  • Re uploaded with missing goals from 75/76 season.
Peter Lorimer was just 15 years and 289 days when he made his first-team debut for Leeds United in 1962.
By the time he’d finished his second spell with the club 24 years later, he’d played 779 times and had become the club’s record scorer with 255 goals.
A stunning array of spectacular goals quickly earned him the nickname "Hotshot" and he was widely regarded as having the hardest shot in football.
This is a collection (in chronological order) of every televised goal in the public domain that he scored including 3 of his Scotland goals.
A big thanks to Just Leeds-steakandsid , sp1873, lufcfilms, winsfordtown, FootballGaffesGalore, TJS Sports, Leeds4EvEr1992 and Dave Waller for helping to make this video possible.

Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for "fair use" for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. Fair use is a use permitted by copyright statute that might otherwise be infringing. Non-profit, educational or personal use tips the balance in favor of fair use
    Fair use
Additionally, the fair use defense to copyright infringement was codified for the first time in section 107 of the 1976 Act. Fair use was not a novel proposition in 1976, however, as federal courts had been using a common law form of the doctrine since the 1840s (an English version of fair use appeared much earlier). The Act codified this common law doctrine with little modification. Under section 107, the fair use of a copyrighted work is not copyright infringement, even if such use technically violates section 106. While fair use explicitly applies to use of copyrighted work for criticism, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, or research purposes, the defense is not limited to these areas. The Act gives four factors to be considered to determine whether a particular use is a fair use: the purpose and character of the use (commercial or educational, transformative or reproductive); the nature of the copyrighted work (fictional or factual, the degree of creativity); the amount and substantiality of the portion of the original work used; and the effect of the use upon the market (or potential market) for the original work.

His sheer power overshadowed his dribbling and passing skills. He was also a good goalkeeper. What a great player by anybodies standards.

RIP Peter Lorimer. You were one of the strikers I pretended to be in the park when I was little. I would always score volleys shouting "Lorimer!"

Thanks so much Jimmy for posting this. Lorimer was one of my idols as a kid along with T Francis, J Greenhoff, B Latchford and Keegan etc. I was born within a mile of Birmingham's St. Andrews ground and all my family were ardent Blues supporters of course, but I always had an eye on Derby Cty and Leeds because their games were always exciting, chaotic at times, lots of goals and very muddy in the case of the Baseball Ground. I remember vividly Derby 8-2 Tottenham and Leeds 7-0 Southampton so exciting as a 7 year old! Liverpool were the ultimate back then in terms of execution but Derby & Leeds were such a great teams full of maverick players like Bremner, Hector, Gemill and Lee. Lorimer beat some of the best and celebrated goalies of the time - possible ever? Balls-out no gloves or leggings blokes who dived upon frozen mud like Corrigan, Stepney, Clements and an ageing Banks. God I could talk all night about those days! Thanks again mate, I was temporarily taken back to the halcyon days of football to a time before the weight of the world had crushed my spirit - and before soccer became a middle-class advertising campaign full of millionaire princesses whose names I struggle to even pronounce!

WOW, I watched it all again with tears in my eyes mate. Midlands teams were strong back then: Stoke, Derby, Blues & Wolves... happy to say V*lla din't come good until the Gray and Little era. What great support Lorimer had from his midfielders. I loved the yellow away kit - painted my Big League and Striker players in Birmingham and Leeds colours. Old man very happy!

Never forgot as a kid when the force of Lorimers shot knocked Alex Stepney into the net. One of the greatest.

How i lost my marbles. When i was a boy, i had various marbles, each one represented a footballer for matches, I was a Chelsea fan (blue ones Chelsea, white Leeds of course, red Liverpool...). My cousin took some in the garden and lost 2- unforgiveable!- Peter Osgood of Chelsea, and Peter Lorimer! Never seen again.
