In a recent interview Austin mentioned that Keith Urban's team had been asking Home Free to cover "Blue Ain't Your Color" for years. I can imagine them bringing this one forward too. Take a wild guess why? Many artists who discover Home Free appreciate them and really want to hear a Home Free version of their singles because they're "Just That Good". Great vid as always. Take care all.
This is a good one even if not reacted to much so thank you for doing it. The boys are so good. Love their covers. Good reaction Dan. If you want to hear more Chance try Yours or I Can’t Outrun You. Also Austin and Tim did My Maria on Austin’s deck…it’s great. Have a good weekend.
The thing about Home Free covers is that 9/10 times it’s like a brand new song. Their version of this is one of the biggest comforts for me thru grieving my grandmother a few years ago. I had the pleasure of seeing them do this live and that is the closest to God/Church I’ve ever been. Hands down one of their best on a personal level.
This is the first Home Free video I knowingly watched - I was a Peter Hollens fan, and UA-cam kept showing it to me until I took notice. Then I heard some of their Christmas music and I was hooked. It's so cool the way the two songs are mashed-up, I didn't realise it was two separate tracks for a long time. I know you've done a lot of Home Free at this point, and honestly I think the best thing you could do would be have a look at their channel, and pick something you like the look of. It's Home Free, we'll be here, and it's great when reactors cover something more unusual.
I thought this was pretty good myself. I don't know why Sea Shanties was my first, why that was the one I picked. Because I'm pretty sure the day I recorded that they dropped another one. But we all have to have our firsts, huh. And thats basically what I do. There's still a lot of suggestions that come in, but when in doubt, I just look up and down their channel and see what I want to get at most.
Another great mashup by our guys. What a heartfelt feel good song. Love the lyrics & the catchy beat. All the solos were great & you are right Tim's bass & Adam's vocal percussion really drive this song. Another winner by them.
Glad to see that you are back. Always come back for your Home Free reactions. Most videos from Dive Bar Saints onward don't get blocked. They are on their own label now. Love that you recognize Tim and Adams percussion. That bass and Adams percussion is what sets Home Free apart from other acapella groups.
Darren Rust or Russ (not sure which it is) is a genius as he mashed up these two very different songs together !!! I LOVE THIS ONE it's a favorite. I wish I could have played this for my Liza, she would have loved it so much. A Home Free playlist sounds GREAT Dan !!!
Great reaction! I am glad to see reactors like you venture out into Home Free songs that may not be on people's radar unless they are true HomeFries. I think you would enjoy "I can't outrun you", "Cross that bridge," and "Remember this." For some live show fun, I recommend Story time with Tim, especially "Watch me whip" and "Tim's version of Green eggs and ham." Moreover, I really appreciate your "new" format...
The guys did a great job with this song. With their kind of sound it is just to me unbeatable. Chance, Rob, Austin and Tim do so dang good and Tim and Adam are amazing with the bass and beat going on. Austin and Tim with Chris Chatham have sung My Maria it is so good. Tim's brother in law plays guitar and Sebastian on the keys are great also. Thanks for a great reaction and you don't stumble around on the words any worse than anyone else does. :)
I loved it too! It was absolutely great. And The Playlist is now up. All future Home Free videos, including collabs with other artists, or solo stuff (Tim, Chance, Austin) will be put in there as well!
Glad you enjoyed this one, Stacey! and the playlist is now up. I have everything that I've done so far, including collabs with Home Free, and Solo stuff from the guys as well.
I just love the arrangements of their mashups...so seamless that you hardly realise that there's 2 songs. Love Austin & his tight vocals & Tim & Chance & Rob's solo bits & the awesome percussion by Adam & then the background harmonies are lovely. This is one of my favourites.
Yeah, you got that right, Donna. If I didn't know the difference, I would never have known it was a mashup. And sometimes mashups can take away from the individual songs, with the transitions. Glad it wasn't the case here!
I love their fusions! They’re transitions are seamless! Keith’s “Female” is a slow song, but I love the uptempo with “Woman, Amen”! This is actually the 3rd song by Keith they’ve covered. Aside from this and “Blue Ain’t Your Color”, they covered “A Little Bit of Everything way back early on after the Sing Off (I think late 2014) and Chris had the lead for the whole song. I’ve been a fan of Keith almost a decade. Of course, Home Free is my favorite A Capella group! Looking forward to seeing your Home Free playlist!
Can't say I'm a huge fan of his. As I've always been a rock guy. But there a couple of his songs that I like at the very least. And this was a great mash-up!
@@DanFromHali I’ve been a Rock fan for most of my life, but I do like a few Country Music artists. Home Free really introduced me to some I never heard of, but Rock is my first love of music! I was a teen during the first half of the 70’s so I had some great stuff to steer me that way.
Never heard this song before -- not really into country -- but I really like it. The question is am I now into country music or just into music by Home Free and its members?

Just one of their best. Love this so much
It really was good!
Have you seen the new Austin Brown Tim Foust release of "My Maria" from last week? Not sure if you knew about it. Glad to have you back.
Appears on Austin's channel. It's quite good.
Second that, it's really good
I third that! Also Austin Brown in TEARS IN HEAVEN, Adam Chance in SONG FOR HOME and DRIVERS LICENSE! All are so very good!

HOME FREE, as always, did a great job

Not that they really have any losers, but yeah!
Glad to see that you are back.

Thanks so much for reacting to this one! One of my favorites 😊 There's hopefully always room for more HF.

I love the energy in this one. Thank you.
ME TOO! great energy, great vibe, great performance!

Hi Dan. Loved this reaction. Thank you for the coming HF playlist. Now I can easily rewatch your reaction vids. Till next time.
I loved it too! It was absolutely great. And The Playlist is now up. All future Home Free videos, including collabs with other artists, or solo stuff (Tim, Chance, Austin) will be put in there as well!
Thanks for doing this one. I love Playlists because I don't like scrolling through everything else but I do and will lol
Glad you enjoyed this one, Stacey! and the playlist is now up. I have everything that I've done so far, including collabs with Home Free, and Solo stuff from the guys as well.
Hats off to the humble reactioneer! Actually, you are quite articulate, even if you wear it with a self-deprecating sense of humor.
This one is pretty, a toe-tapper. I love the lead hand offs. Thanks for your reaction
This is one of my favorites. Great reaction from you as usual.
Add another one to their list.❤Love it!!

Home Free Champions to Women everywhere ! and an Open Love letter to their wives !
Love the song and love your reaction!
Congrats on the 10000 subs. Love this mashup. It just sounds like one song.
Thank you so much Lynette!
Hi Dan, as I listen to you I see you already crossed the 10K. congratulations
I will watch any and all Home Free reactions!
Aha great! I don't think I have hit the bottom of that well yet, so more will be coming!
Great reaction 😊
Love these two songs signally, now love this combo even more.
Pretty sure Green tree is Hound and Fox,
❤❤

Please react (if you haven’t already) to Hillbilly Bone. I know you said you are a rock fan, but you may have a hillbilly bone in you. We all do. 🥰
