Is it easy to ride the SW Neighborhood Shuttle? Is that what it's called? I read about it on a District Wharf website, but I'm so curious if it's safe to ride with kiddos from a hotel at the Wharf to the National Mall. And apparently it's free? Thanks for any advice!
Hmm.. Thanks for uploading the video. I wonder in the long run how successful the Wharf will be? Obviously if you live outside of the DC border lines, you really aren't rushing into DC just to go to the Wharf? Also, there is the entire Navy Yard waterfront area & the National Harbor too... Does the city have enough residents to support these waterfront areas? Out of Town visitors do not come to DC for the waterfront.. I will say that DC was in desperate need of this gentrification, lets hope far southeast gets some much needed redevelopment too..
The wharf doesn’t rely on suburban commuters for its success, it relies on the locals and residents built above all the resources and amenities. That density has been proving great so far
@@papagramps1257 With all the crime in DC, its just a matter of time before neighborhoods like the Wharf, Navy Yard, Washington Harbor and even Georgetown's waterfront become desolate and retailers and residents leave.. Wasn't a congressman carjacked and a group of people leaving a restaurant at the Wharf robbed at gunpoint?
@@mamadouaziza2536 Homicide is down 31% from last year, armed robbery 41%, Assault w/a dangerous weapon down 32%, Auto theft is down ~30%. Violent crime AS A WHOLE is down 20%. You can be scared of cities all you want. DC is thriving rn and it doesn’t matter whether you think so or not
Beautiful, peaceful and relaxing 😎
Shake shack on the water-My idea of a union made in heaven‼️
It's a great spot, isn't it?! A perfect place for a stroll and a bite to eat.
How much it has changed since I saw it last time! 😎😎😎😎😎
The Wharf definitely has changed. Looking very modern and nice, but I still love the old vibe. Thank you for sharing this video in this area.
Thank you for watching and for leaving a comment. The Wharf sure has changed over the last few years!
Let's go! Let's go! Let's go travel the world together! Love this video! Amazing! : )
Thank you so much for watching!
Beautiful ❤

You should have walked to those seafood restaurants and shown what they have. That's interesting. Instead, you turned back to the boring walkway.
