Andy Kaufman looked from Heaven and smiled...
They were such an excellent band, I miss them. Remember seeing them at the Thirsty Whale.
Thanks for sharing your story. Very odd to hear his breath reeked, as that's the 1 thing Stanley took care of regularly. He also did bathe, it was his sweat soaked suit that reeked & got worse every day he did a show.
Is there any chance for a LSD reunion show?
@@graves1126 On their twitter it seems like there was talk a few years ago but it never happened.
Awwaa! Stannley! So loveable. @LIFESEXDEATH admin: I'm still touring your channel. I'm just loving it. Thank you so much for this. I'm really curious about Mr. Stann. I wish he'd come do a show for us again. He's quite a character. I loved the video of "Tank" where he ran around the cllub with a chair and broke the lights! He was just out there in Stann-Land! "Tank" still sounds fresh to me. It's held up resiliancy and doesn't sound outdated. Great motiavational theme-song or battle cry! +Peace.
I first discovered this band in 1992. I have heard all of the rumors about Stanley.. that it was an act etc. But this band totally rocks! As someone said earlier, Silent Majority stands the test of time and I still listen to it all of the time.I heard somewhere that Warren DeMartini formerly of Ratt joined the band briefly Greatest one album band ever! Stanley is such an enigma whether it is an act or not, loved the guy! Great singer, I wish they would get back together.
This was all very thought out by Stanley. It's just like Alice Cooper, but it was too much for people take I think.
Wow! Stanley talks and its like all goes quiet and that manic comes out. A beautiful mind
Warren DiMartini was in the band for about half a year then John 5 was in for a bit longer. Then some other guitarist was in for a few months if that & Stanley decided to call it quits.
love Stanley
Chris carries on with his character and comes off as deranged just like his character is supposed to be but the other guys come off as airheads. How high were they?
Its great to be in a band where your band mates get your schtick.. kudos to the guy to the right of stanley.
Mo ostin a&r rep and president of warner bros records. He was my a&r rep from 77 to 78.
I was the bassist of smash palace
The Clarences love & support Life, Sex & Death!
Love yu , my weed guy moved aAbcdefg tell the world about thc
What do you learn in life, ..🥬, nothing
Nobody can make it happen like warner bros ? You mean like mo ostin could. Becuase obviously roberta peterson couldnt! And didnt! Mo ostin was my a&r rep in 77. He was a good freind of mine. a lot of work goes in to music I know. But the truth of it is very simple. Warner bros cant make any thing happen if the band cant. The band itself is what makes it happen not the label. Just sayin!
Tim Duncan Barry Squire was there rep and he was released/replaced by female intern for LSD direction etc. at the time of doing demo's/new members ( LSD ). Warner just trimmed the fat, so to speak and tried to lead LSD away from their NATURAL direction. When they were dropped after not following protocol for this, they COULD have went on and found another label. BUT, the whole scene was blown up by Cobain anyway. It's a shame! Bands make the name, the fame etc. You are correct.
come back guys.
