In 2016 before I started the course I spent a year doing Kim Michaels wonderful book through Jesus, Master Keys of Personal Christhood. I hope I got the name right. I have had an active relationship with Jesus since he came in like the fire dept when I was 20. The point is after a year with the scheduled chapters, major difficulty was his challenge was first to awaken to your spirituality outside of the body. I had enough over the years to know I had done that BUT the second challenge of Christ was not to drag him into our egoic/mental box. That's when I learned how tricky the ego is. It was painful. Then I was led to the course. I have followed Jesus for so many years. I have changed a great deal and every day just reveals more and more to do. But I can say now I'm fine as I am.hard to write fifty years of spiritual experience in a paragraph. Just have to clean up some stuff. Thanks David.

I find it humorous that many of us (who are drawn to ACIM and spiritual growth) have stayed stuck longer in the dream/movie/hallucination by falling for the trick (by the trickster ego mind) that we can contort these teachings about Mind into a belief in "Manifestation".... a belief that if we say enough affirmations, and if we visualize clearly enough, etc. (all being done by the ego mind), we (meaning our egos) can manifest/create within the "crystal ball", with "crystal ball goals" and solving "crystal ball problems". Thank you for the clarity. It's about accepting that "Everything has already been solved and that the Correction has already happened in The Mind (not the ego/small mind)" and all I need to do is RELAX AND REMEMBER. Not fall for the trap that I (again, confusing "I" to mean the ego "self") need to learn to manifest "better" (or feel guilt that I'm not doing it right!!!)
Yup all temporary symbols and idols used by the ego to distract us (if we get them) from our eternal nature of fulfilment. Manifestation itself seems like another trick or tool to fix something that was designed to be forever broken.
