These among other classics are very popular in the bay area. Love that earth tone. Chrome and bodywork look good as well.

That should run pretty strong. 302 rated at 210 HP. Light car. Last year for that body style. Nice ride.

Almost last year. I had a 1970. Miss that car. It looked almost identical aside from some trim,

This was exactly my first car..... Bought in 1988 with 15k miles on it. Drove it till 1996 till I got in an accident and couldnt afford to fix it. I sold it to the guy who I used to get parts from and he fixed it. Who knows, maybe this is it?!!!

Love the 3 box design still. From a 1972 Audi, a Mercedes Benz W123 to this Ford

This body style lasted until 1971 in Australia. One of the most valuable muscle cars "Down Under" is the final version of this body style in Australia, the infamous Falcon XY GTHO Phase III powered by a 351C V8 very similar in spec to the Boss 351 Mustang V8, with slightly smaller, closed chambered heads. Pristine, documented original examples sell north of $750,000USD, over a million dollars Australian.

Actually it made it to 73 only because the phase 4 was net ready to race in 71

Caution with this era Ford automatic column shifters. They had/have a danger issue of the cars coming out of Park without anyone in the car. The levers did not have adequate detente. The cars can roll away attended or unattended by slipping out of park. That is why the dash warning sticker exists. It would not surprise me if that sticker was installed by dealers at a later date rather than at the factory. Good luck. Treat it with respect. Use the parking brake.

I used to have a 1965 Mercury Comet that would do that and it did roll a couple of times without anyone in it. I thought it could have been the transmission linkage, but it’s interesting you say that. I don’t have it anymore, but now I wonder.

My 1968 Galaxie 500 convertible jumped out of park on high idle and hit the side of a telephone pole. It then becamed lodged in the neighbors fence. The state farm insurance adjuster didn't believe me!

I didn't know they made them in that body style quite that late. Nice.

Similar to the Australian Falcon only we didn't have the 302 as an original car except in the G.T. versions. The only difference is the front and rear treatment.
