Hi I'm having an issue at 2min 50sec. After you highlight, how do you command? I'm not sure if its a Mac issue but I can't seem to complete this part of the tutorial. Any help would be appreciated as this tutorial has been amazing so far.
Ms Maggie, why you do it this way, and not using the default Whiskers and plot that excel shows? By selecting the data you want and create the plot? Thank you
When you make it by hand you have more control over the final results. When you select the default, it doesn't look as good and you can't make as many changes to the appearance.
Lifesaver! But, how do I make Sample 1 and Sample 2 different colours? It only allows me to change the colours of Boxes 1 and 2, but I want to compare a test to a control and would like them to be different colours.
in some tutorials here in youtube, they tell differently, they make minimum is minimum but you calculated their differences, which one is true Im not sure now....:( Im confused, of course I see what you do but everybody does different
HI Maggie, thank you for sharing this video it is extremely helpful! I was wondering if it would be possible to plot a set of points on the whisker plot so that someone could highly the data compared to the box plot. Example if you wanted to see the point 9.7 in sample 1 on the chart Thanks!
I referenced you in my research paper because I wouldn't have gotten the right graphic representation without this 😄 thanks
Used your method of doing a box and whisker in my recent publication (In press). Thank you, this method rocks!
Thanks, Maggie. This is what I need for my presentation next week.
thank you for making it manual rather than just selecting "Box and Whisker Chart" option. By this way, I was be able to prepare it in Excel 2010.

Can we go directly to Box n whiskert chart option
There is an automatic chart but these look nicer and have more options for changing the look.
where is the "command" function she said in the video?
the online version of 365 is extremely limited and doesnt even have the "Chart Design" tab needed to make the box plot. Great video tho
FANTASTIC!
It is now available as one of the charts.Just update your version.
Thank You Very much!!!

idfk
The command button on your keyboard. I am not sure about other companies, but Apple laptops have one on the right and left side of the space bar.
Thank you!
There is a Chart type called "Box and Whisker chart". You don't need to make it manually....
This won’t show you outliers though.
Idk whats going on here
WOW MAGGIE WOW THANK YOU FOR EXISTING
Wish there was an outlier example though
thank you!
