Regardless what one rides, this is what Adventure riding is all about. The scenery, the remotes, man and his bike. There are times when we need to slow down and absorb what this wonderful country has to offer and in my humble opinion, Motor bikes are the perfect machine.
Its easy to take the Flinders Ranges for granted when you’ve seen them a hundred times but they never cease to impress Absolutely fantastic part of the world and well worth the effort😎
Just fantastic. I was glued to the screen watching this. I fully appreciate the amount of work you are putting in to shooting and editing these videos. The don't just make themselves. You've done an awesome job.
Congrats on doing what most of us only ever talk about doing . Really enjoying this series and hope old mate who crashed is ok I'll stay tuned for the next installment

Such a stunning country we live in. Seriously giving me FOMO and now re-thinking my holiday leave!! Great video again Vern, looking forward to the next one!
Great video once again Vern. Your footage & narration is awesome. Cant wait to get out to the flinders. Would be great to see the Aussie Bike or hike crew again. 👍
I am itching to get out for a ride, but still awaiting delivery of a new bike. I'm not sure if this footage helped or made it worse 😅 Cheers for the Sunday viewing!
Hey bud awesome videos. Really good 👍. But it’s not garn railway. It’s ghan. As in Afghan. It’s paying respect to the Afghan community that helped build the line with their camels. Not many people know but they were told to shoot their camels after all of their work. The camels were their children and they couldn’t do it so they let them go with a lot of heartbreak
Thanks for that info mate, that's really interesting. This is similar to the pronunciation of Kosciuszko, the locally known version vs the true pronunciation.
Great footage and seems like a well organised event. Where do I go (website) to join these types of events?

The Flinders Ranges is the Aussie equivalent of the Wild West
Great ride Vern,
Now you’ve done a few rides on F800gs how do compare it to the tenere 660? Interested in your thoughts as I’m looking at both.
Cheers
It looks like a great ride. Could you tell me the shortest distance one can travel before needing to refuel?
Depends on the bike, lots of variation in this pack. Some are around 200km, others up to 400. Mine gets around 320kms at 80km/h.
