i literally can't even handle this show and video it's a miracle it got finished askjdhgk. what a rollercoaster ride of a show.
this was seriously such a beautiful ending. it was almost TOO happy, gosh! and the parallels in this entire show, both seasons, are wonderful... and because i'm a SUCKER for parallels, i tried my best to include a bunch of them! i really focused on scene selection, and it made it raw in the end. i usually don't edit raw, but it just came naturally this time... weird! ((also, i TRIED to add a coloring, but nothing worked out, so i just did a simple one to enhance it a bit.))
and i've had this idea in my head since near the end of season one, i think? but i heard we were getting season two, and decided to make it when season two ended. i know it's a very popular song in amv's, so if it's already been done, or you can't stand cliche song usage, i'm sorry!
.... also, i tried to make it pretty pairing-neutral, and instead focus on all the friendships, but at that "lover's alibi" part, i just couldn't resist. sorry! it's my video. B)
& honestly, the only thing i'm disappointed with this seasom is haru going pro, which if you are on tumblr, you probably know a lot of people feel similarly. i think the reason why it bothered me SO MUCH that haru's conflict ended so fast and easily is because the dynamic characters had very realistic conflicts, where they had to work hard to achieve their goal. it felt like the writing shirked that theme, as i've talked about before. i would have no problem with haru wanting to go pro as long as it was gradual/escalated. ((i'll quit babbling now, sorry.))
but it really disgusts me though how a lot of the fandom reacts to criticism of the writing..... with violent/death threats??? like... really? ((i swear the majority of this fandom is twelve.)) grow the fuck up. people are allowed to analyze a work, that's how we create better works for the future. ((wow puns.)) if we didn't, everyone would still be writing glyph stories on cave walls. and there were also some reallyyy disgusting tweets from people, too, which is also disgusting. dISGUTSIgn. ((basically just stop lmao. clear your heads. go take a swim.)) honestly i'm not really associating with the fandom anymore ((but i'll still contribute, ofc.))
anyway sorry for that little negative bit, but i wanted to address that because it bothered me a lot! this is fiction, there's no need to be so rude and awful to each other.

i so agree with wishing there was more of a build up towards haru's progress on wishing to go pro. i mean ofc everyone knows it was inevitable, but most of the people on tumblr made it seem like it was a shipwar, makoharu vs rinharu instead of focusing on just haru. haru is my bb ofc i want him to get the story i believe he deserves and the build up and the development, but people don't grasp that and just turn a blind eye to key points and go 'oh u would think that--u r a makoharu shipper after all'. sighs, regardless of drama and sloppy writing, i love this anime and im really happy about this video, and im gonna miss all the characters in a whole bc all of them are beautiful and so meaningful to me in their own ways. to the future after all.

so... I've seen this upload yesterday. But I hadnt seen the whole new free season up unTIL LIKE 5 MINUTES AGO AND I WAS LIKE "NOW I NEED TO WATCH THIS AMV BECAUSE AAAAH" like... i had so many feels just seeing the thumbnail. I don't normally watch them but I've seen so many good AMVs that I'm now convinced XD Beautiful video, I love that you did it raw, and the emotion and everything is so well shown and touching and it gave me feels even though I don't watch the anime which might be not real feels but idc this is just so great man. Also I feel ya, I might not be in the Free fandom but I am in a few, and people can be really immature. I've had similar thoughts, maybe staying away from those people is best XD
