How you consider the load of member weight ? What does UNI mean? It will be a very informative video if you would have showed the manual calculation else it is like we have to accept the values and when we do the same thing for our project, we are blank.

It is Uniformly Distributed Load with with same load intensity at start and end point. Normally it is used to represent the weight of the wall.

I think it is specified to consider the weight coming from the wall as UDL -- (3.3m wall height - 0.3m beam depth)*0.25m exterior wall thickness*19.2kN/m3 unit weight of brick wall - roughly 15kN/m.
Hi, may i know how your 'output viewer' shows the results by level/metre? Because mine shows the results according to node and beam which im not sure those belongs to which height since my structure has 33 floors height. Its hard for me to analyse by one by one

how would steel bars effect the modulus of elasticity of concrete section? I need the moment of inertia and modulus of elasticity of reinforced concrete section with effect of percentage of steel. actually I need it because I need stiffness of column to calculate the stiffness of whole story of the building. I modeled a RC building in etabs. etabs gives me stiffness of the story after I run the analysis. but i haven't even run design. How did it calculate the story stiffness even before the reinforcement percentage in column is determined. Is it calculating stiffness of columns with no reinforcement in it ? or is it calculating stiffness of column with minimum required percentage of steel? will it change the stiffness of columns and then the stiffness of whole story after I run design in accordance with the amount of steel it calculates for each column? is the stiffness of the whole story sum of stiffnesses of all the columns of that story?

I guess it is total weight of all the members excluding slab divided by the plan area.
Sir i have a problem. The problem is that after doing analysis staad showing that " udl is not define for member 3 or 4 etc......" so what is thr problem ? And how can i remove it???? Sir please help me.
