How he know azie wasn't somebody that the feds were looking for and were building a case on him? Kevin Chiles brought "paperwork"; but it proved nothing! Discovery and finding of facts in ones case are very concise/clear, on your witnesses. Az is mentioned true enough, but no where does it proclaim AZ provided the prosecutors with any incriminating evidence about kevin chiles. One can theorize and make assumptions, but its just to vague to be CONCLUSIVE.. ( Respect to both parties kevin & az)

It sounds like they were both under investigation and the gov thought they were connected thats why they drafted a document with both their names. Usually if someone rats on you they dont put the persons name on your paperwork so you can find out and take them out before they can testify against you.

I don't see how AZ snitched or told.What I see when Kevin asked why or how AZ and him are part of any case it is simple ALPO!!!AZ and Kevin don't have any first hand dealings at all but in a case that has ALPO as the principal party they are linked.That ALPO was the original case and then side cases emerged like Kevin's.Cause if AZ told on Kevin in the discovery it would say that he told and what was said.Without being involved or seeing all the paperwork or being at the trial we will never truly know what was what.Again by what I watched and heard I take it Alpo was the main fish/case and that is how AZ and Kevin tie in.
I guess I'm slower than Flip because I'm still not totally convinced not that it matters. But, I understand Kevin's position since he beat trial in part because Chuck's testimony was deemed by a jury, second hand knowledge he acquired from a Federal informant. That federal informant was Alpo but because AZ was given that information via ALpo, it allowed Chuck's testimony to corroborate Alpo's account. However, it seems AZ was only part of his case and in the "PAPERWORK" because of Alpo. AZ as a messenger does help the Feds case but doesn't explicitly mean AZ was a corroborating witness. Maybe Azie as Chuck's "friend" passing on paper work to help him snitch on Kevin is the indirect corroboration and thus "snitching"? You could also question why Azie was even in contact with Alpo, who was in the feds at the time, and AZ was one of the first to suspect Alpo killed Rich. So, he definitely should've felt a way about Alpo anyway, imo.

Azie was a confidential informant, who Alpo, and Chuck both validated his accusations pinpointing key street people in Harlem when they were interrogated. Which led to the investigation and indictment to Kevin.
