Good to see you and Meg back. Your videos are soothing and inspirational. Always make me feel like I want to go back to my local woods. I hope you're soon back to good health.
Hi Simon. I am a big fan of your Woodland photography. Surely missed your and Meg's presence on UA-cam. I am happy that you are back.now. Take Care. God Bless.
Exactly the kind of photography experience that echoes my own reality. Including today. Sod epic - just go out and enjoy anyway, cos being in nature is itself a gift. Also glad to hear you've been doing what you need to do for yourself and your own health. Love the gentleness in the images. Lovely to see Meg playing in the water too. I smiled with that.
Simon, so good to see you and Meg back in the woods. You are one of the more interesting and thoughtful photographers on UA-cam - certainly an influence on me in that you got me into woodland photography, I shoot mostly locally and I like to embrace complex scenes rather than shy away from them.
Great to see you back Simon … always enjoy your videos! I believe those grasses are sedges. Sedges, on closer examination, have 3 sided or triangular stems which sets them apart from regular grasses. The little ditty “Sedges have Edges” is an easy way to remember the difference. Again, welcome back, and all the best to you and Meg!
Nice to see you and Meg back in the woods, I think it's great to be out in a more ordinary woodland that looks a little bit more like the woods we photographs. Great photographs. Thanks for sharing.
Nice to see you back and I'm sorry to learn you've been unwell and I hope your recovery continues at pace. I love the 1st image, especially the version in rain. As ever, your narrative about composition is really helpful. It's good to see you back
Good to have you and Meg back. Sorry you have been unwell but hoping you are getting back to full health now, most important. You are excellent at explaining how you see and capture an image 👏
Been watching your videos for years now. You seem to be such a nice person. Love the calm feeling of the videos and the content is inspiring. Keep at it and happy to see you. 😊
Good to see you back Simon & glad you got over the health issues. That wood looked so difficult to image - the type of wood where I would give up - so chaotic but as always you have shown that with a bit of persistence & a good compositional eye you can still come away with good images. Thank you for the inspiration & looking forward to the the things to come.
Great to see you back on my TV, I love how you talk us through your compositions. Also, great to see a video about photography in normal everyday environments.
It's great that you're back Simon, with your style of thoughtful content presented in a calm manner. To me it seems like you work more like a large format photographer in the way you approach and consider each scene.
Simon, good to see you back and to hear you are healthy. TBH is is also to see doing the type of videos agsin like you originally did - videos about woodland photography and Meg. Personally I’m less interested in the mindfulness videos, so a good return to form 😊
It’s wonderful having you and Meg back😊Missed your enthusiasm and content, but so glad to see you still standing, and hope you continue with better health. You could also try lightening the load in what seems to be a heavy backpack! Meg is obviously glad too, and it’s great to see her still intent on checking out smells and splashing in water. Love the images, so nice and green, compared to us here in Oz, with winter. Look forward to seeing more content from you. Take care!🇦🇺
Welcome back and thanks for another inspirational video. These are the kind days most of us are out for a walk - it’s good to see how you’ve still managed to get some nice images.
Great to see you back on YT Simon, I just purchased your Woodlands book and it's full of stunning photo's. I'm hoping it'll inspire me to get out in the woodland again 😁
So good to have you back Simon. You certainly haven't lost your magic while you've been convalescing. Wishing you full recovery to the best of health and more woodland wanderings.
Hello Simon, great to have you back. Missed you very much and also of course the black four legged monster (Meg) 🙂wish you all the best and looking forward. greatings from Germany
Welcome back Simon. We did missed your content. It was also a great opportunity to see older videos on your channel, that are always atual and of great value. Welcome back, and hope your health issues are a thing of the past as soon as possible. Cheers.
Welcome back, Simon, always good to see a new video from you. Glad to hear that you are on the mend. Meg’s obvious joy being out in the woods again is very heartwarming.
Great eye for composition and you can explain so clearly what you are shooting and why. I love to hear your thought process. Will be watching closely for the next one. I also still love to look at and read Gathering Time book. It stays out all the time to enjoy. And so good to see Meg too!!! Thanks for the vlog!!
Nice to see another video from you Simon, and in a way welcome back on UA-cam! I enjoyed this video, and your explanations of compositions. Looking forward to what you have ‘in store’ for us.
Very glad to see you again, Simon! Especially to know that you are on the mend! I really enjoy learning from your insight, and Meg adds a special bond to your videos. How do you protect yourself and Meg from leeches and ticks while you are in the woods?
Welcome back Simon. Good to know you are on the mend. I have missed your blogs, they do inspire me to go out into the woods, but sadly yet I do not have your skills, but I am working on it.
Sorry to hear you’ve not been well but glad you’re on the mend again. Great to see another video from you. I myself am doing less and less traditional landscape photography these days and much prefer to stay local and photograph the woodlands close to home. Your videos are a constant inspiration and a reminder that you don’t always need epic conditions. Keep it up 👍🏻
Glad you are back and hope all is well. I can certainly understand. I enjoy your videos immensely the relaxing hall in the forest with a bit of depth in how to arrange a picture to please. My first picture I purchased was from you love it still.
New subscriber and really liked the woodlands video. We have 3 Great Pyrenees dogs and loved the inclusion of Meg in the woods. I have had flu for the past 3 days and am happy to recover. I hope you continue to improve as well.
Hi Simon, nice to see you and Meg again on the tube. I've always liked your approach on woodland photography, as can be seen by the images you took at this session. Take your time to regain strength and do not get into the rat race of having to put out a video every week for us...... Very interested as what the project is going to be. Can't wait to find out. Regards, Ron.
Nice to see you back and motivated for some awesome woodland videos. A different approach in a different woodland area: nice to see how you make the best from every scene. Woodland in Germany is often different from North England. Knarly trees are really rare. I hope for more videos from you with Meg as co-author. Greetings from Bernd
Mr Baxter doing what Mr Baxter does best !! Great to see you and Meg back Simon ! Hope you are feeling well and fully on the road to recovery. Totally concur on your thoughts re YT and the pressure to produce something unrealistically spectacular (one of there reasons I stopped my channel)....just keep doing what you emjoy
Great to see you and Meg back out! I'm so sorry to hear you've not been well. Having had some health issues some years ago I know the toll they can have not only physically, but mentally and emotionally too. So it's great to see you out enjoying yourself and on the mend! As a (dumb) aside - I saw the notification for this video immediately after waking up this morning, and my brain looked at the title and was wondering how you were going to make clods of earth epic 🤣
Hi Simon I'm soooo glad to see you . Thank for the video . The image I love is the first one ( and I loved the way you explain your work in post processing in your bonus video on KO-FI ) Hope a complete recovery and 'll wait for all the news .A caress to MEG!
Hi Simon and Meg. It's so wonderful to see the two of you out and about. We've missed you. There is one frame where you can really see the love and devotion that Meg shows in her eyes. I think she is more excited to be out there than those of us desk-bound photographers. You've inspired me once again. I will keep a camera on my desk as a daily reminder that, as Wordsworth so aptly put it, "The world is too much with us". Looking forward to your next video.
Great to see you and Meg again! When there is to much green go Infrared. Just buy an infrared filter to try it first before going through the expense of converting a camera to Infrared.
Epic to see you again, Simon and Meg! ;-) You were missed. Hope you recover soon, and looking forward to seeing your inspirational videos again. This is an excellent start! Do I recall correctly that I heard Thomas say you two were up to something?
It is a joy to see you back again Simon you are The Master of woodland photography and I've learned so much from you're vlogs. I hope you continue to recover from health images and get back to doing what you love so much. Great to see Meg again to. What is that tripod head you use, I'd love to get one ?
Glad to see you are feeling better mate, thats the main thing. Nice to see you out and about in a scene and situation the vast majority of us find ourselves in , some nice images from the trip just goes to show you dont need epic locations and conditions, although its great if you can , for many when photography is a hobby there is so much other life stuff going on , personally speaking , time is a big factor , or the lack there of . Great to see you out and about again, all the best !
It's great to see you and Meg back in the woodland. You are my main man when it comes to inspiring woodland photography. Glad to hear you are on the mend - wishing you a speedy recovery.

So nice to see you and Meg back in the woodlands! Take care of you first and foremost, we'll all be here when you are.
Awesome to have you back!
Glad to see you back and well
