Got a little worried reading the amazon reviews but this comment section and your video changed my mind! Thanks.

Thanks for the great review. I just received mine today. Paid $202 altogether on a Lightning Deal. They seem to have those fairly regularly, so if you miss one, just set an alert in Keepa or something and get it next time. The price has crept up over the months, though. Used to be $160 last year, then they raised it to $170 in the first half of this year, and now it's $187 before tax.

Looks like a great chair but 12 inch seat height still a bit low for us older folks - would also need an under pad for a softer surface.

How does the Riviera compare to the Cliq Lounge chair?

Thanks for the review! Have you tried it on deepish sand? The 4 footed design has me wondering and also how well those mechanisms work with the sand and dust over time! Thanks!

Hello! I have taken it to the beach and it seems to work OK, especially on wet sand. As far as the mechanisms, they are pretty easy to care for, sometimes I just take a leaf blower to it if there’s too much grit, and that seems to work.

Thanks for the review! Can I ask how tall you are? I see 6’3” guys comfy in it and am wondering if my 5’7” self will have issues with it digging into the back of my knee.

Just bought BTR 14in stool so far so good... but dam do I wish these cliq chairs would have a sale or lower the price... 220$/120$ I can't justify that price... seems good product.. very slick design.. easy peasy

I know right? They are way over priced. Sometimes you can find an open box one on Amazon that will be between $65 and $85 but that’s about the cheapest I’ve seen it.

I agree with you, I have two original cliqs and bag. one broke and I am having a hard time convincing myself to buy another second because of the price. I don't see myself paying $220 for a lounge one. Way over priced!

The rubber foot broke on one of my cliqs. Also sometimes it doesn’t want to engage the locking mechanism when we open it. Don’t love that but love them otherwise

But what about the thighs? Do they hurt like the original?

We've used our originals a dozen times in sand/gravel and all the plastic feet covers are broken/gone...and we are relatively smallish people (180/120 lbs). Not impressed with this aspect of the chairs.
