i am disabled and beading is the one thing that i can do and get a sense of accomplishment with.your videos make it that much easier.thank you for sharing your time and talent.
the bracelet that you show in the beginning of your tutorials is what got me hooked watching your channel! I went back and checked out your beginner beads and I am so looking for to making them! Now if I can talk my husband into buying me some more beads!
Greetings from Las Vegas, Nevada, North America!! I wish I'd come across this years ago when you did this video but my motto is "Timing is Everything", so it's great I found it at all as it's a stunningly beautiful piece!! Thank you for a fantastic video tutorial!!💯❤
Hi Cinzia. Simple test. Put it on, than shruk your shoulders. If it flips right than it's your neck. Some people have a more rounde neck going upward. If it didn't flip you may want to try not starting with 6mm but try 8mm instead. If your it still flips, don't worry I will do a double row gorgeous necklace with 8mm on very soon that will solve the problem. I've seen it happen before with customers, but the double row is just as gorgeous and always solved the problem :-)
I'm working on this one now! I am using smaller 4,6&8mm bicones in amethyst & 15/0 Myuki in Wine and it looks gorgeous! Can't wait to get it finished & show it off!
It's not for sale here on youtube but I will send you a link per PM with 10 webshopowners that have offered to make anything on my channels for those who rather buy instead of bead. :-) You can have it custom made to size and all these webshopowners / beaders have all the experience I have :-)
Thank you for your awesome videos and your wonderful talent. I just started beading for fun, your instruction is so simple and easy and I am now hooked on beads and loving it.
oh and another thing is you could also try and wear it over a thin sweater that has a collar. That might also help to keep it in place. I wore it on a black sweater with a collar and it looks fabulous :-)
I made it with 4, 6 and 8 mm in Crystal AB, it is very beautiful thank you so much, also made the bracelet in 6 mm gorgeous!! And is straight not twisted at all!! y will take pictures!
I just started beading and I love your video. So I thought I would drop you a note just to lt tou know how I am grateful for them. So thank you for them.
Awsome necklace, I have a lot of bicones and I have time as soon as the snow come's, so I will make it and thank you so much it's really beautiful. God Bless Nicky
what a great beginners project 8) i often get bored with what i do usually, stringing or peyote stitch and this is a different way of beading for me.. thanks for sharing your knowledge and know-how 8)
Glad you enojoy it. I have a lot of basic stitches up besides peyote. It may be fun for you to explore them when you are looking for something besides peyote :-)
you can but the chance that the necklace will "flip" around on your neck will increase. My hubby is homebound to due to reumatism, so I know how that is, he got in to Reiki Healin, so I know the positive powers of "working" even if you are sick can't go out to work in a physical manner.
I use to do bead fairs but only in the netherlands :-) But no I don't travel the world, however I do plan to do a shout out as soon as I have a good reason to go to LA again, see if beaders would like to meet up :-)
This is beautiful. I happy and happy to find your channel. You bring me lots and lots happiness I don't know why. Keep beading . thanks again for sharing.
I just made this beautiful necklace. Lol Some how I got my loop for the clasp pointing out . But it's still lovely. I can't wait to try more of your tutorials. Thank you for helping a beginner beadier like myself.
I saw you already managed to figure that out. Well done. It's gorgeous but you may want to check the "flip" factor. Some people with rounded neack when they wear this it will keep flipping up. :-)
I have been handeling the for some time. I guess I got used to not hlding on to them too tight :-) I do however use a piec of fabric when I'm finished to polish them up, nothing special, a towl will do :-)
hi Gianna, its at around 01:04 - 01:05, before it, you explain you did 13 sets of 6mm beads, (4 x 13) for both sides, then you say to make the increase you need 8 x 8mm, then 8 x 10 mm, though I can see from looking at the video and pausing it, and counting that it is 8 x 8 on both sides making a total of 16 x 8mm needed and 8 x 10mm, plus how ever many 6mm required for length, I was just worried that a total beginner might not pick up on this, and want to double check I had got my sums right.
thank you for this video (and many others), i finally got the beads for this and made it and the bracelet & earrings to go with. I wish there was a way i could show you my creation from your designs. I also made mine in crystal bicones and it is so shiny and sparkly!!!
Thanks to the internet and being able to reach a world wide population anything you want is possible wetutseachother :-) Guess you just have to want it bad enough and find a way to be a little different and stand out :-)
I am going to a show in London in March, and although it is called the Knitting & Stitching show, I know from previous experience, they have a whole host of craft stalls and workshops there, it was at one of these shows I first learned the peyote stitch. Do you ever come to any show over here, it would be great to meet you and watch a demonstration in person.
I'm curious to know if it will flip if not, so let everyone know. I never used smaller than 8 and still it flips on many of wellrounded necks out there. 6 was a "flipping" problem for a lot more people. I don't know if 4 /6/8 will straighten that out so please let us know if it worked :-)
I have no clue. I'm european, I count in centimeters... not inches. AS for this necklace well it's not to hard, just start, and hold it up to your neck in front of a mirror and see if the length is goo or not, if so you make that ltiile V to turn back up :-)
Hi, Love your video's! can' t wait to start this necklace.I am not a new beader but very far from an advanced beader. I like the way you increased the size of the beads at the point, can I add more increase, in other words can I use 4 mm in place of the 6mm than increase to 6mm than increase to 8mm and so on. Thanks for all you do. I am home bound do to health reasons and if not for the videos I watch and learn beading and other things life would be much hard. Thanks so much
This is so beautiful. Thank you so much for the excellent tutorial. Could I use round pearls to do this? I have a lot more pearls than I do bicones. Joy
Well yes you can but it won't look good. The bicones sort of "slide" in to each other as to where the pearls do not so you will see an awful lot of thread if you do it with round beads
No not my hubby but the real Scott Bakula :-) I go see him at conevtions and these pictures are taken all over the world :-) This one up here was in Germany at the fedcon :-)
I love your instruction. So simple. I do wonder, how do you keep your beads so shiny? I would think that after handling them, fingerprints would get all over. At least mine do. Maybe it's just the "perfectionist" in me that sees the prints when dealing with my Swarovski's. Do you have any hints on how to clean when finished with a project?
Hi I love your channel . I have made this lovely necklace with 6mm 8mm and 10mm for the v. But it keeps twisting on me .. What do think I might have done wrong . I used the wildfire thread and size 11 seed beads. I dont like to give up so I will dismantle it and start again . Thanks for all your lovely tutorials. Patrice.
I may give this a try. I want to surprise my fiance with something special. Can you give me an idea of how long this will take for a beginner? About an hour or 2? and about how much will it cost to get the beads for this. (about 120-150 6mm etc.) thanks.
Hi Gianna, I love your tutorials, I was just watching over this video again to see what I need to make this necklace, as I hope to make it using Emerald green Swarovski crystals to wear St. Patrick's night when I go out, However I just noticed, is it not 16 size 8mm bi-cone's you need in total, 8 for each side of the necklace, only you say we need 8 x 8mm....
Thank you for the tutorial, do you know how to make 5 row v shaped necklace? I would be very happy and grateful if I can learn it. You explain it well.
Yes you can make this with pearls. It may not be the same process but it does look very nice. You just have to search it and it might be in a different language.
Thank you so much for this video, really love all your videos. I am currently in the US and i would like to buy the materials used for this piece. However, I cannot seem to find this brand of Nylon Thread, so could you perhaps suggest another type of thread I could use?
here you go Juliet, ebay my fav place :-) www.ebay.com/itm/70m-Roll-of-Crystal-Nylon-Jewelry-String-Cord-Thread-For-beading-Fishing-0-25mm-/331332678095?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4d24f771cf
can this be made with any beads or bicones only? i'm trying to fix a necklace for my sister and use the beads from it to make her something new....Love ALL of your tutorials i've watched.
weid this comment pops up now. Didn't see it before, sorry it didn't get answered, No you really can't do it with round beads, anything else you can try :-)

what a great beginners project 8) i often get bored with what i do usually, stringing or peyote stitch and this is a different way of beading for me.. thanks for sharing your knowledge and know-how 8)
Glad you enojoy it. I have a lot of basic stitches up besides peyote. It may be fun for you to explore them when you are looking for something besides peyote :-)
It's easy enough :-) yet gorgeous :-)
Thanks Diana :-)
this one is really easy, you should be able to do it with no problems at all :-)
you can but the chance that the necklace will "flip" around on your neck will increase. My hubby is homebound to due to reumatism, so I know how that is, he got in to Reiki Healin, so I know the positive powers of "working" even if you are sick can't go out to work in a physical manner.

You're welcome Ashley and put a heavy book on the loop that will straighten it out
That might work. I'll try it. Thank you again

Can I make this necklace with pearls? Would it still lay right?
Try it and see what happens :-)
it is very, very beautiful! congratulations!
I guess it is kinda off topic but does anyone know of a good site to stream newly released tv shows online ?
@Kase Draven i would suggest FlixZone. You can find it on google :)

@Kase Draven glad I could help xD

I saw you already managed to figure that out. Well done. It's gorgeous but you may want to check the "flip" factor. Some people with rounded neack when they wear this it will keep flipping up. :-)

Just Fabulous!!!!!!
seems like a needle would be helpful here.... I don't have the time or patience for non-needle beading. hats off to you!
Спасибо! Мне очень понравилось!
Very easy to follow
on ebay, check my faq playlist (click my avatar) it has links to where I buy
I have been handeling the for some time. I guess I got used to not hlding on to them too tight :-) I do however use a piec of fabric when I'm finished to polish them up, nothing special, a towl will do :-)

+B4Pbakup i did find you on FB and sent a pic there, hope i did you proud.
I think you did great. But more important is you made yourself proud :-) Me, I'm just after getting you addicted to beads ;-)
give it a try and see how that works out. I never done it with pearls so I don't know
I'm going to make this.
l really like this necklace I have to make one for sure
really? Maybe I should give it a try one day, right now I'm focussing on getting macrame under control :-)
Thanks to the internet and being able to reach a world wide population anything you want is possible wetutseachother :-) Guess you just have to want it bad enough and find a way to be a little different and stand out :-)
Thank you very much! :)

very pretty
I made one,it came out very well .

Do you ever come to any show over here, it would be great to meet you and watch a demonstration in person.
I think in this case it may be because your beads are too small. The necklace isn't heavy enough to stay in place
This is beautiful
Thank you Tiffany :-)
B4Pbakup Your welcome
Thank you wery mutch for this video

Thank you for the tutorial. This is a future project! I wonder how long is the bracelet you made in the video?
I get everyting on ebay-dot-com. But before you buy check the sellers feedback first to see if they are trustworthy
Love you tutorials. I'm new to beading and I am wondering, where do you get/buy you crystal bicone beads.
This is so beautiful. Thank you so much for the excellent tutorial. Could I use round pearls to do this? I have a lot more pearls than I do bicones.

you're welcome belbates :-)
Cool. I only take video responses if they are tutorial related :-)
8x8mm on each side. Where in the vid is the flaw at around what time? I can't find it...

thank you! :)))))

I love this tutorial. What colour swarovski crystals were used for the above necklace. They look so beautiful.
Crystal AB Shobana
Thank you for the tutorial, do you know how to make 5 row v shaped necklace? I would be very happy and grateful if I can learn it. You explain it well.
+ingerevina dependa You can do any stitch ans make it 5 rows depending on what you had in mind, or what it is you saw :-)
can we use pearls to do this? will it look good for a bride?
no, it would look awful. The bicones "slide" in to each other as to where the pearls do not. You will see w whole lot of thread if you do.
Yes you can make this with pearls. It may not be the same process but it does look very nice. You just have to search it and it might be in a different language.
I've seen it look lovely with pearls, but they used 4mm, 6mm and 8mm instead so less thread was seen.
Thank you so much for this video, really love all your videos. I am currently in the US and i would like to buy the materials used for this piece. However, I cannot seem to find this brand of Nylon Thread, so could you perhaps suggest another type of thread I could use?
