Trains at Clapham Junction (27/02/2024) - This place is INSANE. 😮

Arguably Britain's best-known rail hub with a staggering 17 platforms and a train depot in the middle. This station is rail heaven or hell. Manic mayhem, without a plan you will be in a spin. Train operators include Southern, South Western, Gatwick Express, and London Overground. If you are lucky a bit of freight as well.
This video was recorded over three hours, from early afternoon to mid-afternoon. I split my visit up by starting out on platforms 12/13, then over to 9/10, and finally finishing on platforms 5 and 6.

I once had a girlfriend who lived right next to this place and I used to lie in bed trying to sleep, considering taking a can of WD40 to those bloody rails.

Some reasons for not sleeping are exceptable, but living next to Clapham Junction would be a nightmare for some.🤣

Thanks, I did film the class 66 on P17 but the video file was corrupt, the footage was shaky, do I decided to not include that clip. The train was 66 556 on the 6O44 Hanwell Bridge Loop to Purley Foster Yard.
