She seems like a fun doll for kids who are over the ball gown look. Comfy dolls seem more relatable. Her hair is cute with Belle’s signature widow’s peak. Thanks for your detailed review of her. 😄
Yes, I feel that some kids will want a more relatable look for their dolls, sometimes it's nice to dress them in clothes that people wear in the real world rather than huge ballgowns. I also love the fact that she has glasses on too.
You made me LOL that you treated yourself after having to be sociable for a couple of hours…😅. That’s a perfectly justifiable reason! She is cute and definitely seems to be the “pick of the bunch” of that doll line. I wished they made a doll like this of the main character, Venellope. She is a little impy, rascal in the movies but she is cute, with heart.
I guess the only problem with treating yourself every time you have to be sociable is that invariably you end up having to treat yourself almost on a daily basis! I did Google for pictures of the Comfy Squad before I made the video and a few of the pictures did feature a Venellope "doll" - although she feels more like an action figure - and sadly she isn't quite in the right proportion with the dolls.
Congrats and good for you for being sociable! Weddings. Enough Said. Thee Flat Shoes, shaped to High Heels.... that is a little.... different. ;-) I was glad YOU called them weird..... It might have been what I was thinking.
Thank you, having to be a social butterfly when really you're an unsociable caterpillar can be quite a difficult task. The feet/shoe situation is just very very odd, I have no idea why they decided that THAT was a good idea. Then again quite a lot of the decisions made by companies who design and make dolls, I would consider to be quite questionable.
It's sad, I feel like the shoes really let it down - they could literally have just given us a heel on her shoes or made them into chunky trainers/sneakers with big soles. Listen, I deserved that treat, I spoke to people I didn't know, and unlike at work I wasn't getting paid to do so!
I remember having seen these at tk maxx a few years back, this was before Mattel regained the license. Taking into account the 15€ Mattel princess have barely any articulation and a fully molded on top, these seem great in comparison 😂
Yes, I could imagine these having TK Maxx written all over them as a line. Honestly, I am cheap - I am a cheap b*tch - so even 15€ seems like a lot to pay... but when you compare it to over 30€ for Rainbow High and Monster High it really is a bargain, but also when it comes to dolls, you really do tend to get what you pay for. It can be quite the balancing act sometimes.
16:18 that's what it was it was the knee articulation that lacked, the original release girls have new articulation but overall I think she's still a good release and cute
I was totally not expecting to see her in the wild so when I did see her I knew I had to get her. I don't think I realised how different her size was when compared to Barbie until I filmed the video.
2:17 I'm actually a big fan of the comfy princesses I was never able to get my hands on the second ones like the one you have.. But if I remember correctly I'll keep watching your video to prove it they do like a little bit of the articulation that the originals had
Awww a doll wearing what I usually wear! Hahah - super relatable. 🤗 I do like the Disney dolls though so far all I have are some villains and bounders. Btw I am still loving the new paint color. So joyful! ❤
I find the size of this Disney doll to be a bit strange, she is definitely smaller than a Barbie which is the typical size of Disney Princess and ily 4EVER dolls that you would buy from the Disney store. It's kind of sad that a child wouldn't easily have been able to redress this gal, unless they just swap her clothes with another of the Comfy Squad.
Nice find, she is cute. I like the idea of the Pricesses just chilling about. love how you just "happended" across a toy shop and definitely deserved her after your socializing 🥰🥰
I have to be honest I had almost given up hope, then we went for coffee and I saw this large building over the road which mentioned "toys"! I like to think that the toy shop found ME, rather than me finding it.
She’s an interesting doll, I remember seeing them in shops. Coincidentally my friend gave me some dolls and in the bag were the glasses and shoes to this doll. Also both of the shoes and glasses fit vintage Sindy. The “ I treated myself after having to be sociable” comment was so relatable! 😂 ✨
Thanks for the tip on the glasses and the shoes! I love the idea of giving some glasses to one of my vintage Sindys. If we can't treat ourselves for having to be a social butterfly for a whole afternoon AND evening then when can we, eh? 😉
Thank you, yes she is both comfy in her pjs but also with a touch of glamour with the sparkles... even if my table was covered in the red glitter after the recording!
I really wish that she was bigger - the size of a Barbie or an actual Disney Princess doll. The fact that these dolls seem to be such a unique size feels very odd to me.
🤣🤣Doll people. We will find a place that sales dolls, doll accessories or what can be used for doll accessories any where we go. I hope the ceremony was a short one.🤣🤣 But if not a cute that cute Bell was waiting for you to take her home CONGRATULATIONS!🎉
So I tried to put some of these items of clothing onto Rune and unfortunately her proportions are quite different, so no, Rune is unable to wear these particular clothes as they are too small for her.
1:37 actually The comfy wear was made by vanellope... What you did kind of irritate me that they didn't come up with a vanellope the scale of these princesses. And the one that you have in your hand is a second release... yes
Thank you for the info! The fact that Vanellope made the clothes for the Princesses kind of makes sense. And yes, I Googled the doll line after I bought this one and the Vanellope doll is more of an action figure and looks way out of scale to interact with the Comfy Squad!
I was deeply considering getting one in the future but the lack of articulations in the knees and the difficulty in getting a proper high heel shoes for her drove me away. For people not as picky as me she's perfect, she has a beautiful face, I wanted her to be the daughter of my fashionista in wheelchair that actually don't use the wheelchair, she got better from he small accident (in my mind at least) and my BMR Asian with glasses, but will be difficult to move her around so I have to find another doll for them. She's very amazing regardless and I love her glasses and book/small briefcase or whatever, lol!
Yes, the shoe/foot situation is really odd. I have her standing at the moment but it's because she is on a stand, it just looks like she is standing on tippy-toes though! I probably shouldn't have bought her, but it was such a surprise to see her there that I couldn't leave her behind.

She's quite a nice doll though the shoes are indeed a little odd. I love that you got yourself a treat for having to be sociable 😄🥰❤️🤗☺️

Articulation isn't too bad but it's a shame that the legs are just solid plastic without even having clicky knees.
I like her… but I am a fan of comfy
Me too - comfy rules and the great news is that we are in comfy season again right now (at least here) with the days getting cooler etc.
Love the frosty blue locks, you look more sassy than usual! 💋🩵 Love the doll and that she is styling comfy clothes! 😍♥️
Thank you, you are very kind, my hair desperately needs to be dyed in this video and looks particularly washed out against that orange wall!
@@MarchPaynesMidlifeDollyCrisis Nonsense, you look Fab!!! 😘🥰💋

Hi March looking good 💙💙 well this Doll is so new for me 😊
Thank you! I was kind of aware of these dolls but hardly expected to run into one in the wild which is why I was so excited to get her.
@@MarchPaynesMidlifeDollyCrisis in 2019 I wasn't doll collecting unfortunately 😥
@@natalidolll Me neither, when I look at some of the other dolls in this line they look so much fun though!

She is a cute doll. I haven't bought any of these, but it is a nice idea for a princess doll.. I picked up some interesting dolls at the doll show.

Absolutely! I was determined to find and buy something doll related as a treat, and the universe must have heard my silent plea.
😂🤣Yes it did Yes it did March! I love when that happens !
Good to see you again 🙂She's a cute doll! Would she be able to share clothes with Rune?
So I tried to put some of these items of clothing onto Rune and unfortunately her proportions are quite different, so no, Rune is unable to wear these particular clothes as they are too small for her.
