Hate to disappoint you but hex is an entirely different move.
It IS witchcraft though, wasn't wrong about that. Lockstin kind of derped when he failed to realize ghost is one of the magic types like dragon and fairy. And yet Lord Bayoevagenome isn't a ghost type even though that Bayonetta was _clearly_ one of the inspirations alongside the part of Studio Gainax that formed Studio Trigger.
Just that one second of ponyta in the glass jar gave me a late night laughing fit. Amazing.

There needs to be pokemon difficulties.
Easy: holds your hand at the start of the game but later on, trainers get a bit smarter. Champion levels are 60
Medium: Average pokemon game, rival picks the stronger starter. Champion levels are 70
Hard: trainers are smarter and will switch out pokemon when up against pokemon that would be a danger to them and for every pokemon on put on your team they will have at least that many pokemon (even if you take them off, if three different pokemon have ever been in your party, Other trainers will have three or more pokemon) . Champion levels are 85-90
Master: EV trained pokemon, held items, potions/revives, and good movesets are used by *ALL* trainers. Champion levels are 100

@@Saiyagami Yes. There was a hard mode for Pokemon Black and White. For the 2nd playthrough only. The implementation of difficulties was shit, so people complained.
I mean, there's fangames that have that. Specifically Reborn and Rejuvenation. Though Rejuvenation's intense mode (Master), is just plain cruel. Competitive teams, items, IV's movesets, the whole shebang.
Pokemon _used_ to have a difficulty setting. It was called "exp share" which turned from a held item that only worked on the equipped pokemon into a key item for your whole team that you could turn on and off. Now it just defaults to very easy mode where even _catching_ pokemon gives your entire team exp and you can't turn that or the shared exp off, at all.
@Zenki X Ugh yea I think the trubbish and vanillite evolution lines are soley to blame for that too which makes it even dumber. Gen 5 had plenty of great pokemon... Course this is the same fandom that dumps on pretty much ALL inanimate object pokemon because they don't know the first thing about Japanese culture (specifically tsukumogami yokai) or even the culture they were specifically based on like Coney Island and the offshore dumping. It's funny though that these people never seem to dump on the teasure chest mimic, the treasure chest mimic but upside-down, the water pollution sludge, the bigger pile of sludge, the air pollution tumor, the air pollution tumor that grew its own tumors, etc (seriously the evolutions for these were just plain stupid and koffing's design is just plain stupid) also the poison gland and the poison gland with the fancy moustache and diamond pattern (seriously wtf even IS swallot)

I'm now using this as often as I can.
Galar has ault forms. Last gen they added a thing where a few Pokemon changed in other areas over time and they did the idea again. Galar is home to more Pokemon that evolved to become new types as the area they are in made them evolve differently than the other counterpart. Think of it like living in a new area gave them new traits needed to not die out. It makes the split off forms more of a cousin of the main branch.

I just miss competent rivals. I don't even mind that they pick the starter with the type disadvantage as long as they have a solid and creative team to cover their bases. Hugh in B2W2 was the last rival that was hard to beat and that's because he had a flygon and an eelektross. Do you know how long it takes to evolve those two?? Mad respect. And rivals should have a full team much, much sooner. In a lot of rom hacks you have rivals with 6 team members before you reach the 3rd gym and it doesn't make the games unplayable.

Ok, so what I'm getting is that he doesn't know what regional variants are and he doesn't know pokemon can be two types because Morgrem is a Dark Fairy type and Galarian Weezing is Poison Fairy. Also, Gardievor is Psychic Fairy, not grass.

When they introduced fairy, the first new type ever I think, they either had to make 40ish whole new pokemon with the type or make some new ones and make older pokemon also fairy where it made sense. Clefairy for example obviously has to be fairy and normal if fairy is going to exist. Morgroem is a gen5 I think
