The most underrated and key thing about all of this is ....he slides! Doesn't take the unnecessary hits yet still makes the runs.
Yeah he actually takes less hits when he runs the ball because he’s faster than the other players and gets out of their way
Yeah, he slides because he made a huge mistake of not doing that in college.
And he slides because he's already takin a beating in his first year and half in the pocket unfortunately.
They slide now? They slide now.
He's generally been very good this year at avoiding unnecessary hits. His sliding has been effective. He's been getting out of bounds well. And he's no longer trying to run people over.
Each day, he continues to grind his game. And he will play until the end

Morgan Freeman himself said if nobody recognized color, racism wouldn’t exist. You make racism relevant by bringing race into anything. Nobody should favor him because he is black. They should praise him for his game. Like any player. Race should never be brought into it. You don’t hear anybody say “Jewish Excellence” and one could say they endured worse then Black. We’re talking Mass Genocide, Starvation, Beatings, Torture, and Slavery. It’s not right to say one is worse then the other because both should have never happened and it’s horrible. But do a by the numbers on both

That 61 yard touchdown was amazing I hope he continues to have success!
Hesitation mid air throw.. landed and Bob weave lil bit.. rest is history.. give this man a true Oline.. he will excel..
When he gets weapons it’s over. He is built different.
Running QBs won't last long running like that. Will get hurt and shorten his career longevity.
@@micaheldey1981 Darnell Mooney is pretty good
What some people missed is Justin was gonna throw to an open recover mid run and then saw he turned away and couldn’t see Justin and so he immediately recognized to hold onto it and do it himself
As a defensive player myself. There's nothing more frustrating than a QB running all over you.
Facts especially when you know it’s coming and still can’t stop it 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This was me playing madden ‘04
Especially in this slide era oh I’d be even more pissed 😂
i agree. as much of an unpopular opinion as it probably is, if it were up to me i'd ban QB scrambling from the game. it's just too hard to defend against.

Imagine what Fields can do in the passing game with better receivers
For real For real 💯
While he himself hasn't been perfect throwing the ball, the amount of catchable balls dropped by this wr core is painful.
Sound like something familiar With The Qb In Baltimore Right lol
@@TheMrPorter if a shitty o line means he has to adapt and be able to rush like that then I guess it’s a fair trade 🤷🏽♂️😂
Not much. He’s a running back
Impressive. Always a headache when a QB can run like this unless you’re a fan of the team.

I never saw him run that fast before yesterday. He will be getting a piss test today.😀

Wouldn't shock me if he was. Guys athletically peak in roughly 25-30 yo range. Fields is 23

I knew Fields was fast but damn... he blew my mind on that run, still maintaining that speed and balance like that. He's getting better every time and I'm loving it. Cannot wait for next season I hope the GM is as good as they say he is cause he's going to have a lot to work with next season as far as I understand it.
4.4 speed. That's reciever type speed.
Fields is sub 4.4 he stumbled out the blocks he’s like a 4.38 guy which I now realize is almost the same but still
He struggled at the beginning of the season but Justin Fields has put it together! If the Bears stay patient and build around him next year I see the bears contending soon
Because his coaches were trying to force him into their system. Now they're calling plays to his strengths. If they get a line and some receivers watch out
@@briancrawford69 they were not trying to force him into anything, new systems are always awkward to start out. It took them less than half a year to get Fields humming - they deserve credit for that

He won the game. Fields made history so if there was ever a time for you to make history, it’s now. Change the bears official record to 4-5 because dolphins didn’t beat them, suspect officiating did.

Typical Chicago - traded him for a 6th rounder - my prediction he will be Pittsburgh's long term answer at QB - could be the steal of the century!!!
If the bears use their cap space right, fields will be a top qb next year
That's a fact
i doubt that. i do think they could be a good team, but i wouldn't go that crazy
Lol this aged well
He played smart. Despite how many times he ran, he really didn't take that many hard hits this game. That tells me this style of play is sustainable for Fields.
Agree
This is huge, because first half of the season was littered with so many dumb decisions. He looks so much more comfortable and aware - an entirely new player to my eyes.
This is called GROWTH. HE DIDNT EVEN RUN THIS MUCH AT OHIO ST BUT MAN HES BECOME UNLOCKED
He didn’t run this much at osu for 2 reasons he’d had garret Wilson and Chris olave to throw to and he had an nfl caliber o line
@@jackrogers9660 Also I am sure his coaches warned him to not run and only as the last resort...

I feel like Fields is going to have a Josh Allen like resurgence if they provide him a better oline and a better receivers
@Jfufj allen was more inaccurate than Fields his first 2 years

Fields is showing flashes and CHI fans just have to continue to be patient. You never know what you have under center.
This was more than flashes. He straight up showed greatness for a whole game.
It’s no longer flashes you have seen the future the last three games and he’s only going to get better. Just think about when the Bears start to put players around him how dangerous he’s gonna be he’s a lethal thrower.
If I didn't know what I was watching, I wouldn't know he broke such an insane and long standing record.

I really liked how they played fields. He found the open space and worked off that. He has the legs and the strength of a running back. He’s going somewhere, and it’s gonna be fun watching him
Justin Fields, The Ultimate Blue Chip!!🔥🔥
Anybody that thinks Justin can't throw doesn't really watch the bears he has a shitty O line and no wide receivers please explain to me how that that equals him being able to pass. He has a strong arm and is accurate if he had any kind of line and wide receivers he would show you that.
he would rather throw than run but he has to move the chains to keep drives alive
I have a theory that O-lines are more important than the quarterback in predicting QBR and passer rating for the starting QB on any given Sunday.
Best QB we've had in my lifetime. I hope Claypool reported that mugging to the police. That was a garbage no-call.
@Jfufj Cutler couldn't score over 30 points if his life depended on it.

@Jfufj Jay was not a leader, and he did not scramble; without an o-line he was toast.
A bears qb with a nfl record unbelievable
A good NFL record, not like something for most interceptions in a game or something like that 🤣

Absolutely incredible
I'm tired of casual fans saying Justin can't throw. No offensive line or wide receivers but you still think he should have great passing numbers

And some talent around this young man
And this is from a Vikings fan
You will next year bears have HELLA money 💰
Fields using his legs and uber athleticism to open up the offense. Kudos to OC Luke Getsy.
Fields reminds me a LOT of OG Russell Wilson. The advantage Justin has over Wilson is that he’s a lot bigger and seemingly stronger. If he can improve his passing game a bit and they surround him with talent, Chicago could be on to something.
We got our qb1 :)
starting to break out in a big way. big back to back games of improvement. even though they lost, this is why we drafted Fields. with all the cap space and draft picks next year, we could be in position to contend for the division.
I think he was the best quarterback out that draft if he get better WR's and a O-Line he going make teams pay.
I find it funny how people forget he had 5 Tds and 12 ints and 10 fumbles last year in only 10 starts.

He learned the hard way against Clemson . Dude got ejected and Fields threw 6 TD's , but the pain was very real .
I love the pump fake on his 61-yard run. I think that froze the defenders enough to spring him.
I also liked to see him slide to avoid hits.

You gotta feel good that Chicago has an exciting young qb they can root for and maybe in a few years he could in the playoffs contending for an mvp if they do what they did for fields like the dolphins did for tua
He's so goddamn sneaky with that ball I love it... He's fooling defenses regularly and I don't know if anyone will figure it out.
Great game by Fields. I wonder if he gave the ref the game ball, though.
QB1 AND RB1 AT THE SAME TIME.
Lamar Jackson who? It’s Fields time to shine with his legs 🔥

@@nickcampbell9258 maybe not deep ball wise but he do got a hell of a strong bullet arm. He gotta work on his cross body passes and when he’s running out the pocket passes. His first instinct is run for the first instead of keeping us eyes downfield and then running if need be
