- As of now, there hasn't been any significant news regarding Heartland Season 18. The current season graced our screens back in October 2023, captivating audiences with its heartfelt storytelling and compelling characters. However, much of the media coverage and promotional efforts from CBC have been focused on the ongoing episodes, leaving fans eager for updates on what's to come.
While we anxiously await news of Season 18, it's essential to remain patient and optimistic. As history has shown, the renewal process for Heartland can take time. Season 17 itself wasn't confirmed until May 2023, mere months before its eventual premiere. The real success of Heartland was and still is the Amy and Ty love story. The dating in season 17 especially Amy's relationship with Nathan is simply the writers attempt to keep the storyline interesting, and not boring. I believe if Ty comes back to the show Heartland will continue with Ty, Amy and Lindy together again. If he doesn't return the writers will conclude the series with Amy unable to accept another(not just because Ty can't be replaced} because of her continuing strong love and feelings for Ty. She will conclude that her peace and happiness is with her as a single mother raising Lindy in the manner Ty would have wanted. In my opinion, because we had 14 years of this remarkable love story, whereby the viewers got to intimately know Ty, it makes it nearly impossible to erase him from the viewers minds and on a larger scale future Heartland seasons.
Heartland will only succeed if Graham returns! There is no other way to say it!! And get rid of the over-aged terrible actor for a ranch character!(Nathan) He's a soap actor! Send him packing back to a hospital soap!! This show was 99% about the Amy & Ty story for 13 good seasons then with his departure they had the nerve to take a family show and turn it into a soap opera!! And with that they lost a "Big" chunk of there true fans! And they know it! With many more to drop out if Graham does not return in the flesh! This show should have ended at the end of season 13 on a happy note for the Borden family! And Jack! Graham gave them 2 years notice of his departure so there was no reason they could not have come up with a great storyline ending! But no they got money hungry especially Amber with her acting, consulting producer role and reaping the rewards of the Heartland products at her Country Store! And Michelle Morgan with her acting & Director salary. Big coin for both and filmed right in Amber's back yard so to speak! Why would they not want to extend Heartland as long as they can milk it!! Some way, shape or form convince Graham to return for one last season and watch the fan base triple! It would and we all know it! Let him direct a couple episodes as he earlier requested and was denied! (Likely because Michelle wanted to direct)! And she is no director as her episodes were ridiculous!! Perhaps bring back a number of the key actors from earlier seasons to finish off a great Heartland ending! Just saying from beautiful foothills of Alberta 🇨🇦🤠🐎

Not sure many would agree with that!! Amber's acting has taken a nose dive without Graham there to help her out. She is on record saying Graham helped her alot on her acting of short lines!! Something she struggles with!! No Graham no show and we all know it!!🇨🇦🤠🐎
