That is so sad. I absolutely loved the blindfolded nature of your playthrough. You have such great intrinsic knowledge of this game that it still was a very enjoyable experience. But in the end, your health is most important. Thanks for all your efforts, videos and entertaining content.
I'm sad, I thoroughly enjoyed you struggle on vulcanus and missing the lava mechanics. I never saw any of those comments. I found your channel through factorio. The crazy people building ultra effecient bases is not how I play I play more like you. Will keep watching your content.
Hey Quill, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed to see this series stop as I was really appreciating seeing the space age stuff being discovered and dealt with bit by bit. However if you're not enjoying it then you are absolutely justified in ending it, that frustration comes through and taints the end product. Maybe after a while you'll revisit it, if so great, if not then you provide plenty of other stuff to watch. Thanks for getting this far, as least I now know what to expect on Vulcanus!!
This was my favorite series of yours in a long time. I haven't watched any other Space Age content and haven't played any myself, it was great being blind with you together in this. :(
I'm really sorry to hear that you've been going through this. I can't speak for anyone else but I for one have been enjoying your Space Age content more than any other creator. It sounds like you're making the right choice for you, but don't let the noise made by empty vessels get you down.
awww I'm sorry this happened. I was really enjoying this but if this was affecting your mental health I understand. get some rest and enjoy space age in your own time
I really liked this format, it was slow, comprehensive and did a lot of the experimenting for me. Your own health goes first! And ofcourse, if you don't enjoy it this way, it's important you find a way that works for you.
I really enjoyed your full blind approach. That said, I understand where you're coming from. Self care must come first. Do whatever works for you in terms of mental health and enjoying your playthroughs.
Quill my man, I've been a lurker for ages and I hate to see this happen to you and your channel. I love how you play videogames and I loved how you played this Factorio run with all its ups and downs. I am sad to hear the negativity of some folks was eating away at you, especially as you were trying hard to deliver in this series. I want to wish you all the best on all your endeavours, the very best holidays with your dearest, and an incredible new year. Till the next lurk, mate. Big hug from the Netherlands
Thanks for all the videos so far. Enjoyed the ones you did post and went through. No regrets from me for watching them even if it stops here. The series was exactly what I expected and one of the only two I followed. You and Day9 who also does a blind playthrough. Stay jolly, especially during the holidays.
Sorry to hear you're ending the series. Totally understandable though, given some of the comments I read here. You didn't f* up anything - people expecting or even demanding certain styles of free content as if they're entitled to it are not doing youtube a favor. I am a lurker as well, and was playing along. Your first encounters with the worms were hilarious and I had fun :D
Sad to hear, but completely agree. I was really enjoying seeing you make the same basic mistakes that I made too, do some things right that I didn't get, and make some mistakes I got right. Take care. You, and your health, are more important than anything on UA-cam.
I haven't been an active participant, but I've been watching your videos for 15 years at this point, and I've been especially looking forward to more Factorio videos as I've put several hundred hours into it myself over the last month on top of the thousands of hours before space age. I fully appreciated your spoiler-free take on the game and enjoyed seeing you learn it incrementally, even as I cringed at a few things here and there. One thing that bothers me about the Factorio community is that there is now this idea that "there is a right way to play", which I adamantly refuse to accept and even a few years ago the mentality was that there's not right way as long as you're having fun. I hope you go back to space age. I want to see that, but I understand how much of a toll it can take.
Very sad to see this series ending, I was really enjoying learning the new mechanics alongside you and was looking forward to every new episode. You have nothing to apologize for. The shittiest people usually complain louder and in harsher ways but that doesn't mean they are right and should not be indulged. Hope the series will come back someday!
Loved this series. Part of the entertainment you provide is watching you figure things out. If I wanted to watch a perfectionist min/max play through I can find that elsewhere. I hope this doesn’t discourage you from coming back to Factorio in future. For every hateful comment there are hundreds of lurkers happily watching your content!
Hey Quil, I really loved watching this play through. I really love watching you play factorio in the past and these were the highlight of my day. I'm sorry you got such abuse and while I'm sad to watch this end you need to do what's best for your mental health. You have my support!
Quill I mostly lurk here and catch the odd stream, but I have been doing so for years and years and years. I tried to think about how long it might have been, but it must be well over 10 years by now of watching your videos. Quite often I have them on while I'm working or studying or painting, and you've become a comforting friendly presence in the background of many of my hours. Personally, I don't mind whether you're doing well in a game or not, because you always seem like you're having fun and to me that is the most important thing - you have fun playing and I have fun watching. I'm so sorry that an ignorant few have spoiled this playthrough for you - I understand the struggle that you're having and empathise entirely even if I will miss my regular dose of your Factorio run. I hope that from this comment, and all the many others I've seen, you realise just how much people like you and what you do here - keep it up!
I'm very happy you made this video to point out what such behavior is doing to you. I'm sorry you had to go all this stress and the way these comments went. People forget that there are actual human beings behind such channels and go to unnecessary stress. You are a great guy Quill bringing joy to all of us. I loved this series just because you struggled and had no idea what you were doing with certain things. I don't always like all your content but make the smart decision and just do not watch it and leave it to people that like it. I do feel sad that you feel the need to apologize at all! That should not be necessary at least in my personal opinion. You started making a movie you liked and that should be enough. Enjoy your time with family and friends these holidays and hopefully you catch some more sleep.
I am a long time follower of your channel. I can imagine what kind of toll it takes on you to deliver a good playthrough every time. I wouldn't be able to do it, but you are! All those years you do this. It is a wonderful achievement, keep it up! Since the chances of us ever meeting in person are very small, I’d like to offer you a cup of coffee this way. At first, I thought, I’ll give $5, but I quickly realized you can hardly buy anything with that nowadays! It’s a small gesture, but I hope it brings you a good feeling!
I have been watching you off and on for years and you’ve consistently put out great content. No one is perfect and it has always confused me how some people can hate so much on something they are not even playing but watching someone play. Keep doing what you’re doing.
I'm glad to see so many comments in support of you Quill, and I echo their sentiment. I really hope you get back to factorio, you're my favorite content creator for it. But do it when you feel like it, take your time, and know that the minority may be loud, but the majority really likes what you do. Keep up the good work!
Longtime lurker that's been watching you for years. Take care of yourself first and foremost. Like you I love the nature of "oh no this is going to come bite him later on" moments from these kinds of playthroughs. I loved watching you try to build space science on the planet at first. Internet hate is going to be internet hate and no one expects you to have to put up with it or be able to shrug it off. That's not you nor would it be normal. Hopefully this can help relieve some of the anxiety and help you get back to sleep at night. - Fellow anxious (non) sleeper
Sorry this happened Quill, but mental health comes first. Thank you for your videos for almost 15 years Quill, they have been one of the few constants in my life to always come back to. Keep being you Quill! Hope you can relax during the holidays.
I'm so sorry to hear you've been struggling so much, Quill. Please, first and foremost take care of yourself, your mental health is way more important than any game. I was enjoying your Factorio series, but you definitely made the right call to place it on suspend. Much love and happy holidays Quill! :)
Thanks for this update. I totally understand and support your decision, even though this was one of my favourite series lately, but you should never feel pressured or forced or uncomfortable playing a specific game, so suspending it is the right decision I think. There's something weird about Factorio in specific that somehow brings out the worst parts of backseating in some people, and that can really ruin the enjoyment of Livestreaming it or sharing a Let's Play. Anyway, thanks again for all the years of entertainment and happy holidays to you and the Family!
No need to apologise Quill. I have been watching your content for years and enjoyed it emensly. Not because you are a pro gamer, but because it is fun watching you play. Hopefully you don't take the hate to hard. Keep up the good work.
you make the most authentic and entertaining factorio content. I am always checking if new episode is out. Bad comments are people spewing out THEIR negativity, it has nothing to do with you. Whatever you decide to do I thank you for 25 episodes.
Long time follower, never left a comment before. This was my favorite series on UA-cam and one of your best playthroughs I've watched. Love your blind approach and figuring things out together. Please know that this series sparked so much joy for me and so many of us and the way you play is exactly the reason why we love to watch your content.
Just wanted to say thanks for the playthrough I enjoyed the reasoning that you put forward for your decisions and it helped me with my Factorio experience. Hope you have a great holiday and that it helps you process and feel better! Much love Quill! ❤
Hi quill, I really enjoy your content and I really enjoyed learning how to play factorio from you and with space age with you. Even bought the game. I am still glad you are re-focusing on things you enjoy. The last episodes did feel off and almost nothing is worth losing sleep over, especially a game. I appreciate your honesty and openness and will be sticking around for other games or a return of factorio in whatever shape.
I rarely comment on UA-cam, but I want to thank you for this series, because it was the reason I bought the expansion and came back to Factorio, and already played 40+ hours in the last two weeks alone. I was eagerly waiting for the next episodes every day, feels bad to know it had to end because of anonymous people being rude. But I'll support whatever you decide to do, and I'm sure the vast majority of those who follow you think the same!
Sorry that it was such a hard go on this trip around, I was enjoying this series. We love your content and just really want you to be happy. Because happy people in all jobs do their best work. Much love from Chicago.
Loved the series, thank you so much for the effort and take care on the holidays! Might binge-watch an old factorio series because of how much I'm gonna miss this one :D
I hope this is one of the hundred nice things you hear about yourself today! Thank you for all your series and great work! So sorry to hear you've been stressed about these mistakes, but this too shall pass my friend! It will all be good!
Just wanted to say that I loved this playthrough, I really enjoyed watching you figure out how things work in space age. I like seeing that problem solving. Thanks for all of the effort you put into all of your content, I appreciate it!
Loved this play-through, really enjoyed watching you discover the new stuff. Looking forward to you picking this one up or starting a fresh one when you are comfortable!
I really enjoyed your play through and was excited by your discoveries along the way. I don’t have the time nor the patience to play Factorio and I lived vicariously through your play through. There are those that essentially present the optimized game - like Nilaus, and then there was your video series which was like hanging out with your buddy who is much better at video games and then just living vicariously through them. bTW - I was sooooo looking forward to you figuring out the second secret of Vulcanis. The first being those territorial worms. Your joy is infectious. That said, I think Factorio is a series best told in an edited format where in real-time we see you meet roadblocks then cut and explain how you figured out how to overcome, then back to running head on into the next challenge. Each planet has their own unique set of challenges which need to be figured out. Fun to figure out as a gamer. I’m not so sure it’s fun to do it as a streamer with 8yr olds doing their best Statler and Waldorf impressions while you play.
Well, funny enough, your game playthrough was my major watch during my recovery from tonsil surgery. I am bummed to see the series take a pause, but I am proud to know you stand by your channel, the quality you put out for your followers, and the quality of interaction you have with those followers. One, if you aren't enjoying it, don't play it. As a supporter, I want to see you happy and enjoying a game. I come for the way you play games and your style of recording and commentary, so I want to see that with enjoyment behind it. I'm sorry the UA-cam moderation system did not live up to what you had hoped it would bring. Three, good on you for owning what did work, what didn't work, and your fix moving forward. It brings me a lot of pride and respect for you and your content. Many can't apologize, let alone do so for a mass group of people. I genuinely loved the approach you took to making this series; I thought it was fresh and allowed for realistic mistakes and the fun that comes with those, and a chance for the community to step in and help with the play through in a thoughtful and respectful way. I am saddened to hear a group of folks did not see it this way, but what can you do? “You can't please everyone” comes to mind here. Either way, I appreciate and respect your need to remove from this series and what it has brought. Keep up the great work, Quill, and have a happy holiday season from my family to yours!
Thank you for the video series, I greatly enjoyed it and all of the wild, wonderful spaghetti. I'm often playing my own factory on the other screen while seeing how you handle similar things in your own factory. I'm sorry to hear about the negative comments, and I 100% understand ending the series for your own well being. I've encountered similar myself to the point where on other environments such as Reddit, I don't check my comment replies anymore. Just too much negativity that seriously gets me down, so I fully understand it.
Thank you for your efforts in this game. I really appreciated your fresh take on the game and the blind nature. However, if you are not having fun its not worth it and I agree with any decision you make on the play through. Here's to a better new year, and to the many amazing streams and videos to come.
I liked the way you experimented and felt your way through the new content, as I had not started my own playthrough yet. I have since caught up to where you left off and I will miss seeing you figure this new stuff out. Hopefully we can get back to this run at a later date. Thanks for all the care and attention you put into these videos! It is appreciated. :)
Completely enjoyed your run of Factorio. It's been a great watch/listen as you try and discover new things. It actually made me jump back into factorio and I've been trying out things instead of just copying someone else's work. I hope you do pick it up again but what's most important is your health.
It's amazing how often asking yourself "what would TotalBiscuit do?" is the way to solve these sorts of problems. Anyway, leaving a positive comment just to say I love the way Quill18 does his thing both on yt and on twitch.
I've been a lurker the years on your channel and factorio had always been my favourite to watch, this run included. I'm sad to hear that it's going on pause, but also understand that your mental health is more important than my entertainment, and if this series is causing undue stress then it should be shelved. Hopefully this is one of hundred good comments you needed to balance out the bad, but just know you have a lot of people who really appreciate the work you do.
And this is why we can't have nice things everyone. Loved the series Quill, your playstyle in the vast majority of the games on your channel is the same style I play. I'm sorry your job involves people sometimes they are good too many times they are not. Keeping making content and having fun and I'll keep watching you are doing GREAT.
Love you Quill. Enjoyed the series and have enjoyed your work for a long time. Been consuming your videos since the SimCity days (long, long time ago). Will continue to support you in all of your work.
Sad to see this go, was loving this series! Entirely up to yourself if you want to end things, but I do hope you thoroughly read these comments here and see the love from all of us ❤️
Aw thats sad, i only watched your playthrough as I only wanted a blind playthrough. Everyone else knows what they're doing and knows what they're going to encounter, its kinda boring, you know enough where its not rage enducing but also don't know what to expect which makes it fun watching you work out what to do on the fly
I'm sorry to hear that people pushed you to not want to continue with this (and if I was one of them, doubly so). I did enjoy it a lot, and having started my own new game as a result of watching your spoiler free game, I'm having a lot of fun, but also, you're right - it's gotten hard! I love watching the videos you put out whether they're at the "grand master" level or the "Oh, this is going badly" level. I'm sad to hear that there's so much negativity being leveled at you, and wish you all the best.
I was excited to see the thumbnail and to watch a new episode of the series. It sucks that people wreaked it for you, I really enjoyed this series! This series was as good as I wanted it to be, I hope it gets picked up again in the new year so we can see where the factory and the space stuff progresses to! I also thought you going in blind was a lot of fun, we can't all be perfect players and watching you learn the mechanics blind was great, especially to someone who is still learning even just the basics of the game. I could even see myself being amused and still enjoying the game even if I was a pro, we all start at the bottom and seeing the struggles I had or the missteps I took happen in other games is fun to see in videos.
Sticks and stones will break your bones... and words are even worse. I thought your playthrough was super fun, and experiencing it with you for the first time all over again was great. I hope you have a lovely Christmas, you legendary quality human being.
I've been watching for a number of years. Nowhere near as long as a lot of followers so it is no record, but in that time your content has been a much needed distraction from real life. I have never thought your content has been anything but to a high standard. I enjoy it when you are knowledgeable and teaching how a game works just as much as when it is a case of 'Just send it and see what happens'. Poor Kerbals. I thank you for both.
Factorio is a second job and the new planets is like learning how to play the game all over again. So I totally get if your slowing down or ending the series. I don't know how many times I've restarted a save file because I like the familiar the beginning brings. So you keep doing you! Ignore the mean comments. You're doing great man. I love the refreshing take you bring to factorio.
Lurker here…I just wanted to thank you so much for this series. I was greatly enjoying it, but I fully support your reasons for needing to step away from it. I have never played Factorio myself, but I have always greatly enjoyed watching you play. Watching you discover so many new things in this play through was great fun for me. I wish you a wonderful holiday season and I am hoping you have a much better new year! Take care of yourself and thank you again!
I love most of your video and when I don’t I simply stop watching, but internet being the internet I can see that people don’t respect this. About Factorio I also feel very stressed when playing even without recording so I feel you. Hopefully you’ll enjoy your nights back, we love you
Glad you are taking care of yourself and your channel. I appreciated your vulcanus episodes, gave me the courage to take on the demolisher and four tanks later finally succeed 😅. My first reaction to the title was wondering how you beat the game in 8 min from where your last episode ended. Sad it won’t continue but I hope it comes back in the future and can be something you and the community enjoys.
I hope that you do get to experience Space Age in your own way. I think a lot of the expectations from people watching (including me) was to see how other people approached the DLC. Yours was definitely the least spoilery, for sure. But as you mentioned, it also meant that you were playing your series in a way that was probably very difficult to watch for other Space Age pioneers. Even if you only play if offline, I sincerely hope that you find the motivation to come back to space age and figure out a full playthrough. It's certainly worth it and rewarding for any Factorio veteran such as yourself. Good luck, and know that you have support in whichever path you choose to follow.
Man, factorio is such an awesome game, and I know you love it, hopefully that love comes back to you, even if you just play ist in your personal time. Alle the best to you!
I've been mostly uninterested in Factorio, and this series has been the best demonstration I've seen of the fun to be had in this game. It's incredibly disappointing that some people hate so hard on something that other people are enjoying so much. Blessings to you and whatever you decide to start next.
Sorry to hear this 😢 I really like blind playthroughs as well, and to see people find things out from scratch. There are plenty of other Factorio content creators that handles the optimizing and min/maxing of the game in detail, those are great when wanting to learn to be better at the the game. But it is also very enjoying to watch someone struggle with finding out the new mechanics. Hope you get back to Factorio Space Age at some point!
Hey quill, so also a lurker here. I have setup youtube to not show any comments, likes and other interactivity elements. I did this because i know i will be influenced by those things however hard i try not to. And i know it sometimes changes my mood to the worse, or leads me to watching things i really do not care. Maybe its also good as a content creator to have some layer in between. Maybe some moderation, maybe some shiny new ai tool which just filters out things which change your mood for the worse. Its not about having a thicker skin, its about choosing which information you want to consume. Consuming all is a horrible idea. I love your content very much and i always look forward to it. But most importantly you should enjoy what you do. And as a side note: In every video where i thought you did overlook something, you allways catched it later in the video. I am so very impressed by that level of attention to detail! So see you around! :)
Sad to hear about this. I really enjoyed the series & looking at the comments, I wasn't alone. Hopefully we can get more in the future when you're in the mood for it.
Awe, Quill18! My heart hurts for you! I’ve been a lurker on your channel for I think at least a decade. I’ve always loved watching you play, hearing you talk, and learning about new games. It sucks that there are other people who can’t find the enjoyment in your content that I do. I’ve enjoyed this series, especially when it started getting hard, because I’ve watched you be soooo much better than me at a lot of games I find interesting, but seeing you work through problems in the game was really cool. I hope you won’t let this experience weigh you down. Maybe it wouldn’t hurt to talk to a therapist about it? Just to work through the way it makes you feel. Im sorry there are people in the world that would rather put people down, but I just wanted to pile onto the other side of the scale as much as I can and say thank you for all the years of wholesome entertainment and for being you.❤
please try to come back to this series.. your blindfold approach is actually fun to watch and I think even developers (any game developers) have things to learn from that
Awww. I absolutely loved this series and looked forward every day to new episodes of. Consider enlisting the help of someone to vet the comments for you, given how much they weigh on you. I think you're giving the negative people a bit too much credit - if they want other content, they should watch other content. You are hands down my favorite Factorio player, so I truly hope you feel like coming back to this playthrough in the future. People flaming you across channels for a niche series is absolutely obscene and gross. If I wanted to watch a minmaxing super sweaty player, I would...but that's just super boring. I love to watch you learn and make mistakes...it's so much better than a lot of the short form slop we get on this platform these days. I've watched you since your WoW days - know that you and your content are loved, buddy! Enjoy your holiday, friendo.
Dagnabbit, I really enjoyed this series, I didn't watch it to see someone do a perfect playthrough of the game, that's a tutorial, I didn't want to watch a tutorial, I wanted to watch someone discover the game
It's truly disheartening to hear about the negativity Quill has been facing. It's a shame that some people can't appreciate the effort and passion that goes into creating content like Quill's. It's important to remember that negativity doesn't reflect on the quality of the content, but rather on the character of the person expressing it. It's wonderful that you're reaching out with such kind words of support. I hope Quill can find the strength to continue creating the content they love, and that they have a wonderful Christmas and New Year filled with joy and positivity. Remember, Quill, your content brings joy to many, and your hard work is appreciated! xxx
Hope you find the inspiration to pick up a factorio play through again! DataEngineerPlays had a rough time at first with this expansion doing it blind, I think he eventually gave up with the blind nature because of the pressure to produce a video and make it interesting to watch when all you are doing is spiralling in information trying to figure out new mechanics on one planet while biters are disrupting your supply on Nauvis and resources are running low on another. Once you get through the grind of figuring out the new mechanics it's a really superb game and is super satisfying to play so I hope you can get back into it :) Love you content as always! back to lurking...
I was really enjoying this series. Refreshed your account multiple times per day to check if a new video was available. Sometimes I even stood up longer to catch you on your usual upload time. I hope you feel better soon.
Sorry to hear you feel down about this. I liked the more chaotic approach but totally understand where you are coming from. Happy holidays and here's hoping for some amazing building in 2025.
Long time fan, really enjoyed this series as it was going. In no way sad you stopped this run (tho if you continue, I'm game too 😉). Seeing all the positive comments, I think we all like you a lot and we want what's best for you. Thanks for this video.
I loved your playthrough of the new Factorio. It is a difficult expansion and there aren't any established ways of playing yet. I used the decider circuit on my own space ships. Great playthrough and hopefully you do another.
i love everything you do quill, i watch all of your content but i also want you to be happy with your work. i will be hear waiting to watch whatever you do next. please dont let the haters get you down, there are alot more non vocal people who love your content.
Really sorry to hear the experience you've had with this series, I've been watching your content for years and always enjoy seeing how you experience a game. Not sure I've ever made a comment, maybe once or twice. I was really excited for Space Age and I sense from your earlier videos in the series that you were too. I hope this experience doesn't tarnish your enjoyment of this great addition to a great game too much. I haven't watched right up to the latest videos (still you're back on nauvis where I am in the series) but I am excited to see you experiencing the new content blind like I did. It's really unfortunate that people get into the comments and berate creators for not playing in the 'meta' way, I don't think they really want literally every video to be exactly the same with all the same solutions in a game like this surely? There's plenty of content out there of people who have spent hundreds of hours making the most optimal crazy factories, I just wanted to enjoy watching you discover things! Hope you're doing ok!
It's really sad to hear this, this series brought me back to Factorio (and you originally brought me to Factorio 6 years ago) and I really enjoyed it! It really is a sad world, where so many people feel the need to spread heate. I just don't understand, if you don't like a video, just don't watch it. I hope with some time off you'll be ready to also play Factorio again in the future but in the meantime I'll enjoy your other videos! Keep it up quill!
Damn that bites. I really enjoyed the playthrough. But the only reason I want to watch your content is because you always seem to have so much fun doing it, so if you have to force yourself to record Factorio - don't!
Thanks so much for taking the time to explain your position. I am super dissapointed that this excellent series is going on hiatus, I loved it so much, but you are absolutely right and if you are just getting hassled by trolls then by all means, take whzt ever measures you need to. The true fans, the ones who quietly love spend time with you, will always be there for your next adventure! We love you, Quill.
This playthrough was my first foray into Factorio. I was thoroughly enjoying the series, it was actually more exciting to me than the Rimworld series - and you’re the reason I play Rimworld now! Shame about the haters that would take a toll on you for sure. Keep up the good work Quill!! 🖤 Sending love from Australia.
Hi Quill, I left a couple of comments on your Factorio series and was a bit confused by the moderation thing indeed. I left some (I hope) spoiler free-ish suggestions/hints but never really mentioned how much I enjoyed the series, I'd like to do that now, I really liked it and also helped me articulate some feedback to some of the changes Wube made to the game. As someone very sensitive to negative feedback I completely understand your motivation, hope you do well going forward.
Quill, I'm sorry this was causing you to lose sleep. I wasn't really watching this series because I didn't want spoilers myself, but I want to applaud you for you incredible candor in this video, and how incredibly self-aware you are and fair you are being to those who were not handling messaging you with the same level of thought on their side. I hope you rest easy. You did the right thing and I'm thoroughly impressed by how you handled this situation.
I don't see many of your videos, because I like to watch more advanced videos (of factorio) and I don't have much time to spend on youtube either. But from time to time I love to see some of your series because of the way you are and explain everything (I met you from the KSP series, fantastic indeed). So dude, don't let haters get what they want or change your way of being. Many of us like your content. Do what is best for your health, and keep what is good.
Man, I was really looking forward to seeing Quill experience more of this game. I do hope at the very least you get to play through the rest of this glorious game, even if its off camera.
It is really sad to hear that you aren't continuing the series. I enjoyed learning the space age expanison with you and always looked forwarded to the next video however I understand why feel like you need to stop the series. Thank you for creating an explainer video of why you stopped rather than just randomly stopping and just not bringing it up. I actually just finished watching another creator who just randomly stopped making videos on a game without saying anything which is hurtful when you have invested a lot of time watching. You are one of my favourite creators on here and though I do move around depending on the games you cover, I always keep checking in to see what you are doing as I enjoy your style and look forward to watching more games with you in the future.
That is so sad. I absolutely loved the blindfolded nature of your playthrough. You have such great intrinsic knowledge of this game that it still was a very enjoyable experience. But in the end, your health is most important. Thanks for all your efforts, videos and entertaining content.
Me toooooooooooooooooooo!
Lurker here. Loved the videos. Shame on the haters. Back to lurking...
It was the series I watched out for most on UA-cam. Sad that the loud annoying people win

Same same
I'm really sorry to hear that you've been going through this. I can't speak for anyone else but I for one have been enjoying your Space Age content more than any other creator. It sounds like you're making the right choice for you, but don't let the noise made by empty vessels get you down.
Might sound weird, but this video nicely sums up why I like watching Quill. The way he cares about things.
Minority always loud.
Majority satisfied and quite.
awww I'm sorry this happened.
Ah, that's very sad. This was the only LP series I was eagerly waiting for you to upload recently. :(
I really enjoyed your full blind approach.
Sad to see the wrap up of this series, was enjoying the discovery of the Space Age along with you!! Feel better Quill, and happy holidays
I completely understand your decision and where it is coming from, but I'm sad to see the negativists win
This is my first comment ever. I was really enjoying the video series, and thats on me for not sharing with you. Hatters are going to hate.
Sorry to hear this, Quill. I really loved this series in particular of all your Factorio series. Keep up the good work!
Loved this play-through, really enjoyed watching you discover the new stuff. Looking forward to you picking this one up or starting a fresh one when you are comfortable!
Sorry to hear you're dealing with this.
I hope you feel better about the whole thing soon, it's not good to stress about this sort of thing.
Sorry to hear that you are experiencing this! I really look forward to your factorio videos and loved the watch them.
Feels bad man, I loved the playthrough but this is totally understandable and thanks for the clarification btw!
Well this makes me really sad, I was loving this playthrough and looked forwards to your releases. Look after yourself man.
I loved the exploratory gameplay of this brand new and advanced game. I hope the next playthrough of factorio give you more happyness
Really hope this series continues, I absolutely loved it! Love all your contest Quill
Stuff happens. Very elegant way of dealing with the series, Quill.
Thanks for all the great work.
Happy holidays and happy new year!!
Im sorry there are people in the world that would rather put people down, but I just wanted to pile onto the other side of the scale as much as I can and say thank you for all the years of wholesome entertainment and for being you.❤
I was Loving your blind play trough! it was great discovering space travel and worms with you!
please try to come back to this series.. your blindfold approach is actually fun to watch and I think even developers (any game developers) have things to learn from that
Sad that you felt like that Quill, I really enjoyed the series and the bind play through! Hope you will get back to it some time in the future!
