You are so awesome. I have not made anything YET from your video's as I am new to the jewelry art, but I saved everyone. As one day I will make all your work. You inspire me so much. I was ready to give up and one day I came across one of your videos and have been hooked and now am so excited to do what my heart wanted to do in the beginning. I would love to set at a table with you to show me your expert advice. Oh and yes I love your story book voice. LOL
thanks Sylvie, glad as an advanced beader you still like these beginning vids. :-)
I like when you talk through the videos the best! Thank you for your time!
I absolutely love your tutorials. Every time I want to make something new I do one of your pieces. I just did this one tonight. Took me about 5 hours including a few breaks but I have finished and it is a fascinating piece. Thank you for your tutorials
Glad you enjoy my vids and jewlery Cassarah. :-) Yes it's quiet the time consumiing piece but so worth it :-)
Amazing. I was eyeing books to buy, no need to now that I've found your channel, thank you!
You are very meticulous and i Love that, even if i'm an advance Beader's i really enjoy to wach your videos for beginners, it's a real pleasure to see You make your Design's it's amazing how You are so patient & very very good Designer so Thank's to share.
Very pretty! Lots of different possibilities with this. Thank you.
I love this tutorial. When I first saw the pattern, I thought wow, that is VERY hard to do...then I thought I would give it a try, and low and behold, I did it! I can't thank you enough! I'm so proud of myself...lol.
Super Audrey, I always say to just give it a try, looking at vids always seems harder, but when you try it and pause it along the way it's not all that hard at all :-)
I don't use specific kind of needle, I buy a pack with different sizes beading needle, whatever fits to do the job is what I use :-)
Hi, thank you so much for a great video. No matter how tight I do my stitch, there is always some thread that shows on the top row, so I'll definitely try weaving in an extra bead at the end!
Nicole there are no stupid questions :-) You can use fireline but I like the movement with c-lon for these. Using fireline for the whole piece doesn't only make it more expensive but it also gets a bit more "stiffer" as I want it to be more flexible and basically "dancing" on your neck. But that's just me, patterns are just that and it's up to you what you like better in the end, maybe you like to adjust it, I just do the basics here and share my opinion on how I like things :-)
Gianna I have been working on this all evening approx 5 hours with breaks. Ive managed about 8 inches probably half the necklace. So labour intensive, so much fun at the same time. Im hoping to complete tomorrow. Ive used green instead of blue.
Thank you. You are a good teacher.
I will suggets on some of your projects that if they enjoy your videos an your time you spend teaching us sure be nice to help u in return with a nice cam to help us become great beaders lol which you do,I'm serious on this. Kindness should be in all your supporter can't hurt let me try.
yup, jumprings throught the loops, and lways a dangle on the extention cord :-)
thant's ok, I'm dutch mysefl so I can figure out what you are saying, glad you found a project you think you can do :-)
Good luck Cindy but maybe you want to move over to my main page first and check iout the video called "Downloadable patterns? Is it worth it?" and read the comments. If that doesn't discourage you well be my guest :-)
You are right, a little imagination with this one goes a very long way :-)
Somewhere in the beginning of August I will go on ebay with all items I didn't sell during the summer Felicia :-) I will make a video on all channels when I do :-)
you're welcome Tracy :-)
Did you only use fishline or c-lon to, cause if you used both you need to find a plave in front of a swarovski to tie up, that way you can tie 3 or 4 knots and pull it in to a swarovski. It'll stay put that way
Great video thank you so much. I always wondered how much consolidation of the threads was necessary and I see you would rather err on the side of caution. I'm putting this video in my playlist.
Hi just made this but not sure where to find the link for the extension chain dangly thing you talking about
Have fun, I will soon have a "bed replacement" video for this up to show some more things you can just do with this basic netted bracelet making it look totaly different just by replacing beads :-)
I did this necklace with black and shiny turquoise beads and used red crystal bicones and it is stunning
Just subscribed very nice! Thumbs up keep up the great work! ;)
you're welcome Mary :-)
very nice! I loke your videos very very much.
lovely video, what size fire line do you use, so easy to tie a knot in!
I wish i can show u what i made following this. Very beautiful and fun.
Oh and PS I just checked but at the end of my video there is a link in the video that will transfur you to the clasp adding part. :-)
I don't know, I didn't count the seedbeads, besides I never give numbers cause you wrist/finger/neck may be bigger than mine, and you will be mad at me when I say 2 grams and you will need 3. So not doing that unless I do pendants. There is a video called "How to add a clasp beginning beaders tutorial ". You can find it in my playlist section :-)
like the blue black they complement each other thank you
Beautiful, I would love to own a piece of your art.
Wow u do such awesome videos!! This 4 sharing!!
in this video I used C-lon and I'm don't do knots in the middle of any projects. Only knot when I finish up :-) I don't like weak points in my work, I wouldn't dare garentee a year warrenty if there was a knot in there anywhere
Love this necklace i did one of you other ones like this for my daughter.I don't know where or how to put the beading I have made to show you.
Can you tell me how.
Cindy
I love your tutorials, both the projects and your instructions. How can you come up with these beautiful pieces that can be created by people of my limited ability? You are magic.
I'm glad I can do this for you guys :-) Want everyone to make some money or just look stunning and have your jewlery be something family, friends or co-workers talk about in envy :-)
Christine Frey
Thank you. Please let me know the type and size of beading needle that you have used.
How long is your Clon thread that you are working with?
I do travel when my favorite actor is making a public apearance. As soon as he does that I wil do a shout out where I'm at to see if Beaders want to come share a day of beading and talking with me :-)
I have a very lovely necklace now:))because of you.Thank you very much for sharıng
you're welcome Aida :-) May t attract so much attentions you will be selling them ;-)
beading perfectionist thumbz up!!!!!!
If you keep watching the video you will see how I attach two parts together Shubha :-) I do suggest you use C-lon though if yuo want to make sure this piece is A+ quality. You can find some on ebay.com
you're welcome Cassan :-)
lol, welcome to my channel Serenity
Can't you just add more thread when you run out and finish the necklace instead of doing it in 2 parts? Just wondering why it needs to be done in 2 parts?
I can see how to do it without watching the video! Thanks for this easy tutorial so it won't take five years to make one for my sis!
hi dear grwat tutorial Thankyou
pfff... it's been a while since I made this I think about 2 and a half armspans wide, I must have mentioned it in teh video or did I forget?
I'm new to beading so please excuse me if this is a stupid question...why couldn't you just use Fireline for the entire piece?
Hi...nice video...im from India, and regularly follow all your videos. I have a question here, if the thread breaks in between, then how to restart? or shud the entire project be started all from the scratch? my thread either breaks up in middle, or gets a tight knot which i have to break...what to do to avoid such mistakes?
Hey, thanks for the audio on this vid as it is very helpful for a beginner like myself.I do many crafts but like knitting I need audio. when i make one of these i'll tell u how it came out. THANKS XOXOXOXO
I will real92 :-) Welcome to the wonderful world of beading :-)
WHATS SIZE EED BEADS YOU USE THENK YOU
Hi Gianna, LOVE your videos. I'm currently working on this necklace (I am using .20mm Wildfire as I didn't have c-lon). I am about halfway through noticed that some of the earlier sections have loosened up. Is there a way to fix it without undoing everything?
Start re-pulling your thread at the bottom part of the piece one by one at the seedbeads
B4Pbakup
Thanks!
Did it work?
I started to try it but worried about breaking the strand so just undid everything and started over. I'm going a bit slower this time and making sure everything is right before stringing the next section
And that would be the best option by far any time :-)
thank you :-)
as many as it takes to fit my neck. I have no idea... this is already sold
Thank you very much Gianna, I want to try, it's an awesome necklace! How long must the thread be? Thank you again!
Vera Vera doesn't matter Vera but I would start with 2 meters at least, but you can attach all the parts together if you want to use shorter thread
Thank you very much!
How many seed beads are needed? Pls share clasp adding video
i like ur videos
Sorry to bother you again. But can you tell me how to get authentication on swarovski crystals?
yes, i understand that but you ties knot at the end to finish the project. i seem to have trouble getting my fishline to stay tied!
I'm making this necklace but am adding many more rows along the bottom to make a non-traditional Chickasaw Collar, when it's done I'd like to send you a picture, how do I send you a picture? And yes I gave you props on my Facebook page, Native Designs by Mary. Thank you for all of your lovely videos!
you can find me on facebook Mary, just look there for beading for perfectionists and attach your picture in the comment section :-) Looking forward to seeing it. Happy new year :-)
Is it not easier to simply start with a longer cord so that you don't have to do it in two parts?
I'm also thinking of maybe using teardrop shape beads for the bottoms instead of regular black seed bead...
of course it would be but I doubt you will make it too the end with the threat tangling up so often
You were right, I started with four meters and ended up cutting it because it tangled so much
But I modified the design slightly so it ended up looking nice even though I did waste a lot of thread.
Nice UA-cam Commenter
Can I use 8/0 seed beads? Will I have to use a larger bicone if I use 8/0s?
don't know but I suggest you try and see what happens :-) Never made it with 8/0 seeds myself...
I'm going to try it. I'll let you know how it turned out. Thanks for the tutorial.
How to attach the thread to needle while netting beads?
Hi Thanks for your videos.. As a very newbie, I selected your video to make my first item...Unfortunately, I cannot find the link where you show us how to make the clasp! Please help! And thanks for all you do!
jump rings with extension cord on one end attaching them to the loop, jump ring with lobster clasp on the other loop and done :-)
B4Pbakup thanks so much!!
Do you have to use the exact same thread that you use???
Krzysztof Cierniak nope but if it doesn't turn out the exact same way you will know what you did differently :-)
not so much as "more tuts with footage". This is another youtube channel :-)
ha but when you get more advanced you will no doubt leave me here and try your luck on the other channel ;-)
i love this tutorial ... thanks

you're get faster when you do the 2nd one ;-) But seriously (although the pevious is true) it will be worth every minute when you're done with it, the picture doesn't do it justice but even with 8 inches I think you allready noticed that :-)
