Another wonderful video from KnowledgeBank that breaks down a complicated DAX measure with 6 nested DAX functions. I really like how the presenter breaks these large measures down into small manageable components to help understand the approach. And again, like previous videos, KnowledgeBank's approach to solving actual business problems through DAX is most helpful. Keep up the great work in 2021 -- and Happy New Year!
That was a good post . But how to create a table with 4 wks 8wks and 16 wks data . Also table with current 4 wks vs previous 4wk comparision . Is it possible to create a date hierarchy for 4,8and 12 so that we can show it in single chart and enable hierarchy
Nice work knowledgebank. Quick question, could also use datesinperiod(date, max(date), -1, month) and then parallelmonth function to accomplish same? Granted less elegant... keep up the great content, bravo.
I love this but want my latest week sales to include the current week we are in, so if my week ending is 4/02/2022 I want the latest 4 weeks ending 4/02/2022. (Not the 4 weeks before 4/2/22). How would it change the Dax formula?
I am trying to build a report which is based on a similar logic, but it seems I am unable to open your downloaded file .I get this error message "File uses the enhanced dataset metadata format. These models aren't currently supported in Power BI report server". Is there any other version which could open on my desktop? Any help in this regard is greatly appreciated
Searching everywhere for this sort of tutorial. Appreciate your time & effort.
I have NEVER seen code so clearly explained. Thank you
Really like the way you combined the year and week number to use a sequence. I have been using a much longer formula. Your way is so short and sweet!

there might be a way to do it using datesinperiod, the only issue is that it does not support WEEK as a parameter.. and thank you!

you need to get the latest version of Power BI Desktop
Thanks a lot for this video! How would you calculate the last 4 weeks of sales versus previous 4 weeks to get the growth %?
good question.. i might do a video about it in a near future... stay tuned
Great work! Could you please share me the dataset file.
Thank you👍
Welcome 👍
