! Not long and it’s a nicer way to work outside
Manor Wood definitely buddy
It's in the 80
s and you have a problem with that? We'' I had thought about one day trying this but I live in Florida and hell it's in the 80's in the middle of winter here lol
How much would a table like this roughly cost?
Man what a tree that slab came from! The metal abstract legs looked more complex then the top, what’s something like that cost?
Not sure there’s many English chestnut trees that big anymore this is part of a batch of bought from the storm of the 80s the legs are very complex to make if you’re interested find me an email I’m happy to send you some prices I don’t put prices on UA-cam I’m afraid my clients wouldn’t like
Who cares about the tree! This man wore a ventilator covered in epoxy dust for hours at a time. Hes extremely professional and he deserves to get paid a premium. Otherwise the slab is $1-2k...
How much do you sale the tables for?
I do t talk money on YT , my Clients do not like it. If you would like a table email me you requirements
Ты Кут!!!!!!
I hope you don't drop anything on your foot in the workshop with those trainers on....!!
I have some still toecap trainers but I find it really makes my feet ache standing up all day
i think the price of this table is 10000$ am i right….???
All that resin, just nasty for the planet. Can you not do something with less impact or more natural with wood?
It really isn’t nasty for the planet it’s actually a petrol derivative which is plant-based originally and I’ve got a video coming up showing just how much wood waster is trying to achieve perfect furniture and nice green to give you an idea in England English oak is based on 80% waste with resin the defects are turned into a beautiful features depending on how you see things
@@ManorWood I respect your opinion but I disagree.
