The soundtrack and gothic design of the game has always caused me to love this game. Of all systems this is probably my favorite game of all time. Wish they would come out with a real successor and give us a Switch or Sony version for the 21st century.
I keep trying to play through it but for some reason the controls don't feel timed right. Jumps I made with ease on the SNES I struggle with with every controller I've thrown at it. Did you have this issue?
I still remember the boss in the Treasury was called Zapf Bat . I called the Nintendo helpline on how to defeat him. They responded we didn't get that far yet, I was shocked at what I heard and it made me feel good I was better than a video game counselor.
I remember hearing about some unused areas that were in the original development version of this game. I wish Konami would release a director’s cut with that missing content.
I got three carts of this game. This game never gets old despite an LP is kinda a grind after a while. this game is so in my top 10 games of all time 🔥
Lol I had 4 but parted with one. I seen them at a decent price and these game’s aren’t getting cheaper. Might as well sink money into these games as they are proven to be a safe place for a store of value. Plus it’s a tradable game too.
I got 3 of them too. 1 where I live, 1 at my parent's place if I wanna boot it up when I visit & a spare in case 1 stops working at some point. Never gets old. I honestly think I still play it so I can listen to the music
Absolutely love this version of Castlevania. Is my tradition to either play through it or watch it every halloween. Just once though, I'd like to see a play through where the player was as afraid to GET the boomerang as they usually are to lose it. Like a playthrough where you actually use the dagger, or axe, or holy water. The boomerang is the best weapon but a bit overpowered. I will say that although boomerang is most often the best weapon of choice, against the gold bat the axe is by far the best choice.
In my opinion, THE BEST game ever produced in videogames history!! My Top 1!! Simply 10 out of 10!! Masterpiece!! Perfect!! I get imagining a movie very well done of This game!! My gooosh!!! 👏👏👏
First game I played when I got my first super nes. Years later got it on the Castlevania Anniversary Collection on the PS4. Took me about three weeks to solve it. I liked the music in the main hall. Sounding like something you hear at a baseball game.
I still have my original copy of this game. It so good I think this is the only Castlevania game I ever beat. Please game developers make a better Castlevania that will beat this one and NO remastered don’t count I want a brand new game.
Nice play through! Every time I thought you should have kept the cross instead of a different sub weapon you did. The game is just intuitive like that for those of us who know it well.
Best one I've ever played, got it on release and still own it to this day. Btw, didn't see you utilise the holding of your whip in front of you and shake it around mechanic?
this game was only 1.5 hours, when most games now are 20-40 hours on average, with some multiplayer sometimes. Even if some games are 6-8 hours, i'll tolerate if they are good.
The soundtracks in this game are legendary
Stage 8
The cave is the relax one
One of the greatest, I agree.
The music for the opening is still stunning to this day.
One of the most badass cover art for a video game ever.
My beloved SUPER CASTLEVANIA
it is a huge honor to do a No Hit run for it
may Simon Belmont and the Belmont clan live forever
I played this game as a kid on super Nintendo so much fun to play
I love the opening and the first stage. The music and the action is great!
The entire soundtrack is insane I still spend days just listening to the music
For me the cave
Castlevania Bloodlines was good, but this was art.
Absolutely. Bloodlines was a great game. But Super Castlevania 4 made it look like an Atari game. The graphics and sound on SC4 were incredible.
One if the hardest games to play when I was a kid. Never could beat it. Cool to see the ending. Sad I couldn't do it myself.
I get nostalgic when the Saxophone part start in Simon's Theme.
Never knew all those secret places existed in Castlevania IV. Great job. 🦇
Easily one of the top 10 Snes games of all time. Best of all the Castlevania games.
Isso não é um jogo, é uma obra de arte! Essa OST só traz boas lembranças
The soundtrack and gothic design of the game has always caused me to love this game. Of all systems this is probably my favorite game of all time. Wish they would come out with a real successor and give us a Switch or Sony version for the 21st century.
I play this occasionally on my PC. You just can't turn your back on a well done game like this.
I keep trying to play through it but for some reason the controls don't feel timed right. Jumps I made with ease on the SNES I struggle with with every controller I've thrown at it. Did you have this issue?
The best Castlevania ever.
No arguments from me. After this installment it went stale and downhill.
Yes i love this 🎮
Bloodlines
@@julianborges1569 bloodlines wasn't as good as super
Symphony of the night was great too.
Just beat this game for the first time; it was legendary! Thanks for the long play; I was stuck on some of those bosses, lol.
The best of Castlevania ever!

Great gameplay footage. I love the musical callback at 1:06:42
The ultimate classic in every way. A forgotten gem.
Forgotten by whom? I have never forgotten this game.
The best Castlevania. I can play this anyday, although I have not beaten the game, yet.
castlevania symphony of the night is the best. blows this to smithereens
@@K0ntakt5 it's his opinion. No need to change it
@@sikrisss it's my opinion. no need to change it
@@K0ntakt5 🤷
@@K0ntakt5 Symphony is the best in the series, but Super Castlevania is the best ClassicVania, right next to Rondo.
Still an amazing game, even fun to watch , thank you for sharing.
first stage when the soundtrack kicks in... awesome. i sucked bad at that game but still loved to play.
It just looks so good here for some reason. And I've seen it a millions times.
my childhood 90s baby no saves long nights of crying and when i beat dracula i felt like i belong in the belmont family line
I find myself humming the opening stage and stage 6's songs so often. Thank you so much for playing this.
The music is so awesome
Bringing back 96 memories
Serious contender for best music in a video game ever. And the best castlevania imho
Simon's theme at the end of Dracula's boss fight is hype AF!!!!
Awhh the nostalgia! This deserves a remaster imo
I remember hearing about some unused areas that were in the original development version of this game. I wish Konami would release a director’s cut with that missing content.
For me one of the best games made for SNS, but Castlevania for N64 was the hardest. Great vid man
it took a big sprite sheet to get the spinning room to work like that.
I got three carts of this game. This game never gets old despite an LP is kinda a grind after a while. this game is so in my top 10 games of all time 🔥
Lol why three

I'd truly wish I could have "Super Castlevania 4" on SNES back in Miami.
One of the greates castlevania music ever.
I had this game memorized to where I could go through it on one life

The best Castlevania game ever. Symphony what?
Best Gameplay Ever.
Many memories of when I managed to rent this cartridge at a video store! Thanks for sharing this video! By the way, what controller do you use?
Still the best Castlevania.
L'un des meilleurs castelvania.......nostalgie 😎🤟
Oldies days and games nevera diez 🤗👊
The music is very interesting. I played castlevania when I young and never got to play the snes versions.
First game I played when I got my first super nes. Years later got it on the Castlevania Anniversary Collection on the PS4. Took me about three weeks to solve it. I liked the music in the main hall. Sounding like something you hear at a baseball game.

Omg this game was epic the music my God how awsome graphics bosses still a great game perfect 10
Nice play through! Every time I thought you should have kept the cross instead of a different sub weapon you did. The game is just intuitive like that for those of us who know it well.
I used to try and do badass poses each time I grabbed the orb 😂
An amazing game for sure, but 'Symphony of the Night' is even better. Glad the TV show includes elements from many CV games.
It has the same artwork as Contra 3. Cool!!! 😁
Ever notice how the front cover artwork of super nintendo games are just way better than games now.
Aeeeeee jogaço! Like.
Sub zero is so cool !
It's my favorite video game on Suer nes.
Best SNES game
*one of the best horror games of all time!* ⭐️ ⭐️ ❤️ ⭐️ ⭐️
best soundtrack in videogame history IMO... but after SOTN changed the game.. i really cant get back into those old castlevanias...
GBA forgot to port this in their system, what a loss
Best one I've ever played, got it on release and still own it to this day. Btw, didn't see you utilise the holding of your whip in front of you and shake it around mechanic?
I remember this game it’s took me forever to finish

Nice video can you do a Metroid snes video
I have already recorded video of Super Metroid.

This Game is A Teraphy 😢😁
This and A Link to the Past made the SNES what it was.
Super Mario World and Super Metroid too.
Amazing work sir..
Could you please make the gameplay video of detective conan : 3 nin no meisuiri on playstation 1.. thank you..
You like Jimmy Woods from The Wizard!
Love this game 🥰
sound effects, music and gameplay I would only put sotn at the same level as this castlevania
I just realized it says Dracula arises every hundred years, and *yet again Simon Belmont* takes up his whip. How old is Simon??
This game look so clumsy. But hard to beat.
Watched this while pooping. So good
Next to CoD MW2, the best game music ever.
Cara é bom mesmo
GRACIAS
#LOL, almost 37,100 worldwide views!!!!!!!!!!!
I have a brand new copy of this
I never got why the 16 bit graphics slowed and Faded.
Boomerang the whole way.. Roman numeral three and ride out
