This is one of your best concepts I've seen. Reminds me of a similar design I built back in 1970 using radiata pine and exposed beams throughout. Couple of nice modern twists with this one. Well done. Bushyboy Oz.

Kitchen is very tight. Did I miss a laundry room or space for a washer and drier? I don't think you need the narrow wrap around porch that is in front/side of the living room and the side of the bedroom. I would expand the interior living space instead. The larger porch area is very nice.

Love that covered porch/deck, open floor plan and spacious bedrooms! At 2200 sq ft I was expecting a 3 BR home. Can the bathroom be accessed by guests via the barn door in the dining room? I really like this home! But do I want to clean it? YES! It does need a 2nd egress door though. 😮

There are two doors into the living area, one to the left as you step onto the porch and the other near the kitchen counter. No quick access to the back yard, however.

That deep porch is great for outdoor living. One bedroom need not have a door directly into the dining area, as it also can access the hall to the bathroom. Since kitchen storage is scarce, perhaps that wall could be used for a pantry cabinet. I presume that the laundry machines are in that bathroom hall behind louvered doors.

I wouldn’t build a 2200 sq fr home with only 2 bedrooms anyway. I think it includes the outdoor living space under beam which I like but not enough to build it. Honestly, I won’t BBQ on my front porch unless I’m living on acreage.

Love the porch, but the house is way too small! Three bedrooms would be more practical! I do l9ve the ceiling in the living room!

Jede Fläche /Ecke anders. Mir fehlt jegliche Harmonie.
Aber ueber Geschmack laesst sich bekanntlich streiten...
